Beef Behari

This is a restaurant that's attached to a grocery store. We had the following dishes: Karahi Gosht: Yummy! Good pieces, some bone marrow, spicy but not excessively oily. Great spice level and flavorful without being super spicy. My favorite dish. 10/10 Beef Bihari: Pasty, spicy, really yummy. Perfect with naan and raita. Smoky and very flavorful. 10/10 Chicken Tikka (leg): Personally, I don't care for chicken tikka but this was great for what it is. Juicy, flavorful and smoky, with a good sized portion of chicken. 8/10 Chicken Makhni: Really good. The kiddo loved it, not spicy, and I liked it as well. Went perfectly with naan. Boneless and very kid friendly. 8/10 Naan: authentic Pakistani naan was so soft and flufy. 10/10 Mango Lassi: Kid and mama approved. Yummy and not overly sweet, just the perfect flavor. 9/10 Falooda: I don't care for it but it was good for what it was. 8/10 Total was $90 with tip. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. Someone checked in periodically to make sure we were good. It was moderately busy on a weeknight. Clientele was mostly Pakistani. All food is halal.

Update to 5 stars. The standards of the dishes are consistent and service is always great.

This is a great spot that is authentic and full of home cooked goodness. You can tell it's authentic bc it's not full of white people. Food is served on styrofoam plates with plastic spoons. The food is fresh, hot, and plentiful. The manager walks around checking on everyone to make sure they have what they need and are satisfied. The market here is also wonderful. It feels like a mix between a food court and a restaurant. I found it clean and comfortable. Will be back to try more things from the menu!

Back in the days, a couple of years ago, this used to be my favorite spot to try biryani, lamb chops, and the starters here. I loved everything a lot. It's been a long time since I last visited, and after coming back, I'm wowed, they still maintain the same great taste. I can definitely say this is one of the best Indo-Paki restaurants in Dallas!'

Stopped by for weekday lunch with a colleague. Ordered Achari Chicken, Palak Gosht and an extra naan. They were busy and packed, order took a little while but was served hot. Both the curries tasted delicious and naan's were soft as well! I haven't been to this place in few years, looks like they have renovated the place.

I can understand why Al Markaz is such a cornerstone of the Pakistani community in DFW. Located just across the street from the Hmart complex, AL Markaz offers arguably better quality and cheaper groceries than any other place in the area. The food in the food court is solid and felt like I was eating in someone's home. Here's a breakdown of what I got: - Mixed chaat: A mixed assortment of potatoes, tomatoes, yogurt, fried pita. There are probably other things in there that I don't know, but overall the taste is refreshing and has a bit of spice, sweetness, and savoriness. - Bihari kebab: Ground meat that's presented like an upside-down bowl. Very good seasoning. The consistency was a bit mushy for me but otherwise, taste was amazing. - Chicken tikka breast: A bit on the drier side and not as seasoned as the other items on the table. - Naan: This is 100% the best naan in town. I would come back just for this. Service was great! Workers came around often to see if we needed anything (e.g., utensils, napkins, plates).

This spot has been recommended to me by so many people and I've also seen it in a few TikToks and I finally checked it out. Inside of a fantastic quaint grocery store. The Dal Gosht was phenomenal. Such a flavorful sauce and tons of goat meat. It comes with a huge piece of naan and some veggies. You can also buy frozen entrees in the groceries store. I love it here and I will definitely come by again and try the brain masala.

Chicken biryani, kaharani chicken, chicken tikka.

Halwa Puri + Nihari It's a weekend specialty, Chole Masla, Halwa, Nihari, Puri and Naan! Perfect mix of flavors and textures, the portions are great and satisfying. It's a bit heavy on the oil but you're not eating this meal to stay fit, that's for sure! I highly recommend you get here before noon, that's when it gets busy!!!
