However, they should address the problem of not having enough checks stands open, especially when there is an influx of customers waiting to pay in a long line as many as 8 to 10 people. We have personally experienced this on more than one occasion when early evening, the quick check out was closed with two checkers open whether you have one item or a cart full, you were stuck in a long line to pay. I asked the cashier if they could open another line and she said that they were the only two checkers available. This was last Thursday evening at approximately 7:30 PM. I love the store, but this is a bad Customer Service practice of not having enough check stands open when there are a lot of customers. Northgate's insufficient cashiers is putting a bad mark on otherwise great community market.
