And the best part was, he did it for free. We will definitely be coming back for new glasses in the future!

I went into Moscot at 555 6th Ave, in Manhattan, N.Y. to have new glasses done for my wife. I…read moreended up paying a lot of money for what we later found was bad service and bad material for the Glasses. Initially, they promised seven days for a new order pick up, but after more than a month had passed the order was still not ready and they expressed annoyance at the fact that we reminded them of this. The situation got worse once my wife started wearing the glasses A couple of months after the pick up, the "anti blue light" coating feature started disintegrating on the surface of the lenses. They looked like someone had scraped a fork across them. This made it difficult for my wife to see through the lenses. Two different glass makers told us that the coating used was substandard. Mind you, this work was done on a pair of their most expensive lenses. We could not help but to suspect about other possible substandard features provided in this order. We are both in our 70's and one thing we didn't look forward to was confronting their young, savvy staff. My wife endured this problem for a while, we then took the glasses back before the warranty expired. We specifically, and clearly told them that we did not want the replacement to contain this anti blue light coating. They were more timely in calling us for this glasses pick up. But, would you believe it, the replacement lenses had the same substandard lens coating which soon started disintegrating again. I had been going to this lens maker for more than 35 years-but no more. A couple of phrases here would not have clarified this new culture of incompetence at this organization named Moscot. Caveat emptor.

Stay away!! Absolutely worst place to buy eyeglasses or sunglasses. They are a ripoff…read more They hung up on us 6 times My wife needed new eyeglasses, we visited the store, she liked a Gucci pair which the owner said he can do for $320 and $120 for prescription lenses. We finally agreed to pay $400 and he confirmed that he accepts credit cards. I paid $80 cash deposit and left. My wife was back a few days to pickup the pair, and this time the owner insisted that she pay cash. She handed him $200 and the remainder she put on the credit card. She got home and wore the pair for a few hours. She experienced discomfort on the back of ears and decided to call and return. My wife was told they don't accept returns or exchanges and there's nothing she can do because the demo lenses on the frames were thrown out. I called him up and said I will take the hit on the prescription lenses, take the frames back, guy gave me the same excuse and then he decided to hang up on me. I called again the lady picked up and she hung up on me too. They have no clue about customer service I am taking it with my credit card company for the $120 and I will be sure to never go there again FYI the same frame on amazon was selling for $170 Horrible experience

TLDR: Warby Parker really botched my contacts order but eventually made it right. It was difficult…read morespeak to a person with ownership even going into the store. Eventually someone in management called me back, but it took a little over a week. And I had a really horrible experience at this location. I'm a first-time contact lens wearer and got my first pair at another Warby Parker while visiting family, and my family paid for them. A few days later I went to this location for a refit with the optometrist. I was having a hard time getting the lens in, and she was short on time, and asked if she could just insert it for me. Instead of sticking to my eye, the lens fell onto the carpet. She rinsed it off and put it back in my eye. I was a little grossed out but didn't realize until I got home and Googled it that you're absolutely not supposed to do that. They also only had five lens samples to give me, which wasn't enough to hold me over until my order came in. So, I placed an order for correct strength monthly lenses. They told me the exchange would be $39 more, so I paid and left. About thirty minutes later the store called and said they had accidentally ordered the same lenses again, and offered a 20% inconvenience discount if I brought them back for exchange when they arrived. I later found out that all new contact wearers get 20% off automatically, so that discount wasn't actually compensation for their mistake. And they ordered the exact same lenses, so why did they charge me more? I tried calling, but you can't reach anyone at the actual store, only a call center overseas. I followed up by email five times, but no one ever answered any of my questions. Each time I respond or add information to the email, a new person answers, and none of my questions have been answered in over a week. It's clearly another call center, where no one person owns an issue until resolution. When I finally went back in to return the incorrect lenses, there was one person working behind the register and one helping other people, and a long line. They didn't do an exchange like I asked, or verify anything, and just refunded the entire purchase including the overcharge to my mom's credit card, which I don't have access to, then said it was too late and they couldn't do anything about it. So now I have no lenses, and I'll have to either ask my mom to send me the funds, or pay for the whole thing again myself, and I can't afford it for a few weeks. This whole experience was beyond frustrating. But their management ordered a month of lenses for me which I feel like was more than fair compensation for my frustration and I will go back because the locations are clean and I like the selection of glasses.
