Originally-I came here because I loved Breezeway cafe and didn't know that it's been replaced but I thought I'd give this spot a try. I'm glad I did because the food is delicious. The Dal Gosht is spicy and flavorful. The goat was so tender and just fell of the bone. Veg samosas and the two chutneys they come with was so flaky and the potato filling had a spectacular flavor and crisp. Also got the healthy barbecue bowl with chicken malai boti which had a specific taste that I couldn't pinpoint but my boyfriend still liked it. It was so tender and spicy. And it's served over the fluffiest rice. The staff is also so nice and patient with some of my questions. I found this place to be a great surprise. They serve good portions for an affordable price. We stopped by for a quick dinner. The place is a bit hard to find, the sign still says 'Breezeway Cafe'. We were the only table other than the owner's family sitting at another table. The decor is nonexistent, place has no energy but was clean. We ordered daal and malai boti wit naan and laccha paratha. Everything was fresh and tasty. Service was attentive. I rarely write reviews, but my experience with Cafe de Khan has left me no choice. I ordered two biryanis, expecting a proper, flavorful dish, but what I received was *not* biryani. Instead, they served some random mix of rice and chicken curry thrown together. This was extremely disappointing. If they didn't have biryani, they could have simply said so, instead of trying to pass off something subpar as the real thing. Delicious melt in the mouth chicken! Food was fresh and tasty and our server, Fatima, was very helpful. The restaurant itself was clean and spacious. The only disappointment was that they no longer have the buffet and the evening nashta. They are serving BBQ items and burgers, shakes, etc but not curries. We drove down specially for their goat dishes but they said they did not have any. So we chose the chicken mix grill with paratha puris, oye roll,beef burger and Oreo shakes. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the flavors were spot on! Best chicken I've had till now in the Dallas area. The chai hit the spot too! We will definitely eat here if we are in Carrollton but not sure if we would drive down all the way, since their menu has been pared down. Highly recommend a visit for their kebabs. read more

My husband and I enjoy eating Indian and Mediterranean food, and use to eat Breezeway Cafe frequently, but sadly it closed. So we gave this restaurant a try. I have never had Butter Chicken served like this to me before. It was completely separated, greasy, and I just got a mouthful of butter. My husband's goat dish was tough and insipid. You also have to buy rice? Every restaurant we have been to, there is rice on the side, especially for the price of the dish. We also had to wait an unusually long time for two meals, when there was only another couple there just drinking coffee. We will not return. read more

Really disappointing. Poor quality of food. Poor ambiance. We went because of the memories of Cafe De Khan in Pakistan. It's a waste of time and money. I asked for chicken tikka and paratha. Me and my family were there on Saturday, 7/29/2023. My second time in a week. We had their weekend buffet. Nihari, Halim, Biriyani, Tandoor Chicken, Halua, Puri, Mango Lacchi, Tea, are the best we have tried in years, very authentic and flavorful. People were so nice and courteous, we felt at home. It's in the same building that used to be Breezeway Cafe. Setup is more or less the same. Service was fine nothing extraordinary. We ordered the following items: Chicken Kebab Platter (had Malai boti, chicken behari, and chicken tikka), Beef Bihari, Beef Seekh, Nihari, Karahi Chicken, and Chicken Nuggets. The kebabs were outstanding. I especially enjoyed the Malai Boti and Beef Seekh. The bihari kebabs melted in your mouth. The nihari was also one of the better nihari's I've had in DFW. Karahi chicken was solid. Not too oily and plenty of meat. The chicken nuggets were more like chicken cutlets. I wouldn't order those again. Overall I enjoyed the food especially the Malai Boti and Nihari. I will definitely go back for those as well as try other items. Solid addition to the desi scene in DFW. read more

This place is new and I wanted to check it out since it's Halal and mentions authentic Pakistani food, the service was great, the food tasted delicious, fresh, had a homemade touch/taste to it. Excellent Buffet. This is the second time I have visited this restaurant. The Karachi Chicken is fantastic. I could eat only this except they have excellent Chicken biriyani, tandoori chicken, mixed vegetables, and other assorted foods. Their Naan is served fresh and is so good To cap it off I had the best kheer anywhere in DFW. They also have tea and lemonade that were perfect. A great place for lunch read more
