Some people were dressed casually, and others were dressed business casual. The Bigger Better Burger was very juicy and flavourful. The height of the burger made it hard to eat but great otherwise! Tried their strawberry mocktail. It was THE BEST thing there. Will definitely come back to try more drinks.

It's located in a run-down plaza (I should really google map these restaurants in the future) and seems to be connected to the bar next door. At 7:30PM on a Friday night, we were the only patrons in the whole restaurant. It seems like we booked the whole place for ourselves! The decor was mostly vintage, there were pictures on the wall of the celebrities that came by, and the lighting was extremely dim. The Food: Seafood Anti-Pasto - $11.95 We ordered this as an appetizer, and it wasn't very appetizing. It consisted mostly of squid/octopus and lettuce soaking in olive oil. The squid was tough to chew on, and left a sour taste in my mouth. Veal Piccata - $18.95 My friend's entree was not much of a looker, but he enjoyed the tenderness of the veal. Marsala seafood - $18.95 This was my entree, and I"m not too sure I have the name spelled right, but it was a heap of spaghetti with mussels on the side and a few pieces of scallop and shrimp. It was not bad at all, but I think I can attempt to make this at home with Ragu. The Service: Pretty good service - there was only one waiter running around making our drinks and taking our order, at the same time running over to the next door bar to serve people there. He was very friendly, and constantly checked up on us. I would come here for the drinks next time because they're very reasonably priced: Amaretto Sour - $4.86 Gin and Tonic - $4.86 I did NOT like that there was a mandatory 15% gratuity charged on our bill. There was only two of us - I think we should tip at our own discretion. This ruined our experience here a bit - Don't think I will be returning.

Our server Natasha greeted us promptly and was super friendly and kind. She was quick to get our drinks and took our food order right away. Food did not take too long to come out. I have only ever ordered a prime rib here and I wasn't about to switch up on them now. I was SO happy they got rid of those wasabi mashed potatoes cuz what? Those were gross. They do a regular Yukon gold mash now and it's perfect. My prime rib was medium, just as I asked for and was juicy and tender. Super comparable to the Keg, but the Keg prime rib issss still my favourite lol. I appreciate the assortment of veggies the meal came with as well. it was so much food, I had to take half home. My by got the burger, which I took a bite out of and it was great! I like how it also comes dressed with an onion ring. My bf also really liked the fries. Overall, it was a great visit back after all these years. The dining room is really pretty, esp with the high ceilings and dimmed lights. Might have to keep Chop in the rotation now! Thanks again to Natasha for the wonderful and friendly service.

There are specials that change weekly. The interior is decorated with New Orleans memorabilia, medium lit, cozy (not large), with jazz music in the background. Service was attentive and friendly. They operated for 30 years at their old location. This location soft-opened on 2026-02-12. We came on 2026-02-25 for dinner. There were still some furnishings to complete (there were unforeseen delays). They kept the same menu offerings but it will be expanded within a month. We ordered the following: 1. Citra Terre D'Abruzzo Pinot Grigio - Italy (glass $14.95). 2. Coke. 3. Crab Cakes ($19.95). 4. New Orleans Shrimp Cocktail ($19.95). 5. Jambalaya Aranchini (weekly special). 6. Blackened Lamb Chops (weekly special). 7. New Orleans Fisherman's Plate ($39.95). 8. Pecan Pie warmed with Ice Cream ($14.95). 9. Bananas Foster ($14.95). 10. Beignet ($14.95). Every dish had an excellent presentation. We spent a lot of time taking photos and videos. What did you expect from me?! We loved all the dishes! The portions were large! There are more staff than in the previous location, allowing the service to be excellent. They tend to have many loyal and returning customers. Every table starts with freshly baked bread and butter. The bread was so fresh! The three appetizers tasted good. They each had a little kick due to creole cuisine. I loved the shrimp the most. The Blackened Lamb Chops was perfectly cooked. Each of the four pieces were very tender, accompanied by a delicious sauce. The dish had some very nicely cooked seasonal vegetables: roasted potatoes, a red pepper, string beans, a broccoli, and a carrot. This dish will be put into their regular menu in the near future. The New Orleans Fisherman's Plate is great if you want a little sampling of their seafood: Blackened Fish, Cajun Calamari, and Coconut Beer Shrimp. It also comes with rice and seasonal vegetables. The fish was so good! We brought some home for my mom and she really loved it. The Coconut Beer Shrimp was on top of a Orange Marmalade Sauce, which is really liked. The three desserts looked really good and tasted good. I loved the pecan pie the most. They can split dishes in half in the kitchen and serve them on two dishes for two people to share. The restaurant uses fresh seasonal ingredients and spices to create authentic Creole and Cajun tastes. Everything is made in-house except for bread and butter. In the near future, their bread will be made in-house too. Currently, there is only indoor dining but they are looking into the possibility of sidewalk outdoor dining. Mike Djurdjevic runs the front of the house while his wife, Mira Djurdjevic, operates the kitchen. Their son, Marko, also helps in the front of the house. There is a large pizza oven at the back of the restaurant. They will be introducing creole pizza in the near future. There is a separate large room for events, parties, etc. This room will be ready in the near future. They also do catering. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, but there is no door-open button. There is one gender-neutral washroom, which is also wheelchair accessible, and one female washroom. Thrre is paid neighbourhood street parking. Review 2026-037

At first, the location felt a bit odd and made me wonder what to expect, but once inside, the atmosphere was actually very nice and welcoming. The seafood was excellent, and the grilled bass was amazing -- that was my favorite dish of the night. The other dishes we tried were also very good, but the grilled fish really stood out for me. The owner also mentioned that they'll be moving soon to a larger location near the Etobicoke lake area, which sounds exciting. With a better location and more space, the atmosphere should be even better, and I think the restaurant will do really well. Definitely a place I'd recommend, and I'm looking forward to visiting again after they move.

Food (4.5/5) - burgers are all homemade and 100% steak burgers so bit leaner than many places. There are different premade choices but I went with build your own. Patties were good and the toppings are extra but freshly made (eg. Fried onions and mushrooms cooked once you order). Patties are lightly seasoned so adding a sauce is a good idea. Siracha was a good fit for mine... along with an over easy egg. Overall it was a very solid burger. Service (4.5/5) - service was friendly and does take a little longer to get your order because it's ready made. Owner is friendly and you can tell he takes pride in the burgers. Atmosphere (4/5) - it's a fairly small place with a few tables spread out. The neighborhood isn't the greatest but the place closes at 8pm. Parking is not easy. Overall (4.25/5) - I will repeat and would recommend trying it out. Update - went back to try some of the designed burgers and had the Royal Z... it was very good... that MG sauce is perfect and the meat was fresh as before... double patties very filling. Will be back for another item next.
