The store is going through a remodel that doesn't affect your shopping. Picked out a couple nice top sirloin's from the butcher case I then made it over to produce and picked up a russet potato for myself and a sweet potato for my wife. and a loaf of Pyrenees French bread. The store looked great stocked ready for the Sunday afternoon rush. The staff was friendly as always. My trip only took me 25 minutes Albertsons had everything I was looking for. read more

ALBERTSONS is only about half a mile from my house, so I shop here for dinner three times a week, every week.$22 bucks later, used to be $16 last year.. uhhhh inflation sucks.... Unfortunately, one thing never changes: this store operates like it's still 2010. Apparently self-checkout is only for those fortunate enough to live in 2026, because this location consistently has only two cashiers running ten registers no matter what time of day I come in. They don't even have the courtesy to their customer to offer a quick checkout lane for 10 items or less. The result is periods of unnecessary waiting for customers who simply want to pay and go home. I don't need my bags packed. I don't need a conversation. I need to check out and get home with my groceries. Judging by the other reviews, this isn't a new problem, and it doesn't appear to be improving, for years now. 2 out of 5 stars for wasting my time every time. read more

Great grocery store and around the corner from my brother's house. The store itself is very clean and organized. They have a great selection of items. The staff would attended me toda was great she was very friendly and made conversation during checkout. The prices were on the high end. I paid 25 dollars for a 12 pack of beer. Had a photo cake of my daughter made here and I paid around $50 for it. I called before I picked it up and was told it was ready, when I got there I was told it was not ready yet (no problem). I waited about 10 minutes for this cake and I when I got it I could not believe what I was seeing. I had a terrible shopping experience today. I bought some discounted pet food, and when I reached the checkout counter, I immediately sensed that I might have overpaid. Sure enough, upon checking my shopping list, the receipt showed that I was charged the full original price with no discount reflected at all. I had to go back, take photos of the discounted items, then return them to the counter to verify with cashier Salina. She complained that my photos were unclear and kept asking me about the product prices--What terrible service work . something she should already know as part of her job or her team's responsibility. Your shop put discount tags on the products, yet your POS system still shows the original price. That's clearly your own oversight. But instead of double-checking, she just let customers pay full price. If customers don't notice this scam, they simply lose out; if they do, they have to come back and request a refund. At that point, you'll see how awful the cashier's attitude becomes--she treats it as your fault for coming in to ask for a refund, as though you're causing trouble. Fortunately, I caught their trick and asked for a refund. Unfortunately, the actual amount refunded was far less than what I deserved. This has happened more than once, always during sale periods. The dishonest practices involved are something everyone should be aware of. read more

I usually go to Albertsons and it's a bit pricy but always clean and well organized but I don't know if they were having a bad day but I picked up some fried chicken from the deli and it horrible. It had a horrible smell to it and tasted even worse than it smelled. I never had any issues at any other location but this one has to be the worst experience yet. read more

I have to give Albertsons off of Rosedale and Allen an updated review because it really seems like they are turning things around. I still cant say they have come a long way on their produce but it's an improvement. When it comes to the manner in which the employess it seems like these local grocery stores are really trying to go the extra mile with customer service. Sadly we would go there even if they weren't super nice just because they are down the street and it is easy, but when it comes to choices I would choose this location due to our last couple visits. From the meat counter, fish counter, liquor area and in between everyone working in those areas they were all very courteous and they all asked if we were finding everything we were looking for. This is our home grocery store. We come here a couple times a week. They always have fresh produce and the store is very clean. They also have a Starbucks and a Wells Fargo Bank in this location. The workers there are very friendly and make you feel welcome. Kaci is one of the managers/cashiers there and she is great!! She is always super friendly no matter what time you come into the store. They don't have the cheapest prices in town, but you get good quality for what you pay. read more

I shop for instacart and do over 40 orders a month at this store. About a month ago I had a bad experience and was treated horribly by the managers. I wrote a review on Google and got a reply apologizing and telling me to reach out to discuss further if I needed to. I decided to let the incident drop because I wasn't trying to get anyone in trouble and it wasn't likely to occur again. Two weeks went by and I shopped 19 orders and then one evening I was shopping with my 2 year old and got approached by the same manager that treated me so horribly and was told I'm no longer allowed to shop there! I did not raise my voice or call anyone a name or do anything wrong when I was upset at the store! I certainly did nothing to be banned! It's retaliation for the review! I'm a single mom and now I'm not allowed to go into the store I shop at every day to earn money! This is the most unprofessional store. The managers never smile or interact in a friendly manner with the customers. They had started putting back a basket full of groceries I shopped for an order after I told two people I needed a separate basket to complete my order. They said ok. When I found out my basket was gone, I was upset because they were not trying to fix the problem. They were telling me that my cold food was out too long and judging the way I shopped. One manager gets in front of me and shows me ice cream sandwiches that were soft and asks if i wanted to buy them. I told her those were not mine and she yells that they were in my basket! I told her to watch the camera because i didn't go down the ice cream aisle until the second basket. Im not stupid and didn't have ice cream in that cart. I shouldn't have had to be defending my shopping cart! I was paying for everything so i don't understand why they were trying to justify putting my items back instead of trying to correct the situation!?Those groceries can be out for 2 hours before there is any food safety issue not the 25 minutes it took me to complete my order! The ladies were rude and blaming me when all that was needed was for my groceries to be returned. I spent an hour and a half shopping and then they had no idea what they had put back! Which meant my customers would be missing items and blame me. I told 2 separate employees I needed a second basket and both said I was fine leaving my cart where I did. All I wanted to do was complete my order and they were hostile and telling me I did something wrong! It was unbelievable. After I paid, nobody helped me take both baskets to my car. And they sat there speaking loudly so I could hear them putting me down. Again I wrote about it on Google and then just decided to let it go. So then for me to be banned 2 weeks later is unbelievable. These people do not care about customer service. I was told I can no longer shop there because I was rude to the employees. I never spoke with an employee. I interacted with the two managers. I did ask the girl that put the stuff back what she put back and she said she didn't remember. I said nothing in response. To sum things up...I had a terrible experience, was treated horribly, wrote a review about my experience to which the owner responded saying they cared and didn't want me to be upset, and then 2 weeks later they ban me from shopping there. Today, ALBERTSONS: 3:40pm Store 377. 13045 Highway 58, Bakersfield, CA 93312 Corner Rosedale and Allen. The VAST majority of people will ask for their cold cuts to be sliced thin. No one really likes trying to rip slabs of cold cuts or cheese with bare teeth while eating a sandwich. And there's a HUGE difference in how that product is laid out. We were trained by Boar's Head back in Brooklyn, how to properly slice cold cuts and cheese. Apparently the rocket scientist at Albertson's an hour ago has not been the recipient of that training. OR ANY TRAINING in how to use a slicer properly and STACK slices! This is the God-awful mess we just opened at home. The sheer level of incompetence is staggering. Uncaring, untrained minions tossed behind a counter to operate machinery with spinning blades that are unforgiving if not tended properly. And Albertsons is certainly not the only offender. What a MESS this package is. Yes, it was technically "sliced"...but right NOW it's essentially a 1-pound SLAB of cheese. Unbelievable. read more

Wow. We went to this store because we just moved from Vegas and it's similar to Smiths. (Same company) This is the most expensive grocery store I've ever been to. Besides Whole Foods. I couldn't believe the prices. Yes, same products and produce. But no sale bins for 99c veggies, no sale rack for breads, and just no sales period. Lol. Got spoiled in Vegas. We won't be back here. Albertsons, if you want to be charitable, then great. But, why do you force your employees to beg for money on your behalf? I give at my church, at the office and buy friend's Girl Scout cookies. I've pretty much stopped going to Albertson's. The last time I went was several months ago and it seems every time I go to the deli there are 5 people behind the counter 4 of them are talking to each other while one waits on the 10 people waiting in line to get deli meats and fried chicken. To me I also noticed a increase in their prices as well. So now go to Save-Mart, Walmart Neighborhood Market on Calloway and Von's on Hageman. It's about 15 minutes further from the house but well worth the drive. I have a feeling now that Smart-N-Final express is open they will loose even more customers. read more

When I dialed 3 for the bakery, the system did not send me to the bakery, so when I asked whoever answered the phone it they do cupcakes (apparently not all places do), she was confused. So I realize it's not the bakery, she transfers me over. After being on hold for 3-4 minutes, she asks if anyone has answered yet, and I reply "no". About a minute later, someone new answers the phone. Me: "does Albertsons make cupcakes?" Bakery guy: "yes, we do cupcakes" Me: "are you guys able to make 36 cupcakes for this Saturday?" Guy: "yes, can I get your name?" Me: "well wait, how much will 36 cupcakes cost?" Guy: "I don't know that." Me: "you don't know the price of something you sell?" So thrilled to visit this store yesterday and found that they are stocking POG (passion/orange/guava) juice. I've been unable to find it on any store shelves locally for some time. After a recent visit to Hawaii and consuming POG daily, the thought of returning home and being POG less was frustrating. Today my morning was like a brief trip to the islands with the taste and smell of this spectacular juice. Please keep it in stock! I'd suggest the store do a taste demonstration for those unfamiliar with this product. Once you try it, you'll be convinced that this is a product to be added to your daily diet. read more

The people are always offering to help me (is it that obvious that I'm lost- haha), the place is always in good clean order, and I love the special deals that they offer weekly. My favorite is the big rack in the back of the store- holding all the clearance bakery items. I often let my kids pick out bagels or dessert items since I know how fast they will disappear Also their cakes are so delicious and they make incredible designs too! read more
