Love shopping at an Albertsons. I've been going to this Albertsons when it was an Lucky's which Albertsons acquired in around 1998. Good times though. And I'm obviously still shopping here. This store is pretty convenient. The quality of their products are very fresh. They can be expensive, but you do get what you paid for. Whenever there's good sale going on, I always go for it. Meat: For the BBQ on the 4th of July, I got 3 lbs of marinated flap meat from the butcher which it was my first time getting meat from the butcher ever. My parents, brother and sister really love the flap meat a lot. I also got some Foster Farm's half breast chicken which is so good. Organic produce: Really love their organic strawberries. My parents thought I was crazy eating some organic stuff. And I'll be buying some more organic fruit soon. Customer service: Excellent! No questions asked!! I wish this supermarket was open 24/7 but sometimes you can't always have what you want!! I come here and shop for most of my groceries only if they have sale items!! When they have a sale it really is a pretty good deal. I would recommend checking your newspaper or going online to see what the sale is and also cutting some coupons from the LA Sunday paper. After you do all that than come to Alberstons and go do your shopping!! This place is pretty big with large isles to go and look through. The fresh bakery section looks pretty nice but I still haven't tried anything from it. But it does smell pretty yummy!! The parking isn't a problem and the lines are pretty fast !! Grocery stores should not be allowed to sell perishables after they have been stocked in stores for a certain period of time. I purchased a pack of strawberries last week and fortunately I cut them up before serving to my kids. Photo attached shows how rotten they are. I had to wonder why each of them were like that and then I realized that these were more than likely leftovers from Valentines Day which would mean they were selling these well beyond their shelf life. $$$$ read more

The prices here are too high, the selection is limited and there are never enough checkers. But NOW I will never return. You have lost my business. It is ALWAYS well-stocked, clean and easy to navigate...Now, there's a reason I make a beeline for this store (or any Von's) and NOT Ralph's, Gelson's, Stater Bros., Aldi's. etc. For the stuff of Albertson's legend: Fruuuuuuh-iiiiiied Chicken, woo-hoo!!!!!!!!!! Went to Albertsons on a Sunday afternoon. Was having trouble finding a item on the shelf, I approached a employee and said excuse me and straight up ignored me and I said it again and finally got attention but the employee didn't even bother to make eye contact or anything just oh aisle 8 and walked off. I've been coming to this Albertsons for over 20 years. Make sure you check the expiration date for EVERYTHING! Most items are expired on the shelf. Aren't they suppose to go through inventory and check what's expired??? Also, there have been way more homeless people going into that Albertsons and it's so gross because they're spitting on the floor, touching food and it's so uncomfortable to go in there having to make sure they don't come up to you. Great people, very friendly and helpful when you can find them. Prices and policies are crazy though. The only reason I shop here is when they have stuff I like on sale. But that is annoying too since I usually have to get a rain check because it's out of stock. I grew up liking many of the name brands on the shelves but now they make you jump through electronic hoops to get advertised deals - just so frustrating. Now I shop at Sprouts. There has been tremendous improvements at this store. There are minimal lines and the staff is friendly! Not as in a one off nice employee but each and every employee has been pleasant. Since we are in covid wave #2, I like seeing that they usually have people sanitizing carts and there is a dispenser next to carts when employees are not around. Great job! read more

He was very rude and he continued to treat everyone else with the same nasty attitude and rude customer service. I go to this Albertsons 3 to 4 times a week. It's in walking distance to my house so it's a neighborhood store. I recently had an encounter with a worker in the bakery department. I love cakes. In particular, I love white cake. After surveying the cake display case, I asked the worker if she had white cake. She said no because they sell mostly chocolate. I then said to her I love white cake. She then referred me to their grab and go single serving cakes which cost $1.99 each. Of course I want to spend $4.00 to get 2 slices of cake when I really wanted a bigger cake. Does that make sense? I think it's a scam to say you can only get white cake single servings and only display chocolate, red velvet and carrot cakes in the display case. Not sure why there are bad reviews for this Albertsons. I don't think I've ever had any sort of complication coming here. This is the go-to spot for my wife and I because of how close it is. Prices aren't too bad although we try to buy bulk ingredients at a warehouse store first. My favorite treat is to grab some of the sushi they make fresh every day. It by far has the best customer service, fast, very kind baristas, Especially Anthony he is very kind, very helpful with any merchandise questions, customer service is amazing and is always talking and greeting his customers. Worst store experience I've ever had in my life staff watched me through the glass window at the seafood counter for about 5 minutes until I finally Walked away , then had the audacity to help an old woman as soon as I left. The management was no help at all and the 1-877 number is just as useless as the people that work there. Albertsons will not get the pleasure of receiving my money any longer. BEWARE!!! DOUBLE CHARGES. I went for the 88 cent blueberry sale but for 2nd day in a row they were sold out and for the second time they said tomorrow it'll be in. But that's not a problem, selling out, it happens and I can understand that but.... They double charged me for items. (deli items which are extremely unlikely to weigh exactly the same and be the same price) When I went back and showed a "manager" (I'm assuming, he was in a button up shirt) he did not look surprised at all, didn't really react much, and just said "OK". He got the refund out of his drawer and glanced up at me to see my reaction. I didn't respond so he handed me the money and I think he may have muttered "sorry" very quietly under his breath, couldn't really hear him. Except for the glance up, he wouldn't make eye contact. That plus the complete lack of surprise, concern, other any other emotion when I said I was double charged makes me suspect that this isn't an uncommon practice. He just reacted immediately like it was something they did all the time. If you shop here, be careful and check your receipts. read more

Terrible service ever! The cashier(her name is Sieraa or Seiraa)was so rude and had terrible manner to customer. I said to her" Excuse me. Can I ask someting ?" while i was waiting in front of Counter. There was no one customer and she didn't noticed I was waiting or she just ignored me. And then She just turned around and scowled at me terribly. Check expiration dates on every single item that you buy from this store. Guaranteed you will find stuff past expiration. I usually find about 30% of the items are over, and after coming home with pork buns that expired *3 months ago*, I'm done. Mid age woman named Ronda that was the cashier had the worst customer service I ever experienced at a grocery store. She was Very degrading too! Kept interrupting me, raised her voice at me, doesn't listen, kept staring me down, just plain disrespect to a loyal customer. I been living close to this market for about 3 years now. My 4-year-old niece was having a dance recital at the La Mirada Theater of Performing Arts. Walked over to Albertsons with only a few minutes to spare to buy her a bouquet of flowers. I found the right bunch and asked the gentleman working in produce, Will, if there was a florist. He kindly told me the florist was out to lunch and asked if he could help me. I told him I wanted my flowers re-wrapped. Will graciously offered to assist me. He took the flowers, re-wrapped them, and put a beautiful purple bow on them. I'm so grateful for Will's kindness and excellent customer service. I walked back to the theater and sat down as the lights were dimming to enjoy the performance. Thank you Will!! read more

Three months ago I started using home delivery service, I am so happy this service once a week I get on line to a very organized shopping experience I choose time and day I want my groceries. It's about 5 miles from my house and there are other markets close by, but we always end up here. My roomie loves this market more than our surrounding ones so we drive all the way out here to shop. They always have my LC & HC on sale, the market is clean, organized, stocked, and well lit, and the staff is friendly. Parking is never a problem, it's in a big shopping center so you can eat something or shop a little bit if you want before or after your trip. It's off 2 major roads so it's easy to find so that's why they get 4 stars. This Albertsons also has a Starbucks inside so that's especially nice when we do weekend daytime grocery shopping. We always start our day with coffee, so the starbucks hits the spot while we are shopping. They have a good selection of alcohol; wine, hard liquor, beer, etc. The produce section also has my french green beans so bravo to them! :) read more

The store is nice enough. It's not the least expensive in the area, but definitely not the most expensive, either. The reason I'm writing a review is because of my checkout experience. I only had a few items, so I went to the express lane. There are two registers with one line. For the express checkout, one nice gentleman was in line, with a basket, and as I walked up, he motioned for me to go in front of him. Almost immediately, the man who was the checker at the far register began berating me for cutting in line. He appeared to be a manager, of sorts, filling in at the registers, but I could be wrong about that. The other person in line came to my defense, and stated he had let me go before him. The cashier offered no apology, just a stern glare. When he finished with his customer, he closed the register and retreated to elsewhere. I don't mind him speaking up about my "cutting in line," even though he wasn't paying attention to the situation he felt compelled to rant about, but I DO mind the insulting, loud, tone of voice he used. I did laugh, however, when he ran off instead of facing me when it was my turn. COWARD! read more

If there ever was an example of why I don't shop at Albertson's, it would be the horrible customer service I experienced tonight. At 6:19 pm, I stopped for stamps (because unbeknownst to me, our local post office lobby now closes at 6:15 pm) - so that I could mail our thank you cards from the wedding last month. There were five check stands open, all with long lines. I went to the Customer Service desk to buy postage - because the sign above the desk said "postage", and I didn't want to stand in the mile-long lines for a quick transaction. A girl behind the counter said that "someone would be right with me", so I patiently waited. A few minutes went by and another gentleman came up and waited with me. After five minutes, I went back up to the girl (who happened to be a checker) and asked if someone was working the front desk or if we were going to continue to wait. She said that she had called someone, but her manager was on a register as well. She proceeded to ask me what I needed and I told her "stamps". She replied that I could get them at any register (which I didn't know, because the sign above Customer Service said "postage"). So I got in line and waited, like everyone else at 6:30 in the evening. Ugh. Is there a reason that Albertson's can't have someone assigned to the desk at the peak hours of the day? I am so pleased to have ordered my ice cream cake from their bakery! I had a ordered at noon and they told me I can pick it up by 4pm the dame day, which worked out perfectly and It was ready by the time I got there. I had put all faith in their cake decorating by telling them that they can create any design on it ( because I was not celebrating anything special). It was delicious and everyone loved it.
