Nice clean huge and air conditioning worked great. A lovely stop in at the deli on a hot day to pick up tortillas, donuts, olive salad and broccoli salad. The deli helped me decide what to do. I recently had an experience at Tom Thumb Pharmacy that left me disappointed. While some of the staff are friendly and helpful, my interaction with Vivian was not pleasant. Her attitude toward both employees and customers came across as unprofessional and unwelcoming, which made the visit uncomfortable. Additionally, I purchased flowers there, and unfortunately they began falling apart shortly after I brought them home, which was disappointing in terms of quality. This has happened every time - will be getting flowers elsewhere in the future. read more

I've been using the grocery pickup service for some time now and have never had a huge problem. sometimes my avocados or tomatoes were gross so I'd get a small refund for those. well I recently placed a pickup order that has caused me to take my business elsewhere. my pickup order was missing a TON of items, and I received some items that weren't mine. I submitted a refund request which came to $75. I spoke to their customer service on the phone, and the woman was very kind. she explained that the request would be reviewed and they would get back to me. well, they denied my request. $75 that they refuse to give back when they're the ones that f****d up. I'm livid and will be finding somewhere else to shop. unbelievable. word of advice - check your bags before you leave the lot to make sure they gave you everything. read more

I can't explain why the customer service is so much worse at the Colleyville location than the Hurst store, but it's a real bummer. I think they have done a good job converting this old Albertsons into a Tom Thumb. I was a regular when it was located on Hall Johnson, and was quite disappointed when they moved farther south, though I understand the necessity with rising rent costs. I go out of my way to come to this location, as I do not care for the Grapevine store that is closer to me. This one is superior, hands down. It is large, clean, and well stocked. The area is super busy, but I like that I can hit up so many of my regular stops all at once. Being over by the Target, Ulta, Total Wine, and the BEST Lowes in the metroplex, is a blessing and a curse. Harder to just pop into the store, easier when you are making all the rounds. I see a few familiar faces from the Hall Johnson location, and it is kept up well. Tom thumb is great when it comes to sales, and they consistently have good produce. The people at the meat counter are friendly and helpful, and buggies are constantly retrieved from the parking lot. I can always find a smaller one, when I come in and I never see them just strewn around the parking lot. They only have one side set up to enter and exit, and use the other end exclusively for curbside pickup, so one side of the parking lot is utilized and can get congested. But I come here often, and it is relatively easy to get in and out. read more

The layout of the store is easy to navigate and the prices are really good, but more importantly, is close enough for convenience and far enough from the busy traffic. Typically love the store and the deli section! There is a middle aged guy who is always so helpful who helps with my seafood in the back. Today was a different story. Older woman with glasses tries to charge me extra for something I didn't order and then asked someone else to come and skim my salmon because that was my request. The young by then adds that I'm being charged more because I'm not getting the whole piece of fish but that makes no sense because you charge me by the pound. So I'm extremely irritated and feel like the workers are lazy and trying to up charge me because they don't want to skin the salmon. read more

I got to the store at 7pm and went to the customer service desk to simply break a few 100s (like I've done countless times for customers when I worked here) and the manager was nowhere to be found. I already knew they were in the money room counting out all the registers, except it was an hour before they should've started it. This is usually what managers do if they are lazy and are trying to do the least amount of work possible by sitting in this room and acting like counting is hard for 4 hours. I asked someone who was actually working to get the manager, and out comes the most manager looking lady ever and I already knew she was about to be a vitch. I asked to break two 100s into 20s, and instead of marking the bills with the counterfeit marker and giving me cash, she just says "we dont have any money" and walks back in her room to go play with all the money from the registers. I feel like it's a prerequisite for a Safeway to hire the most miserable managers who only think about themselves. I can already tell she constantly gets the timesheets messed up and blames the employees who're getting paid $13 an hour to support their living. If you, as a customer, see a lady who is obese with a ponytail and glasses, she will not help you in any way and you might as well go to a different store. read more

I grew up right by this store and remember going the the grand opening in the early 90's. This place was amazing at the time . I'm sure it has made Mr. Albertsons a lot of money . They used to have everything including video rental , one hour photo , a bank ( might have been added later ). Several years later Tom Thumb opens a huge store on Hall Johnson and Winn Dixie across the highway and super target across the street . You would think this would be the end of this store. Wrong! Albertsons on glade just refuses to close. They even bought the parent company of Tom Thumb and reopened it down the street too . My last visit ( first one in 5 years ) was a pleasant surprise. The store was very well merchandise and extremely clean . They had a great wine selection and even had cowboys wine . I will be back and I'm glad this location has made it . read more

First Sunday to purchase beer before noon but this store was completely unprepared. Not only did their self check out not authorize the purchase, but one of the employees wanted to argue that the time was still noon. Albertsons! I love it here because they have a great selection of flowers and seasonal decor. Right when you walk in on the right you'll see it all, always makes me feel cheery. Right now it's valentines galore, of course, but all year long it's something fun. I also think you get in and out of this location pretty quickly. It doesn't take forever even when it's crowded, they always seem well staffed. If you have a question or need to check out or whatever, there's typically someone nearby to help. This is a good store with good employees except for deli meat and cheese area. I've been a customer there since it opened. But the stacking of huge crappy, flimsy displays crowding the area in front of the check outs is unbelievable. I've actually seen customers accidentally knock into them, knock them over more than once. You cannot even see which checkers are open. If one calls you to their register you can't even see which one. It looks like the Dollar Store up front. And that's the first thing you see when you come in. Crap cluttering and creating a bottleneck at the only entrance to the store. (They closed the other entrance 3 years ago "because of Covid" ) So every person entering and exiting is funneled through a congested, cluttered mess. You sometimes have to stand and wait in line to get out with your cart of groceries. Occasionally they will clear the cheap prolific displays from the area in front of the checkouts. But don't get excited. It's temporary. They do it when corporate is coming. As soon as that visit is over they pile the crap back up there. read more

Albertsons, Tom Thumb, and Market Street are all owned by Cerberus Capital Management, in fact they own many more grocery brands, but for simplicity's sake I have only mentioned ones that exist in the greater Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. This specific location desperately needs a remodel, and was already due for one preacquisition (2006). The location is ideal, especially with the advent of the Glade Parks development across the street. However, the store's condition and design are clearly out of place given the relatively high household incomes in the surrounding area, and the decor of other retailers nearby. These stores tend to be fresh, thoughtfully appointed, and inviting by comparison. The selection and presentation are actually much worse here than at their sister store, the Tom Thumb off Hall Johnson road. Which makes little sense. I will often find totally expired items here, sometimes marked with a miserly 50% discount tag. While it's common for grocers to mark down items that are nearing expiration, it's bemusing and unusual to see marked down items far enough past expiry to make them worthless. This practice also seems feckless, and also adds to the dingy ambiance. The selection is sparse in many respects. I once came here for baby spinach, and there was none to be had, only overpriced bunched mature spinach. Also they didn't have broccolini, which is by no means an exotic vegetable. The meat and seafood are indistinctive. The only good thing I could say about that department is that they occasionally carry USDA Prime beef, despite not knowing exactly how to craft steaks from it. Upon visiting the Yelp page for this store, I noticed that the last health inspection (Dated September 2019) was a 5 out of 100. I am not sure if that's a mistake, or an unadulterated score. If true, that's absolutely unacceptable. Hopefully management will take that as an opportunity to remedy some of this store's ailments, but I am doubtful unless there are further changes to the ownership structure. read more

So I went to buy a gift card for my mom's birthday, and took it to the register to check out. The older woman cashier was clearly too busy doing nothing that all she could say was "I can't do that." Then she got irritated that I asked what I was supposed to do then. She finally growled to go to customer service, and vaguely pointed away somewhere. Another employee pointed me "that way," which was the deli. I finally gave up and left. The disappointing thing is that the Albertson's on East Broadway in Tucson has super nice staff. Finally went to the Bedford Kroger, which isn't as fancy a store, but the people there are great. read more

Apparent Mask-Free Zone? My last two trips there I've seen people without masks. Not just below their noses, not pulled down, not off to the side because they're taking a sip of water; we're talking zip, zero, nada. I don't know why these idiots have chosen to descend upon this particular location, but this Albertson's seems the place to be for people of this ilk. From what I can gather, other than making an announcement there's little the manager and staff can do about it. I didn't find this particular store to be that well stocked with everything I was looking for and the prices don't seem to be as low as I remember back when they took their store rewards card. Usually, this store is pretty good with having everything, but lately there is an employee being "political" in their clothes-mask issue. Now is a bad time to be wearing leftist "terrorist" masks, shirts, pins, and jackets with anti-American evil "messages" on them. Quite a few folks find the clothing offensive and non-professional. We shoppers understand that they are expressing their foolish beliefs, but during these rotton times, and having to pay outrageous prices, the employees could dress a little more "professional". Speaking of unprofessional. The p-a system is not a scream fest. Getting on the p-a and yelling at a fellow unprofessional and then slamming down the phone is downright irritating. This store has an employee professionalism issue, the pharmacy has an employee that needs to retire. Prior to their renovation last month, I did not like this Albertson's at all. Other than a relatively expansive wine section and good deals on cheap meats, the store really did not have anything special to offer. With so many other great grocery stores in the area, there was really no reason to go here. When the Tom Thumb around the corner shut down, however, I was forced to go to this Albertson's for a last minute item, and I'm so glad about it! This store now has so much more to offer than I could ever have imagined. The deli section is much better (and now offers Primo Taglio!), the bakery section is fabulous, and the wine/beer section was expanded so that it offers the largest selection in the area (other than liquor stores, of course). The check out area was updated, and they added a Starbucks. I am glad to see that this Albertson's location has stepped up their game, and I will definitely be back. read more

They have totally renovated this store! There is now a Starbucks inside, a huge deli area with delicious freshly made soups, an expanded produce area with organic products, tons of fresh cut up fruit for seriously low prices, and a case for my favorite GT's kombucha! They are constantly doing 10 for $10 sales on protein bars and snacks. The cashiers are quick and so friendly. I love coming here during my lunch break and so excited they have upgraded things a bit. She called twice for help nobody came. I stood in line for 15 minutes people were lined up behind me they were getting frustrated as well. This is a great store! The people are friendly and helpful, and it is well-managed. I've been grocery shopping at this location a few times and am overall really satisfied. Nothing was consistently expired or anything gross like that. They sell good brands for a cheaper price overall than Tom Thumb, Super Target, and Kroger, and this location has the best service on this side of the metroplex than any other Albertsons. I love the fresh tortillas from their bakery. Literally no other non-specialty grocery store listed above in HEB sells their own brand fresh tortillas. The rolls and bread from there is great too. When I need certain items, I still shop here, but I can't get my entire grocery list here because they do not provide a lot of specialty health foods. Still, check it out yourself. There are some items I discovered here that are hard to find other places, like boxed coconut milk. Very happy with the freshness of the produce department, meat, bakery and overall experience in this store! Stop by and see! P.S. I forgot... there is a BEER CAVERN in the middle of the store! As in, you can walk through the refrigerated beer section because you are inside of it. So many selections! So crisp!! At least go for the beer cavern. read more

Had a couple of minutes to kill while waiting for a neighboring business to open, and I am a sucker for wandering though a grocery store. I have bashed Albertsons for their pricing and for looking like they are closed for business. Everyday pricing is no better here than any other Albertsons location of course, but the store was clean and had better décor and design (wood flooring for example) than some other locations. The important part was finding a good sale on paper towels and some reduced for quick sale bakery stuff. Checkout was quick and polite. read more

Albertsons is not your typical Wedding Vendor but I wanted to compliment them on their responsiveness and service. I used the Albertsons in Colleyville (4000 Glade Road) to purchase and deliver the beverages served at my son's wedding on 5/5/2018 at Delaney Vineyards in Grapevine, TX. I want to specifically thank Scott Lakey, our contact for the purchase and delivery. He was so helpful, with the selection of the beverages; volunteered and made sure everything was "cold" before delivery; and ensured timely delivery at the venue. Every time I called to check on the delivery, he assured me all would be well - and he made good on his promise without any drama. I saved money by ordering the beverages at Albertsons instead of using the caterers, but I was worried I'd have to micro-manage the delivery of the right items to the right place and at the agreed time - Scott made it so easy. Kudos and thanks for his help. The quality of the service made the difference. read more

I have to buy alot of gluten free items and this Albertsons has started carrying one brand of gluten free beer (Bard's) and the gluten free pizza crusts I like!
