Ok. So in Boise, the birthplace of Albertsons...if you live here, you know they are literally on like every corner throughout the city. If they aren't on a corner by you...give it time. They WILL be coming to your neighborhood Haha! Talk about a MONOPOLY! I used to refuse to shop at Albertsons. Their prices are INSAAAAANE! compared to other stores. Granted, with their monopoly, we don't have many to compare it to lol. Albertsons, in Boise, is the Google, the Amazon..of grocery stores. Meaning, if you try to move in and start another store...Albertsons will NOT allow that to happen. That being said...I used to refuse to go here because of the prices. Most items are $1 or more compared to other stores Albertsons has incredible sales. You just have to pay super close attention or you'll miss out and end up spending WAY more than you should. I live in NW Boise and there is an Albertsons within walking distance. It's a smaller, older one with recent updates/renovations. I started going here because of how incredibly close it is to my house. It's not my "main store" but I will go if I forgot something at Fred Meyers or Whole Foods, Trader Joes. The staff at this particular store, State and Gary Lane...are all super nice. The front end manager chick, younger woman...she could use a massive attitude adjustment...especially since she is a front end manager. But there is Daniel, a cashier, incredibly nice guy. Can be a tad intense some times, but he is a great guy. Very friendly. The rest of the ones I've interacted with have always been above and beyond sweet and helpful. Theres a blonde girl who works in the meat department....HANDS DOWN...the sweetest human in there. She has yet to be mean haha! Every time I go in there, I'm blown away by how incredibly nice she is. Like a breathe of fresh air. We need more ppl like her in this world. Wish I knew her name. I apologize for not supplying that bit of info. I like this store because it's small. It's not a massive one by any means. Gives a nice homey feel to it. Reminds me of grocery stores from when I was a wee boy. It's the only Albertsons I go to. If you're in the area, you know what I'm talking about. This review has been a bit of a ramble, huh? Haha! Summed up: *Albertsons is CRAZY expensive * Albertsons has amazing sales. * this store in particular is a great one. Small, homey, and the staff is a delightful group of people. Thanks for reading! Cheers!

Terrible customer service- employees had no idea where products were located in their own store. Prices are still outrageous.

I think the time before that was to grab a sandwich from the deli for my husband. Conveniently, my hubby wanted a snack so I stopped in to see what I could grab for him. I saw a gentleman pull some fresh pepperoni pizza out of the brick oven. That was my sign to grab my husband a couple slices, he loves pizza. The gentleman helped a couple guests ahead of me. He greeted me but realized he was out of gloves. So, he went to the back to grab some and the gal who was starting the dough stepped in to help me. She asked if i wanted some pizza and of course I said yes. Looking at the pizza, there was no real rhyme or reason to how they sliced it. All the slices were different in size. Not one is the same. One huge slice, many smaller slices and some slivers. I asked her if 2 smaller slices count as 1. She said yes. I wanted a total of 2 big slices. I was in the middle of asking her and was cut off cause I didn't answer her if I wanted pepperoni or Hawaiian. I was literally trying to talk her that I wanted a total of 4 slices to make 2 big slices and was shut down. I took my 2 small slices and went on my merry way. I honestly didn't even want to take the slices I had. The whole interaction with her was tasteless. Why would I want to bring this to my husband? I have never worked in a Deli type job but I have worked in the food industry. Today's interaction with the gal was such a turn off. Maybe she should stick with making the pizzas instead of helping customers. What a complete waste of time coming in and grabbing 2 uneven slices of pizza. I haven't been in for a long time before this and I don't see myself coming back anytime soon. I'd rather buy a full pizza and have my husband toss the other half of the uneaten pizza than be treated like how I did today.

No greeting and sort of seemed like they didnt want to be there. Not rude though. Food is delicious. Falafel were flavorful, crispy, but not dry. The hummus was almost smooth.
