Review is for their app ordering feature and meat department only. It's the first time I've used the app to order in advance for pickup but was disappointed. I ordered a rib roast for pickup and was charged for a 21.75 lb roast. When the employee brought it to my car, the vacuum seal on the package was loose and the meat looked brownish-green. I asked if it looked safe, and even he said it looked strange. He helped me put it into a cart and suggested I take it to the meat department for an exchange. When I got there, the meat department first questioned how long I'd had it for the seal to be "loose," then tried convincing me that it was normal and that the packaging never comes fully vacuum sealed. I told them I simply wanted an exchange. The employee seemed irritated but eventually brought out another roast. Then he peeled the sticker off the original roast and placed it onto the new one. I asked whether it was the same weight because the replacement was clearly much smaller. He insisted it was "the exact same thing" since it had the same sticker on it, and told me that if I didn't like it, I could come back tomorrow because customer service was not open today. Got home and the scale reads 19.5lbs (2.25lb over charged). Disappointed in the experience. read more

Always high prices. Extremely deceptive shelf price tags. They always "Claim" sale prices on items, and then they always place the highest price item close to the shelf tag. If it's a sale price on beef, then they probably won't even have it. Prices are usually a dollar or more per item than most other stores. Today they had a shelf tag for Wheat Bread for $1.99. But it rang up at $5.29. Turns out they put the expensive bread next to the tag and the sale bread several loaves away and on a different shelf. These guys are cheating scum!! read more

Review is just for the drive up and park for pick up I believe that when you don't roam around the market you will buy less things and only grab what you need. I find this to be true for myself and I was so happy the continue to have the pick up service. You place your order on the APP or online and schedule when you would like to pick up. You would have to spend over $30 to not pay for the pick up. They have designated parking spots for the pick up and sometimes they are all taken by people who aren't picking up and that usually causes the pain when picking up. This department store is " sinister". There is no decoration, all the toiletries are locked and the attendants are slow to come to open the shelves. Everything feels like a large warehouse and it does not give you any incentive to stroll and shop. The employees at the self check out are not particularly courteous and they look at you suspiciously. If you are missing a specific item, and you know it is available there then maybe you can come by but otherwise, life being short, do yourself a favor and shop where things are well lit, nice employees and plenty of nicely displayed items. read more

So where do I start? Who ever does purchasing/inventory should probably be let go. I live near by, every single time I come to this location they're out of something. Very disappointed with my experience ordering a cake from this bakery. I placed my order, paid in full, and arrived the next day expecting to pick it up for an event. When I got there I was told to wait for a manager to come and then I was told by said manager that although the order had been entered, no one had actually made the cake. I was offered a refund or a free cake, but the cake I had ordered was for a large amount of people and the ones they had were small ones. What made it even more frustrating was being told that this has happened before, apparently this was the THIRD time. Mistakes happen, but better communication and organization are needed to prevent customers from being put in this situation. read more

WORST Customer Service Experience ever! CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS for prices before leaving the store as both my friend and I were OVERCHARGE BY $5 EACH on different items. Manager on duty (Mike) doesn't care about customers, tries to make up excuses or flat out lies to fit his reason needed and doesn't honor the company's own policies posted above registers in store. Mistakes happen, I understand that. Most employees and businesses own up to the mistake, apologizing for the inconvenience, honor their own company policies and correct it to make it right with the customers. That is what EXCEPTIONAL customer service "would have" looked like today. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE, FRUSTRATION AND TIME BY GOING TO RALPHS ON HUNTINGTON AND GARFIELD. Details if it makes any difference: 1) My purchase included one of the Kingsford Entrées 16 oz to give it a try, marked with the $5 Managers Special tag in the Meat Dept. I grabbed 1 of the 3 varieties with this tag. Upon reviewing receipt, I noticed it rang up at $9.99. When I pointed this out to the cashier, she had another employee take the item to check pricing in the Meat Dept. He came back, brought the tag showing it was marked $5. She did a refund on my credit card for the $4.99 difference. 2) My friend's purchase included a bottle of Absolute that was on sale. He is a senior with disabilities, visually impaired and I drive him to the markets to help with his shopping. When he asked me to review his receipt, I told him he was charged at $24.99 for the Absolute instead of the sale price of $19.99 in the ad. He told the cashier, showed her his phone with the coupon loaded to his card in the App, she looked at the ad, didn't understand why the coupon did not apply and proceeded to refund the $5 difference. 3) While waiting for the cashier to correct my friend's purchase, I look up and see their huge signs hanging from the ceiling notifying customers about their Price Accuracy Guarantee. So when the cashier finishes the refund on my friend's order, I decided to ask her about their policy. Since my item was $5, shouldn't my item be free? Response: I need to take that up with the manager at the next register. So when he (Mike) finished the order he was working on, I asked him about the item I was overcharged. THIS IS WHERE MIKE TRIES TO COME UP WITH ANY EXCUSE HE CAN THINK OF: a) points to the ad showing it was a Friday ONLY sale price - today is Sunday with $5 Manager's Special tags throughout the store; b) points to the ad showing the $5 only applies to the 1 item pictured - ad states "ENTREES" and multiple varieties had the $5 Manager's Special tag; c) he personally needs to check the shelf and speak with the Meat Dept to verify price - since he was working on ringing up another customer's order, I checked the shelf and spoke with Meat Dept employee (tag on shelf was already removed by employee, spoke with Meat Dept employee to ask about the tag and asked for Meat Dept manager, employee came back and said the manager Chris said yes the price is $5). 4) EXREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! This is when customer service turned from bad to WORST. After Mike himself came back from the Meat Dept, he said the price is $5 and I can have it for the $5 I already paid. So I asked him about the Price Accuracy Guarantee signs posted above the registers. Wouldn't this apply? He said NO, it only applies to sale items in the weekly ad. SO ANOTHER EXCUSE OR LIE??? I didn't need the item, so I told him I would like to return it and a refund. Whether it was one item or 100 items purchased, I would return the entire order for this type of poor customer service. I have returned entire orders before when the employee/management won't follow their own policies, provides terrible customer service and actively shows they DO NOT VALUE THEIR CUSTOMERS. Since the Store Director (Manager), was not in and the employees would not call anyone to escalate the issue, I called corporate to file a complaint for the poor customer service and the store/manager not following their own policy. Now awaiting return call. YOU MIGHT ASK??? Why do stores have these types "Price Accuracy Guarantee" policies and signs posted in their stores? When did stores start such policies? BECAUSE THEY WERE FOUND TO BE IN VIOLATION OF OVERCHARGING CUSTOMERS AND FINED! They are not posting and giving you refunds out of the goodness of their heart. They were made to and agreed to in their settlements. Companies are making record profits STILL after Covid and tariffs because of their high prices and overcharging using anything as an excuse to charge more. read more

I typically love grocery shopping, but the customer service at this Albertsons was the worst I've ever experienced. The worker I encountered had no regard to other people and is completely inconsiderate and has no compassion. We came here to use the restroom and there was a code on the door mind you Albertsons has public bathrooms for use. There was a worker standing right next to the bathroom and we asked him for the code he said " I am on lunch leave me alone." we said please we really needed the bathroom and then he said " I am on lunch I told you!" At this point we were fed up so we went over to a different worker and they said " I can't provide you the code" and only that guy could so we walked a little bit and looked at him once he looked up at us he said " I am on lunch. How hard is that for you to understand?!?!" It took us so much longer to even ask for the code then it would've been for him to just give it to us. We ended up having to drive to a different store to use the restroom. How inconsiderate of these workers. The groceries here are fine, but that workers attitude was worse than any kind of spoiled meat, vegetable food you could have ever tasted. GROSSSSS ugh! read more

Her name is Alice, I always find that Alice seems to be the hardest working employee at this store, she is diligent, courteous, professional and her demeanor is always helpful. This is my usual market but they failed me today. I entered the store at 12:04pm. Went directly to buy shaving supplies and hit the "help" button since everything is locked up. Hit it several times over the course of 10 minutes. Called the store and selected customer service. At 14 minutes of waiting I went and found someone. Grabbed the two other items I needed and had to ask two others to assist me at Customer Service counter after I checked out. I finally ended the call still on hold after 20 minutes. 3 stars because ive never had a bad experience at this Albertsons. Everyone is always so nice and eager to help. Mind you I go in the mornings on weekdays so everyone is caffeinated and its not so busy, and everyone says goodmorning which is great. The sales floor is always clean and they play good music. BUT, for a high end store i'd expect cleanliness everywhere. The bathroom here is DISGUSTING! You walk past the door and it smells like skid row. Imagine going in it. You come out stinking. This is the worst store to order delivery from, I say this as this is the second time I have encountered an issue with the products they send. Tonight, I'm preparing to make a pound cake and I ordered Swans Down Cake Flour and a few other items totaling $45.00. The guy hands me the bag and as I reach in to take the box of Cake Flour I notice it's open. That's surprising but I thought oh so long as the bag is sealed, no problem. WRONG. WRONG. I pull the bag out by the corner because the other corner is scrunched in... lo and behold, the bag is folded-over and taped with desk tape. Thankfully, Albertsons offered to refund the $6.99, and a five dollar credit to use on the next delivery. Oh yeah, that'll happen. I can't believe the level of incompetence at this store. At 5:56PM, I purchased a box of the Swans Down Cake Flour from Albertson's. I asked where customer service was and was directed to the CS Counter where Mike G asked if I needed help. Standing there with the box and receipt he asked how he could help and I started explaining that I'd placed an order on their app. Poor guy was so confused by app, placing an order. He asked if I'd called the number above our head and I said "no, I just purchased this from your store but had ordered the exact same thing on the Albertson's app...", Mike G became discombobulated once again and explained the people in the back put it together. I'm dumb. I assume they pull inventory from the store but he didn't have the time or inclination to explain it so he kept telling me to call the number. I'm a fan of people instead of self-checkout but Mine had me wishing for self-checkouts at that very moment. It passed, though because automated is not perfect - auto and humans all make errors. I hope there's no fentanyl in the cake flour (it could be tainted with anything but half the flour is gone), so I bought a new box for this reason. And, I've included more pics. read more

I wanted the ever popular Haagen dazs 3.6fl oz. I went to this location 2x once on Wednesday, then again on Thursday. I checked the app ahead of time and it shows this location has plenty in stock. On Thursday, there was an employee stocking the freezer item. He notices where I was looking and when I approached, he immediately said "DON'T HAVE IT" I replied stating the app showed stock. He further replies shortly "DON'T KNOW HOW, WE HAVEN'T HAD ANY FOR DAYS" . Welp... that was quite rude, but also, bait n switch move right there!
