There's nothing wrong with this grocery store. It's clean, it's neat, it's got pretty good prices and good weekly sales. The people who work there are almost always courteous. There's a Red Box and a Coinstar inside, as well as a mini Starbucks (there's also one across the parking lot, but hey, I didn't plan this). There's plenty of parking in front and theres a CVS next door for all your drugs (heh). However there's no real plus side either, unless you conveniently live nearby. I frequent both here and the Stater Bro's on La Mirada BLVD because they might have different things on sale different weeks. I do feel like Stater Bros has fresher fruit than this Albertsons though... I do like Albertson's way more than Ralphs and Vons, both of them seem dirtier and not as organized every time I go there. read more

This location got a prime real estate opportunity. It is on a busy street with a lot of stuff around, so whenever you need something it is very convenient to access. The only problem is it is very convenient for everybody is accessing it. The lines are always really long. But because it is so convenient I am constantly coming here. I've been a customer at this Albertsons for years. It's time to find a new place to shop. I'm tired of having to wait in long lines because they refuse to keep enough employees to handle the workload. I've complained in person to the manager, as well as phoned the store. I get plenty of excuses, but no changes. I was told the self checkout was stopped due to an agreement with the union. I'm fine with that, but how does that help the union members if the only thing you do is close the self checkout and not open more checkout lanes with cashiers? I was also told that it is the corporate office that determines how many employees are to be scheduled for work each day. So is anyone letting corporate know that the customers are complaining and going elsewhere? Apparently not. Goodbye Albertsons, you just became irrelevant. read more

The people here are so friendly, and it's my preferred place to shop -- with one major exception. The lines are frequently very long. It's been happening for years, and I imagine it has to do with small margins and flow of customers. But it almost had me walking out of the store tonight, aNd not just tonight. read more

I live down the street so of course it is my go to store. Prices are average to above average for the area. La Mirada has a 10.5 sales tax so everything you buy in the city is just outright expensive. I love the slices of white cake that they sell by the register, but sometimes sad that it isn't there everyday. I asked a gal in bakery who stated it just depends on what is made everyday. I wish they had a schedule to which days certain slices are made. Also they removed the self checkout stations... why.? I was told by a cashier to be more in tune with customers. Quite frankly I really don't care to have a conversation with my cashier I want to get in & out fast as possible. Overall pleasant experiences here. read more

This store is ridiculous. It is suppose to be fresh food. I went to the store today 04/13/2017 to buy some onions and this is what i get.. Old and stale. They were meant to be used to make some homemade easter egg dye..i bought a 3lb bag and at least 4 of them were close to this gross. Price is competitive. Store is clean and organized. Fruit is fresh. I always buy milk, juice, butter, fruit, etc. Line is always long.

On a hot day, and recently there has been many, the walk-in cold beer case is THE SPOT. There's also a Bank of America inside the store. Besides that this Albertson's is pretty standard. Never enough checkout lanes open. Most of what they sell is too expensive so you need a member card; I usually only buy stuff that's on sale anyway. Produce is also overpriced and not always great tasting but it may be the best nearby option outside any local farmer's markets. They don't encourage shoppers to reuse bags; I overheard a cashier explaining how dumb it was to consider the environment when deciding how to get your groceries home. I recently discovered that they sell single serving Albertson's brand dippin' dots in the ice cream section. Those are quite refreshing. Oh, and please choose your ice cream selection BEFORE you open the container door. read more

I've found this particular Albertsons' overall selection to be decent, but a bit overpriced. Typical of many chain grocery stores. However, I would say that this store is below average in terms of customer service. While I have had staff at Vons offer me help (finding particular items, carrying bags to the car), I have never been offered such help at this store. In addition, I've found that many of the cashiers are rude - one cashier snapped at me today when I politely told her that I did not want to sign up for a "Albertsons Preferred" card. Perhaps she was just having a bad day, but I have no reason to shop at this store given the high prices and mediocre customer service. Bathrooms are very often dirty and paper towels are empty. Store manager comes across as very pompous and is selective in whom he greets. Other then that, store has built in Starbucks, nice craft beer and liquor section and employees overall are very pleasant. read more

I love this Albertsons because everybody has always been friendly and accomodating. Its like old fashioned service use to be. A special thumbs up to the guys in the meat dept who have always been helpful despite the fact that I always ask for the chicken breasts specially fillet and seasoned. They are always friendly and polite. And a shout out to the lead produce guy. He is very outgoing and makes it a point to talk to you and even give you information on whatever veggies or fruits you might ve buying, such as country of origin and sweetness. Even down to what climate they thrive in. Workers in general, including managers, all seem to work as a team and ask you if you need help. I will be moving far away from the store and not be visiting anymore after this month, so I thought I would write a good review since I will miss the store read more

Ahhhh, Albertsons. What a relationship we have. I got my first legal brew here. I've seen countless school buddies in here. I've killed plenty of hours in here just wandering around with friends trying to figure out what we want. The simple fact that your located in the center will make people glee or cringe. Many of the late nights I stroll into here the staff is hard at work re-stoking. There's plenty of room to maneuver even on the busiest of weekends. They have a decent selection of alcohol located in their walk in frige which like the poster before me said does wonders on a hot day. I've had plenty a good night that has stemmed directily from running into someone in here. You make the world oh so small. Your sheer convenience and if anythign they have those awesome Chocolate Chip cookies that you can get dirt cheap some days. read more

Today I went there for lunch. It took forever to check out. The cashier that was helping me was talking with 2 other cashiers something about 2 shots of coffee. Ordered a specialty cake for a surprise engagement party from the bakery. The selection of flavors, frostings and designs was surprisingly large. The staff helped me pick out the right size and were very helpful with all my questions and concerns. If I were to have written this review 5 years ago, it wouldn't have gotten 5 stars. I used to hate going in this store. High prices and long lines. This used to be the store I went to when I didn't feel like driving further. Today, I love this store. I started shopping here on a regular basis around the end of 2009. The staff is always friendly and the store is always clean. Since their remodel, it has only gotten better. Great produce and meat selection. With the addition of the self checkout, the wait time has dropped tremendously. The new sushi chef makes amazingly good sushi, who doesn't love starbucks, and Redbox makes my running around time a lot shorter. Throughout the year, Albertsons now holds events. Easter egg hunts, raffles, cupcake decorating, Santa Claus, and many other events. My 2 1/2 year old son loves running around here and everyone is always so nice to him. They have seen him grow from a newborn. When they have them, they give him stickers and balloons. There deli is great. large selection of meats and cheeses, chicken dinners and wings, and plenty of sides. I can't forget to mention their bakery who have made countless cakes for my family. read more

Great deli here. I like the roasted, fried, & rotisserie chicken. My Son likes their salt & vinegar wings. They also have fantastic broasted potato wedges. They sometimes have a pistachio fluff that is delish. They have a good selection of sushi too. It's brought in by a vendor but is good quality and taste good too. Since you're in a grocery store the selection of beverages cant be beat. Same goes for desert. read more

I only come to this place when I'm in a rush or desperate. A combo of both was my reason for visiting this past Mother's Day. Let me just say, if you're in the business of serving customers, ACT HAPPY to be doing it! I've come here on several occasions only to deal with a crotchety cashier, whom I wish I could get her name so I can post it. My sister and I were there together buying alcohol. We're TWINS by the way, and she carded my sister, then gave me a hard time about my ID. So I told my sister to buy my alcohol for me, and she hassled us about that too! After calling a MANAGER to her register, we were fine to buy our alcohol. DUH!!! WE look identical you moron! She acted like I was trying to pull a fast one on her! On my most recent visit, the hag in the deli department was a real PEACH! I pointed to a cake and asked if it was cheese cake. She snottily answers me "NONE of these are cheesecakes!" Giving me the "are you going to buy or are you wasting my time" look. Ughhh! Can't stand this store! I came in to pick up a full sheet cake and it looked like a 8 year old decorated it. It was very plain and it had a big dip in the middle and a dent in the top of it. I had them make a photo cake with a image that I provided and they didn't even bother putting a boarder around the image. It was wrinkled and looked way too small for the size of the cake. Asked the girl working the bakery if she could do anything to make it look better, she suggested some sprinkles and I said ok, let's try it. I asked if she could maybe add some balloons to the upper corners to fill in some of the empty space. Well, I guess she didn't know how to do that so she called someone else to help her, and this was a mistake. The balloons turned out ugly and the sprinkles just rolled around on the top of the cake cause the base frosting has already harden. She even tried to fill in the dent in the cake with the sprinkles and it just made it more noticeable. I was so frustrated and disappointed that I just told them to give me the cake. So glad this Albertsons is staying open. I can tell you why too. Everyone there is friendly. The manager, checker, stockers, produce, etc. Bakery personnel can use some of whatever everyone else is on. But most of the personnel there are nice, ask if you need help, and will run around the store to help you. They will treat you like they own the store! I love it. Their prices are fair too.
