The people are always offering to help me (is it that obvious that I'm lost- haha), the place is always in good clean order, and I love the special deals that they offer weekly. My favorite is the big rack in the back of the store- holding all the clearance bakery items. I read that last review and I would just chalk it up to this pandemic. They were really touchy at first, and they still won't let you come to the checkout till you're called up. One cashier ticked me off once, but I should have read the well placed sign and not approached her register till it was cleaned. This is all new to them too and I'm sure they're a bit stressed. think they do a better job of handling this new protocol than any other market. It's my favorite supermarket. I went in today like I always do to get baby food for my daughter. Last month, I got her one she really liked so I went back today to get more and last time they accepted that same one with WIC. Today for some reason, the lady said that it wouldn't take it. I know it wasn't her fault but the way she spoke to me and how annoyed she looked that I grabbed "the wrong ones" was uncalled for. She said, in a rude tone, that I "got lucky" last time since I told her it worked last time. She went ahead and asked me if I've taken a class in what to get with wic. My baby is 8 months. I know what to get. Is it my fault last time it worked but today it didn't? SUPER rude and uncalled for. I always go to this specific location because of the nice service but this time it was horrible. I'm upset I didn't get her name but I will stop by again and see if I can catch her name. This place can definitely use more customer service oriented cashiers/checkout clerks. This is my neighborhood store so I've been there enough times and they make me feel undeserving of them. Instead of a pleasant greet or a simple hello, most of them act like they are doing you a favor. Store itself is good, everyone knows their products and produce are overpriced but you get great quality. Tonight my boyfriend and I were purchasing food items for dinner with 1 bottle of wine. We shop at this Albertsons often but not too often since it's so pricey. The clerk checked my boyfriends id as she should since that's protocol and since he was purchasing the wine. But then she proceeds to question me for my id as well. I thought she was joking. I'm 30 years old. I thought by her demanding to see my id was very rude and uncalled for. I have never had that happen to me before when I wasn't the one purchasing the wine. There's no reason to ask for my id when I made no mention of drinking the wine. I will not shop at this store ever again. It's pricey and the workers are rude. I felt borderline harassed. read more

This is an okay location. It is Albertsons, and they are all pretty much the same. If I am in a hurry and I need something that I can only get at a grocery store, then I come here. I like to use their self checkout. It's fast and convenient. Their prices are higher than our favorite groceries so we do not shop here as often. read more

I live only a mile away so this is the place my family always go if we are in need of groceries and they always have what we need so we don't have to drive 10 minutes down Rosedale highway to Walmart for food. Believe it or not this is the best place to get fresh fish in town.On any given day they might have Halibut,Tuna,Shark,or Swordfish.Just make sure you ask to smell before you buy because the prices are high and sometimes the fish sits around because of it. read more

My go to grocery store for almost 10 years now. Friendly staff, always clean, fresh fruit and veggies

First off, I went grocery shopping with my young daughter. We bought nothing but dairy and fresh produce items. The cashier was beyond rude to us. I kept thinking she thought I was going to pay with food stamps or something by the way she treated us (the look on her face when I paid cash -_- ). I let her know that we were being overcharged for a few items and she gave an attitude about going to price check. After paying the RIGHT price, I get home to discover that 8 of the 8 dairy items we had purchased were anywhere from 2 -4 weeks expired. My kids are quick to grab a snack so thank God I noticed before they are anything. I called the store and they offered an exchange for the items but I'm so upset by this whole thing that they can just keep their nasty products. I will shop somewhere else instead! I didn't think checking the dates on the yogurts my daughter grabbed off of the front faced rack was that necessary considering it's their job to check them regularly smh read more

If you're looking for an Albertson's with great customer service and respectful for people DON'T go to the Albertson's on Rosedale Highway. I went in last night around 8:30 pm to pick up a couple of things because my family is visiting for Christmas, it's important to mention that I just returned from Afghanistan on military deployment. I asked the lady was there a new California state law that says that you have to pay for plastic bags and paper bags unaware of that fact. the manager came out and said I can always take my groceries out and stick them in my pocket. It was a disrespectful comment to a guy that hasn't had time to Decompress back to live in California. but like I said if you're looking for great customer service this isn't the place to go. read more

Went shopping tonight.. there was a product i needed that they didnt have so i asked for a raincheck, after being sent to customer service, finally the cashier comes back up to me and informs me that they arent giving rainchecks.. im a little confused.. arent the rainchecks for when an item is outta stock, you get the raincheck to come back and get it. So if your out of an item, how do you not give out rainchecks. Was told to keep coming back and checking for them to restock, im a single mom with 3 kids i dont have time or the gas to come back everyday and check to see when they restock. read more

The bakery at this location is amazing. They made a naked cake for my daughter's 16th birthday and the price was half of the cost of all the boutique bakeries in town and it was a great tasting cake and looked amazing. They have won my business with their great product and great service. read more

This store is close to my house and It's good for quick runs if I don't want to drive far.The staff is nice and friendly, but I keep getting followed by the security in there.My mom also has the same problem and she's been going there for three years now.I don't know if its because we're black or my purse looks like a thief's purse or if my reusable bags is threatning but I'm fed up with it and I'm about ready to take action.So if you're of different color watch the security follow you all the way up to the check out line. read more

I shop at all three Albertsons close to where I live. They all do things different in the meat section. Today I was buying a pack of buy one get one free. At the other two Albertsons they let you mix and match. I was checking out and was told I couldn't mix and match chicken with beef. It doesn't say that any where. She said she would go back and get either meat or chicken. I decided not to get either. I will goto Walmart and get what I need. It's cheaper anyway. She had the nagger return the items. As I was leaving I spoke to the manager and told her what happened. She said that I could mix and match. The little things are the things that piss me off. I will shop else where. read more

I love this Albertsons. I been shopping there since 2000. And checker Rosa is amazing she calls you by name, and when I check out and she asks... did you find everything ok and if I forgot something she will shay no problem and send the courtesy clerk to get it for you. And she always ask how is your family I have not seen them here lately. She really is amazing and the #1 clerk there. Also at the meat department Liz is always so happy to help you and I love when she says have an Amazing Day it puts a smile on me and my families face.
