Came for happy hour and trivia night. Make sure to check the schedule because this place gets loud. It was a fun night - thanks Amanda! We got, margaritas ($7 at happy hour), dragon tots (I will dream about these), and cauliflower tacos (hats off to a good vegetarian option!) Pricing is fair, our servers were nice but in a packed house it was slower. But hey were were there for hours for the trivia so no rush here! May be less hectic on another night. Unfortunately the seating was a bit uncomfortable. We were placed at a larger table since our group was 9. The chairs were crammed together, backless and I was directly next to the restrooms. I'd definetly come back with family, as the food was good, but hopefully next time we get a different table!

First, The ambiance of the restaurant was super cute, especially sitting outside. There was a movie night going on at the outdoor area in the community. Which also happened to be $6 Margarita Monday. Margaritas were ok, nothing special. We had two & felt they could have been a little stronger. Chips & Queso were decent, I would have again. The Cheesesteak egg rolls were not great, would NOT recommend them. The chicken Fajitas were decently good though. I would come back due to the ambience & atmosphere but not solely based on the food. Next time I'll try the nachos though, because every single table had an order of nachos. Service was ok. Not consistently fast or quality. The table behind us had issues with their check being incorrect.

Okay, so I'm condensing my many visits over the summer into one review. The loaded nachos from the shareable menu is a winner in my book. You can add protein or just leave it as is, which I think is just as filling with the sheer amount of cheese you get. The cocktails are also pretty good, though they're not very strong - which is not a bad thing, especially if you're the designated driver. If you go here, consider the tacos. I personally recommend the pork belly! There was more than enough space and food to go around. If you're looking a restaurant that can accommodate larger parties, this is a great place.

Overpriced for the service and quality. Mediocre Mexican fare, mediocre cocktails, and mediocre service. Count me out.

Covid may have changed the way people are eating but this summer was fabulous. It was the absolute best margarita garden ever and best tacos around.I love following their Instagram because they've got delicious specials and to-go drinks and holiday specials. These tacos and taco bowls were yummy. Not pictures were the nachos which were perfectly spread out and every bite had allthe goodies. Happy to venture out of the city for a yummy meal here. My favorite Mexi style around town

Let me start off by saying I have never had a queso that I liked, except for Al Pastor's. I don't know what they do to or put in that melted cheese, but MAN it was the best I've ever had. Our waitress was so nice and gave great recommendations (especially drink recommendations). We got the spicy cucumber margarita and the pomegranate margarita, which I enjoyed because it wasn't too sweet. For food, I ordered the pork belly tacos. I saw on the menu that there were only 2 tacos (pretty standard) in the order, and when it came out it really wasn't that much food (see picture). But it was really tasty and the marinade/sauce was delicious. Excited to come back in warmer weather and enjoy their outdoor seating!

Al Pastor is a great Mexican option (while being on the pricier side). The service is great and the atmosphere is really fun, especially when there is outdoor seating. They offer burritos, tacos, Mexican pizzas, and much more... what more could you ask for! Would certainly recommend!

So glad we found this little hidden gem - especially during covid times. Great drinks and delicious food. They have outdoor seating and heat lamps- and we were still just a little cold so they found us a table almost indoors- just had to close up the large glass doors that made it a perfect evening. Our server was very attentive and patient with our party of 8 celebrating my sons birthday thank you!

This place is okay. The food was okay. The service was okay. For the cost, you are definitely going to be hungry when leaving.

Great guac, chips and salsa! Also love the nachos. We've also tried nearly all of the tacos. Interesting and tasty flavor combos.

Everybody loves (and should love) an outdoor beergarden with occasional live music, good sports, and a wide selection of drinks and menu items for all...BUT this is one of those microcosm places for the downfall of restaurant dining in the modern age: 1) The beer selection is ungodly expensive. $8 for a can of beer? Woof. Bonus points, however, given for Eagles games prices and the addition of some Stables-specific beers (pale ale and another). 2) You really have to review your check. Recently had an experience where my son ordered a burger from the kids menu, then asks him, "For you side, do you want chips or fries?" He answers fries. A few moments later, there's a plate with the burger and chips along with a side plate of fries. I highlight that he asked for fries and they still brought chips and if that's an issue. Server shares that the kitchen likes to still give out chips even if the side is changed since the chips are specially made (and tasty!). The sad part: the server never says that selecting fries is an upcharge. There's nothing on the menu that says fries are an upcharge. But when my son answers the question "would you like chips or fries?" it is assumed that means it's a selection at the same price. It's not. One more thing: they charged more money for a local beer than what was listed. When brought to their attention, the initial server was very understanding and the manager rectified it on the check.

We loved the decorations in the restaurant too, seeing all the local dog portraits on the wall while we were waiting for our table was enjoyable. The food was incredible. We recently moved to Exton and haven't really gotten a chance to spoil ourselves, and White Dog was a great place to do so. We started with the Mushroom Soup, Oysters, and Artisan Cheese Board. All were delicious! One of the things I loved most were the portion sizes. For the price it was only a touch expensive, but for good reason, the entrees were delicious. My girlfriend got the Salmon, I had the Seafood Bucatini, and textures were masterful. The contrast between the tenderness of the shrimp/scallops and the broccoli rabe/parmesean crisps made each bite a truly special experience. I'm going to be dreaming of how light yet flavorful the sauce was too!! The GF is telling me to stop typing but I could go on and on about this meal. Thank you!!! We will be back

At this age and point in history, it takes a bit to phase me, and I will say - I was phased. Without meaning to, I looked her up and down and gave her a stare that must've conveyed, "WTH?" I said my name and that I had a reservation for 3. I was with my mother-in-law who quite clearly has physical disabilities and the hostess asked, "Do you want to wait for the other person in your party?" Um, no, I want to get my elderly and infirm MIL seated. "No, he's parking and will be right in." "Follow me." And she proceeded to take us quite literally to the seating section that was the absolute furthest away from the front door, as my MIL hobbled along behind her. And the place was dead, so there was no need for that lack of sensitivity. Situational awareness, peeps. When we were seated, each of us was given a different menu. One read "Lunch" one read "Brunch" and one read "Dinner'. We flagged someone down and she said, "Oh, I don't know which menu it should be, let me find out." "You've been open for 4 hours and you don't know what menu you're using?" I wondered quietly to myself. Then the waiter arrived, perfectly affable, also in pajamas, and when he left, my MIL asked, "What is going on? What is everyone wearing?" I said, "Pajamas." NOT the nice meal we had in mind for her. The waiter explained it was a tradition because one day, on New Year's Day, the woman who started the restaurant in the 80s had been so drunk she was incapable of adulting and putting on proper clothes to come to work dressed professionally - so to honor her poor life skills and bad choices - all the staff is now forced to wear pajamas on New Year's Day. How nice for the rest of us. I could see that on a day like April Fools or Halloween or "Bring a Drunk Restaurant Owner to Work Day", but not New Year's Day. But hey - whatevs. The least you could do is push this fact out to people so if someone is looking to have a nice meal in a traditional atmosphere to start the new year - they could consent and/or make another choice. Which clearly, we would have. So odd.
