I was in tears when I got to the car. The left is the one I saw that prompted me to order a cake. The top was flat, the sides had three rows, white, light and dark. I had ordered this in teal once before for my son's smash cake and it was perfect, but sadly the photographer needed to reschedule. I reordered and it was a mess. The first row is partially one the top, drooping down the side, giving it a round shape, not a flat top for his cake topper and the over used "medium" drowns out the dark color, making a fade hardly distinguishable. Half the circles are lazily thrown on, so it was just uneven and ugly. And to top it off, whoever did this one used the wrong size base, so it didn't fit on the scalloped edge top cake stand and had to be moved, making the already disappointing cake even uglier. Because I had ordered one before, I had no reason to think it would turn out like this, I was picking it up on the way to the park and didn't have time to get something else. I am so disappointed that they let someone who clearly isn't ready decorate a custom order. read more

The lady at the self checkout 8/30/2020 at 225 pm wasn't very customer friendly I was having trouble with my app because I normally go to Highland Albertsons. She has a little attitude as if she hates helping at the self checkout. After a few times she finally said let me help u. You can obviously see I have a heart monitor. So yes unfortunately I am disabled. But no matter what. A smile and ACTING LIKE YOU ENJOY YOUR JOB make a customer feel as if I am not making you go out of your way to help. And a smile while helping would make a customer feel as if you were happy to help out. Sad to say I won't go back to Redlands. The people at the Highland store are friendly and helpful. Oh also I didn't get my free little Micky mouse collectibles we spent over the $30. Wish I had taken a picture of the employee who was helping out hope she finds a job she enjoys because this one isn't it. Working with the public means pretending you are happy even when your not. I love this store! I love how large it is and everything is spread out so it doesn't feel crowded and during Covid that is important. I love the bakery, meat department and produce. This is our home store since this is right next door to where we live, the store is always well stocked, well as well stocked as it can be due to the suppliers. The different departments are wonderful, the meat is always fresh and I have yet to find an expired thing on the shelf. I love the bakery and everything is always fresh, try the threes leche cake it will not disappoint. Just make sure you let it sit at room temp for a little unlike I did and got mad cause the milks had not had a chance to do their things. The store is keeping with the covid standards at the moment with reduced capacity as well as masks. The already made foods are very convenient and delicious, we love the Italian anti pasta salad. The only beef I have is that the prices are a bit high but again quality is where it is at and these people have great quality! read more

I needed some dobis baby food for my sons Tim & Eric so I came to this store. The store was well stocked I was able to find what I was looking for easily. I also picked up some fresh baked cupcakes which looked beautifu and were actually very goodl. I was however very disappointed that I saw multiple customers walking around without masks. it didn't seem the manager's cared too much that people are shopping without masks. I feel so bad for the employees that have to come to work and realize that their bosses don't give a s*** about them. I will not be shopping at this store until they realize that they could be killing their employees and their customers. If a customer walked in with his ballsack hanging out of his jeans he would be asked to leave. Hours on Yelp say 6:00a to 11:00p. Just to confirm before driving down to the store at a little after 10:00 I called their phone to confirm. The phone just rings and rings with no recorded message. This Albertson's always has everything I'm looking for! I wanted to make spam musubi but I could not find sushi nori seaweed wrap anywhere. I went to little tokyo in LA to get some, but I noticed that Albertson's had it when I stopped by last week! The prices are great and because I always buy everything in bulk, I often spend $200-300 on groceries at Con's and Stater Bros., but when I come to Albertson's I only spend around $150! i'm at a loss of words the meatloaf made in the bakery is delicous however it is 2:43 in the morning and i cannot sleep. my tummy has been gurgling and i feel like i'm going to throw up if i move and i also feel like i am going to violently poop my pants. the meatloaf was great, however these stomach issues it is causing me are not great read more

I was treated very rudely at this Albertsons. I was buying a six pack of beer, and showed my out of state ID to the checkout woman. She told me they don't accept out of state IDs and then asked me what my business was in town. I told her that's none of her business. I felt like she was incredibly rude to me. I'm giving this Albertsons 5 stars for 2 reasons. First, they have a chicken wings station with all sorts of different flavors. Second, they have a very well stocked seafood area. Although I'm not too much of a seafood buff, I am totally impressed with the organization n plentifulness of the counter! I almost feel like I'm at pikes place in Seattle! This location is up the street from redlands high school in same lot as Panera. Lots of parking close by. These guys also have very nice healthy foods options. Great fresh produce area, even though it is a bit smaller than your average stater bros produce section. Overall, things are a bit pricier than some other grocery stores but good quality and more specialty items. Ooo! They also have a nice toy area on the side :) read more

The Albertsons' bakery in Redlands is my go-to, because they make quality cakes that are reasonably priced, too. They are even creative when it comes to designing something they don't have in their books. Recently, I wanted to have a Spider-man theme for my son, so they designed a cake around a cake topper I got from Amazon. Not only did it look good, but it tasted great, too. I had time to kill, so I came in here with almost nothing in mind. I loved how much bigger it is and how much more items they offer than the place I go to near my house. The prices were also cheaper on produce. I wasn't in a position to get anything perishable at the time of my visit, so I had to pass on the produce. I didn't find something that I needed, but that could be a sign of the times, beauty trend-wise. I did find a few unexpected items (generic running shorts for my husband). Went to the deli to get dinner for the family. Ordered two of the family meal deals with chicken and sides. Wanted the habanero chicken, but the guy behind the counter told me it was old and had been there awhile, which I greatly appreciated. So I opted for fried chicken for both meals. Got home to find that the fried chicken was horribly dry and old. Why warn me of one and not the other? Shouldn't there be a shelf life of how long the chicken can sit in that heater display? This is my neighborhood store so I have been shopping here for 11 years despite the calls I have had to make to the manager after being ignored in line either at the deli, bakery or even the pharmacy. I feel invisible to most of the employees. But on a good note, each time I have spoken with a manager they were very polite and understanding with a promise to do more training. Instead of continuing to complain and waste my time I now drive across town to Stater Bros which I never did like because of the time spent in line, but the prices are much lower so that is the silver lining. read more

Today I went to Albertsons and With the whole coronavirus thing going on I wanted to wear a scarf over my nose and mouth and people were looking at me like I'm crazy or going to rob the store, I was with my little sister. There was security following me and my little sister around, which I understand he is just trying to be cautious but throughout the whole time I was there like really? One person even came up to us to tell us we look like gangsters, I had to tell him we are just trying to be cautious, because I have a little brother at home with a weak immune system and people kept staring and staff kept walking by staring at us and I just didn't feel comfortable at all. When we were finally at check out we went through the self checkout and one of the staff kept walking up to us not saying anything and left he did that about 3 times it's ridiculous. I hate shopping here. Okay, so I'm going to backpedal a little bit. I hate the products that I buy here. I have gotten meat that was questionable by the next day, pasta noodles with some sort of meal worm, maggot, or some... thing... in it, freezer items that were open, and now today I got a thing of pasta noodles that was open (and subsequently spilled onto the floor). I've only been shopping at this Albertsons for 9 months, and all of the above has happened. Additionally, their milk doesn't seem to have an expiration date very far in the future either. Looking at around a week or so. I've "heard" that you can drink it up to two weeks beyond, but I can't imagine the milk is good for three times as long as it's marked.
