I always shop at Albertsons because it is one of the closest grocery markets located near my home. Albertson is easy to navigate and has constant sales. I have not really talked to the workers much since I know my way around the store and usually self checkout but I know for sure that they are willing to help out customers. The layout of the store is quite typical and easy to navigate. Okay I'm giving a two stars for the sake of the few good employees that actually look like they are moving. Or doing SOMETHING. I came in, did my shopping which mind you the deli kid is like, on his third day so he was appropriately slow. I even joked with him about how I worked at a deli and to watch his thumbs... I get to the registers...lines... Which are OK...I get in line, wait....and wait....I get to the front the cashier Elenore was taking her sweeeeeeeet time...then says to her customer, "oh, we have to start over now" I guess the woman had some super complicated coupons or something. I had no more time nor patience. I looked at my clock and realized I had to get going NOW. So I said sorry to Elenore and took my things to the self checkout. I breeze thru my items and bag it all up in less than a minute......-.-... Get all the way to the end and....boom some kind of error and now I have to wait for 'assistance' I put quotations on that because it's imaginary. The guy who was supposed to be "assisting" checkout customers is no where to be found. I guess rush hour is break time around here... So I look around and look to the customer service woman {in her defense she did EVERYTHING in her power to help me even gave me a discount} she says ma'am I'll be right with you! ...I can't wait any longer... So I say sorry I have I go and I'll be back! And I go. I get back and patiently wait for her to finish up with the customer ahead of me and tell her I'm back for my groceries. She tells me they have put them away....{I was gone for merely 10 minutes} ...now I'm pissed. I am now waiting for a guy to bring me what he has left in this basket of go backs. So I have a few of my old item and some random new items. I had to redo all of my shopping. Thank goodness the deli got my meat back and could just hand it over. (Btw while the service manager was helping me good ol' Elenore {who was moving at the speed of light....if it was off -.- or at the pace of a baby giraffe} has the nerve to yell at her that she's ready for a break. Of course you are....you've been working so hard. *rolls eyes*) I just want to see some motivation, urgency....act like you are there to help me GET OUT OF THERE. My family and I have shopped at MANY Albertson's throughout Orange County and Long Beach. This location is very close to home and is our local grocery store. It is in a great spot and staff tend to be nice. Almost every other time I go in here (we go 2-3 times a week) they never have my 24 case of Arrowheads and always are missing something. Tonight they had none of my water, none of my Snackwells, and all of the bagels were EXPIRED. Last time the milks were expired as well. At checkout, a bag boy comes back from break and seemed friendly...but told the cashier he lost his name badge. The cashier said the manager wont be too pleased, and the bag boy said he doesn't give a damn in front of my 5 year old. We went again and used the bathrooms. The mens room had a pile of used toilet paper in the corner and poop smeared on the walls. Funny thing is that the employee check-off sheet was signed every 2-3 hours for the bathroom and it never was cleaned. My wife said the womens bathroom was in similar shape. We will go back since it is only grocery stores for blocks, but they need to stock up on items and watch their staff. read more

The cashier that served me was EXTREMELY rude. To start, he saw us standing in line, looked right at us, we continued talking with his friend. After he was done, he finally said he would help us. I told him I had to get gum as well, which is right at the register, and I said I didn't know what to choose, his answer was "how about the fastest one". Not the best Albertson's I've been to. I usually only go to this location because of the recycling center and I'd just drop in to buy things from the recycling money. I don't really like the organization/layout of this Albertson's compared to the one across from mile square park. I always go here and unfortunately I have to keep on going here because of location. I've always notice customer service is not one of there high priorities. That was fine because I go there for there specials and like a said location. I have the "just for you app" on my phone. I've notice if you do not input your number before the register clerk finish's ringing you up, your just for you coupons, Will not go through and you will not get your discount. They have to delete every item and start your check out experience again I little flaw that can be avoided if the clerk would be patient enough and ask you "would you like to enter your phone number". Albertson also gives gas rewards, witch also needs your phone number. So Veronica rudest I've encountered yet, had to ring me up three times before I could get my just for you coupons. That whole time she made me feel like i was trying to steal some thing, or was to stupid to use the app. She tried to correct what i was doing, but I don't think she knew how this app. works. The worst customer service experience I had today. Went to buy a carton of cigarettes in which i was given the wrong carton so I went back to get the right one and I told they can't not get a refund but all I wanted was an exchange. Great hot food counter, but the store has HUGE management problems. The company spent a fortune freshening the place up, but didn't bother to fix the terrible rotten meat smell that permeates the entire store. It's sickening! Prices, as with all Albertsons, are very high - not as bad as Vons, but still far too high. The meat prices are especially overpriced - these people must think we cannot compare prices. Advice: find a store that doesn't smell like 5,000 pounds of rancid pork are stashed somewhere in the air conditioning system. Came here to pick up last minute items on july 15th around 8:30 pm for my weekly grocery shopping and was made extremely uncomfortable by an employee. This male mexican employee followed me around the store and made sure to watch me while I was trying to find the goat cheese brand I wanted, and when I turned around he tried to play it off that he was not watching me by pretending to fix and organize the breads in front of him. I mean how sad this is this is 2021 we should be past racial profiling but apparently not, sure they hire the token black guy to appear diverse but they are not. They need diversity training and to fire that employee who thinks it's okay to racial profile. Do I think anything will change or be done nope, but I will call them out and take my money elsewhere. And it's funny how the owner has gotten a complaint before by another customer stating corrective action will be taken, yet; I am proof the owner, and store director could care less and continue to condone racist prejudice behavior. read more

I think this place is running a scam. I've only been here a handful of times. Twice, I've noticed that they charged me for items that I didn't purchase. One time, they scanned a bottle of olive oil twice. Another time, they charged me $8.99 for "bird seed." Unfortunately both times I didn't catch the error until I already arrived home in Long Beach, so it was too late to get it fixed. I just won't go back again. Scam!! read more

Looks like it's been a while since this Albertsons location has gotten a Yelp review. I wonder why. It's a shame that the number of Albertsons in Orange County is starting to dwindle due to the corporation itself. However, I come here whenever I'm near Duc's apartment and mainstream grocery shopping needs to happen. It's located in the huge plaza with so many other shops but the feel of the plaza in general is quite run-down. It's reflected a bit in this Albertsons as well. The layout doesn't seem as intuitive as other Albertsons stores. I also usually go for chicken tenders and potato wedges from the hot deli area in any Albertsons - surprisingly this one wasn't as great as others? However, nothing really wrong with this location so it gets an "A-OK"! read more

Never again will I order a cake at the Albertsons bakery. What is the point of ordering a cake going over details and still not get what you order? I had ordered a Darth Vader cake for my son. Our first choice was not available so the person who took the order said what they could do. I loved it. I get a phone call the day I am supposed to pick it. They obviously are not going by the order sheet because they are asking me weird questions. I go to pick it up and it is not what I ordered. All white frosting with a picture of Darth Vader's head. It was supposed to be a picture of space with the Death Star and a full body Darth Vader. This isn't the first time they have messed up cake orders. My cousin ordered a cake for his daughter's birthday. Ordered it a week ahead only to show up and they weren't even close to having it ready. They had to grab the first cake they had available to get him the cake. Also, their Deli has some of the rudest people. I have only been assisted promptly once. By promptly meaning some one took mercy on me and helped me after standing there for almost 10 minutes with no other customers waiting. The deli employees will be looking right at you yet don't make a move. When I do finally have some one ask "Can I help you?" , the look on their faces shows how much they hate doing anything. Terrible service. Thankfully the rest of the market runs smoothly. If they rely on bakery and deli only, that would suck. read more

This is my go to place for lunch. I get the pick 3 for $5.49 which is very reasonably priced. Usually they would serve about 3-4 pieces of chicken tenders or 2 pieces of chicken fried or baked, a good portion of potatoes wedges and a salad of choice. Unfortunately I discovered that your experience at the food service area depends on who serves you. Everyone generally is nice and polite but today I had the unfortunate experience of being served by a slightly chubby lady with a tattoo on her left arm. This review is solely for Cashier Margerit and Derick (one of the managers I think). Super frustrating and awful customer service by both. I wish I could give negative stars! So we got a few things and light up sticks (box of 24). At the register the price didn't come up with the barcode, we saw the price on the tag $2.99 so told the lady (Margerit). Obviously she didn't believe us so she asked her helper to go and check. Which a is fine. The guy comes back after 5min and says yes the tag says $2.99. So she started opening the box. When we asked why... She said I think we sell it per stick... You think?!? And who opens a packed box of 12 sticks. Anyways, after the questions she suddenly left the counter and went to check herself. She probably saw the same price tag, comes back in disbelief and page for manager. Derick comes after paging twice and goes to check himself. Comes back and says no they don't sell it for $2.99. When I asked how much they sell it for he say a he doesn't know + he thinks Margerit is right and they sell in pack of two. SERIOUSLY?!? First you don't know the price and you don't want to believe the tag you have put. Second you "think" you sell it pack of two and have to open that small box of 12 pack (it's one small cardboard box). All this time we were holding a line 2 days before Thanksgiving + I repeatedly told them I've a 7 weeks old at home so if they could "Please" hurry up. Anyways by than I was SUPER FRUSTRATED...had no patience left so I picked up for whatever earlier I had paid for and left. read more
