He is someone with the experience and instincts to really understand safety and that was very apparent in our conversations. He's not a salesman - he's a security expert who knows what you need and is honest and direct. He didn't try to upsell me on excessive unnecessary items like other companies. He asked about my goals and truly sought to understand exactly what I wanted before giving his suggestions. I asked tons of questions which he answered thoroughly and patiently. The best part about the experience was he could instantly tell I was shaken up from a previous incident and was so compassionate while still being direct. He talked to me about how to keep myself safe in case of another break-in given the layout of the new house and improve overall house safety in other ways. What I appreciated most about Angel is that he has always been honest and never try to up sale anything beyond my needs. And if there was any misunderstandings, he made sure I as a customer came out happy which I find it a rare quality in retail businesses. When there were extra sensors needed when my tech Matt came out, Angel personally apologized and he gladly paid for them out of his pocket. Angel continually supports me with all my ADT questions or other security concerns and products I continually have. I feel very fortunate to have met him because not only I've installed ADT system, but I feel like the System comes with Angel's ongoing quality service. He also assured that he is sending me a good tech named Matt. Matt was a good guy with patience and honesty. He not only took time to explain all my questions, but made sure he left no trash behind. He removed every pieces to my trash bin. I was impressed. Based on my experience, usually when service tech guys come out, they leave debris or trash behind, but Matt did not. In between installing the ADT sensors, he fixed my multiple window blinds calmly and even taught me how to fix them on my own. He is a good man like Angel. When Matt left, he gave me his cell phone number and said that I can call him if any more concerns and questions I may come up with. And I did, right after he took off, and he called me back right away, and asked if I had any more concerns. I feel security people need to be extremely responsible and competent because they can contribute in saving peoples' lives, and I believe Angel's team carries pride and a strong sense of responsibility for what they do. As a customer of over four years and a real estate professional who has consistently referred clients to ADT, I expected a higher level of transparency and customer care. When I requested that this charge be waived given the circumstances, my request was denied without any meaningful consideration. This experience reflects poorly on your company's customer service practices and has permanently impacted my willingness to recommend ADT. Their Proprietary "Valley Guard" service is now a service that everybody else offers, only they still sell it for double their competitors. The worst part is, 90% of the contracts need change orders once the job has started, that's when the real price gouging starts, you are at their mercy at that point.
