My son told me about this food truck and he is a very picky eater. I called up and placed an order for pick up. I ordered the Salchipapa and ceviche tostón. The food was very good and the fish was very fresh and I enjoyed both dishes. I did find it a bit pricy for a food truck and the portions could be a bit larger for the price. I will be back to try a few more options. My son had the Chaufa de carne (fried rice) and it was very good and it was a large portion. read more

Not sure where the high reviews are coming from. Some reviewers mentioned tiny portions of meat, salty food, and soggy French fries and that's exactly what I experienced. Wanted to give a business just starting out some love but Food was less than average. Pictures show an abundance of meat and was taken by owner vice customers. Was disappointed with the meals. Ordered the chaufa de carne and lomo Saltado. The chaufa de carne barely had any meat and the dish was salty when tried by 2 people. The beef cubes were tiny and we both were asking where is the Meat... The lomo saltado's steak was good but again, little of the main protein. Rice, onions, and soggy french fries were overwhelming and should be the other way around. Both dishes provided very little meat and more of the cheaper things. Based on the little reviews, assuming they are just starting out. Quality/portions need to pick up and match what is being presented by business photos. The height of food truck culture in Miami. It's affordable, the presentation is great, and the food is a calibre way above what I expected. Jalea Mixta for like $8 or $9 is an exceptional deal. I ordered some weird goat heart thing that sounds gross but is BOMB. Idc what you think. I'll make this short. I could not find the location of the food truck because it's not displayed on Postmates. I had to Google it after getting lost and finally found it. There was no phone number to reach them at all. When I got there it was in a horrible location in the ghetto and in the dark. When I picked it up I wasn't even greeted- the guy (sounded Central American) was rude and when I asked if they had choclo he almost even made fun of me for asking...um this is a "Peruvian"food truck. This food truck caught my attention since it's always parked on the corner of 79th street and Biscayne Blvd. I have to take the JFK Causeway to get home so I was intrigued and decided to try it one night that we were in the mood for something different. My go-to, safe option at a Peruvian restaurant has always been the lomo salteado (not sure if I spelled it right). It has a really good flavor and the Peruvian touch, not your regular pepper steak. I wish it would have a bit more pieces of steak since it seems to have more onions than anything else. However, I guess it's a small business and the owner is trying to make his profit somehow. I've also had the chicken wings, tostones, and green rice. Everything is delicious. Be ready to pay $2 extra if you pay with a credit card which is why I always try to pay cash. Overall, the owner has good food, good customer service and is responsive on Instagram and WhatsApp. Sometimes he runs out of chicken wings or another item on the menu so I usually ask him before I head over or pass by. read more

Their pictures look amazing, we got there and it wasn't busy at all. We ordered and you could tell the service guy was NOT trained at all. We sat there to eat at their tables and ordered salchipapas and a seafood platter. Ordered also some anticuchos which were super salty - the salchipapas were ok and the seafood platter was soggy. No utensils or napkings were offered at any time. We had to continue calling the guy to get us utensils, as neither at the counter was any in case you could self serve. Sodas were room temperature and when we order ice they had no ice. Had to go accross the street to a Wendy's to PURCHASE a cup with ice. Besides all this, a bunch of flies over our food. I understand you can't control that outside, but a slow fan would help them go away.. It was a very annoying and bad experience and the owner or manager didn't even notice none of this happened. I sent them messages on instagram and ignored us. Also commented on their picture to see if they were going to notice us and guess what? They blocked us. Not a single percentage if customer service. Food is not out of the world to go back. Sometimes even when the food is not that good, you tent to come back when you are well treated! read more
