My experience with Al-Flex was great. The best!!! I contacted them on Wednesday and they were very helpful and fast scheduling an appointment for the next day. I had a pest infection at home (roaches and ants), and Andres the inspector came on time and was very professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this company. Very satisfied with its service read more

Horrible customer service!!! Don't waste your money and read the reviews. There is a reason people are leaving these poor reviews. They are very unprofessional and do not explain their procedures properly. I learned the hard way..... read more

I noticed some wood next to the rain gutters that looked like it had been eaten by termites and I immediately started to get quotes to tent the house . I picked the most expensive company because of the years experience that Alflex claimed to have . This has been the worst experience I have had with regards to home repairs . They broke over 150 tiles on the roof and most of my rain gutters were damaged by their work crew while in the process of placing the tent and removing the tent . It seems that since they are not liable for broken tile they have a permit to work carelessly and negligently. One of the men was told by the crew supervisors not to drag the tents as he was removing them to which the man answered , I"ll do this as I please. II asked the sales man to please have the general manger whom is the owner , Alexander Napoles give me a call . I never heard from Mr Napoles Jr . I'm still waiting for his call . Really poor business manners . I'm giving them 1 Star because I'm hoping there was Vikane gas sprayed . read more

Well, being a home owner for at least 30 to 40 years I can tell you I have the experience to know that In certain times of the year price vary. After requesting a price at different season, they have blacklisted me for trying to price them during different seasons and that is their prerogative, as is mine to review my thoughts. I guess I should not take it personal after reading other reviews here, they just don't return some calls. Al-flex isn't what it was 30 to 40 years ago and neither is Miami-dade county. They have gotten to big for their Breeches. The county is saturated with this kind of service and business and if you do your Due diligence you will find prices from 500 to 1000 cheaper than Al-flex! read more

My boyfriend and I called Al-Flex when we noticed a small bug problem in the house. When we called we received a friendly, helpful response and had a technician at the house next day. Our technician was Domingo and he was quick, efficient and knowledgeable. The bug problem was quickly eradicated and we have not had any issues since! read more

Al-flex has no customer service to speak of and just plain horrible. After a week of promises and lying to me about when a service person Would come out I have moved on from this nightmare. I suggest to look elsewhere. Disgusted. read more

I bought a house and the termite policy was transferred to me from Al-Flex. At the end of the first year, I renewed it. After that, I began is suspect I might have termites. When I was offered a free inspection by another company, I accepted it. They found numerous areas of termite infestation. Because I was already covered by the policy from Al-Flex, I then called them and asked for an inspection. When the inspector arrived, he would only inspect the areas where the other company had pointed out damage to me. When I told him there was damage in the attic, he asked me for a ladder. All I had was a 16-foot extension ladder and a two-foot step stool, so he just ignored that area. What kind of inspector arrives without some method of getting in an attic? At the conclusion of his inspection, he declared the home termite-free. In the end, I hired the other company to do a tenting treatment. After the tent was removed, I found numerous termite wings which weren't there before the tenting. I would not recommend this company. read more

We just had our house tented by these folks, and I can't really compare them to anyone else, since this was a first for us... but we really had a decent experience. Jose, the rep - first came to our home to talk to us about $$ and about what would be happening. And a few days before the event took place - someone from corporate called us to see if we had any concerns or questions. Now - I have two small kids, and the thought of injecting our home with poison left me a bit uneasy. The day before the tenting - I called the lady (from corporate) back - and was floored by her. She stayed on the phone with me for about 40 minutes as I walked her through every nook and cranny in the house and asked her... "can this stay?" "how about this?" "and that?". She didn't get snippy, cut me off. Totally cool and patient. So overall. Happy and would recommend. read more

I have called this company 4 times to try to get a termite inspection and they keep telling me they'll call me back n never get back to me... Terrible service and extremely unprofessional. Don't waste your time with this company. read more

I called them because I needed an estimate for my home, A gentleman by the name of Pablo called within 24 hours and was very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. He was very helpful and I felt comfortable with their services. If you need any exterminator call Them and ask for Pablo. I will be calling them again if I need more work done for sure. read more

I called Alflex about 8 weeks ago for an estimate for extermination. They concluded that I had subterranean termites and needed the extermination immediately. I had 3 other places scheduled, 2 of which had given me better quotes and ended up cancelling the appointments with them because not only was your salesperson polite, went out within a few hours of my call, but seemed knowledgeable. What the salesperson failed to mention, although I mentioned that I had a difficult schedule, is that your services were not performed on Saturdays, or after 4pm. I find myself with half a treatment, and no intent of accommodating me, the client. If I would have known that, I would not have chosen Alflex, and gone with someone who was more accommodating of my situation. I called a couple of times, they said they would speak to a Manager about my scheduling issue, but I didnt hear from anyone in over a week. I called 3 more times within the next 2 weeks. To date, I still haven't heard from anyone. It is about 9 weeks later. I have a half treated home, and no one has bothered to reach out. This is an extermination company, not a bank (well even banks have after 5pm and Saturday hours now) or doctor's office, so an 8:30 to 4 PM schedule is not expected from a business that provides a service like yours. At this point I am extremely frustrated and I need the services completed, and some accommodations made. It is not my fault if the exterminator lives in Miami, and wants to do the job before 3 pm because they want to beat traffic back. I can't miss work, because ultimately, that is what pays for your services. It's a shame this is what the company has turned into. You can tell, the owner's children have taken over the day to day, this would have never happened with the father. As I read the feedback and reviews, the scheduling, lack of customer service and follow-up and unresponsiveness seems to be the company's MO.... my house now stands here without a complete service. I am regretting my decision to contract with you all. I have never received a call back. It is unprofessional and unacceptable. read more

This is truly a very professional Service. They showed up at the exact time as promised, and were very careful not to damage any of the plants around the house. The Manager took extra time to explain the process and was there on time for the set up , removal and final clearing.Everything went well. We stayed at a hotel for two nights. However if you are sensitive, you should spend a third night away to allow the air to fully clear. We highly recommend this company. read more

The way their customer service treated me was horrible. I will never do business with them again! The first time they were called to my house they said they didn't find the problem but they said they would spray. After spraying we still found more termite droppings coming from some of the walls. I called them again once I found wings scattered around the house. The customer service was rude. When I asked to speak with a manager the customer service said "You don't need to speak with a manager they are going to tell you the same thing I am telling you, that is why they hire people like me so you don't need to bother them". I will never do business with Al-Flex. The date I had my house tented my neighbors had their house tented with Al-Flex. Here is what I noticed about Al-Flex's tenting. 1) The tent was worn out. It had holes that were covered with duct tape in multiple places. 2) The tent was loose against the house, compared to the way mine looked this was a sloppy job. 3) They covered all of the neighbors plants, even the ones that were more than a foot away from the house (all the plants are dead now). Al-Flex sucks, they will take your money and in exchange kill your plants. read more

As a world class resort in Miami, it is imperative to work with a reliable and efficient pest control company. Had my house tented with these idiots and as I'm standing there they proceed to grab the water hose without asking first and of course they don't even know how to turn it on. they're a bunch of boneheads that do a sloppy job. hasn't been 5 years since they tented and there's already signs of termites. bad decision on my part for not reading reviews first. read more

I used their services on 5/5/16, after 8 years. What a terrible choice. After 1 week of signing the contract they couldn't tell at what time they were suppose to come and put the tent so I could leave. I had to call 3 times on Wednesday to find the setting time for Thursday finally got the answer around 5:30pm. They mention that some roof tiles could get broken -I expected 10??!!- not 30!! Completely smashed. Two sprinkler heads were also broken. The bulk of sand not removed all over property, I had to shovel!! The plastic ties that they use to close my doors were left in the floor not in the garbage!! They dropped some kind of juice or something in the kitchen floor. Attic was left open with AC running and finger prints in the lid. I wrote an email expecting an answer. It's being more than 10 days and nobody has answered. read more

The customer service was great. They were quick to help me with my needs. They answered all my questions and were very helpful. They worked around my schedule and all. My house is now Termite free! Thank You Al-Flex! read more

I wanted to use this company because they were family owned and the owner's son seems genuine and attentive. I was in a bit of a bind because I rent out a separate part of my home through Airbnb and a previous guest had brought bed bugs. So to get rid of those plus a termite issue I had, I needed the service done quickly to not continue to lose money through the busy season of Airbnb. As soon as the workers arrived and got up on my roof, I heard them stomping around. When I complained to the supervisor, he immediately ran to his van and produced a waiver. He said the roof was delicate but that they would take great care. I had had my house tented 4 years previous by a different company without any roof damage (not sure why I didn't use them again), so I figured it should be ok. As soon as I signed the waiver, the workers proceeded to stomp even harder, in my opinion. Unfortunately, my fears were confirmed. They damaged more tiles than the recent Hurricane Irma. I can prove it with pictures and I used the same roofer to repair after Hurricane Irma and after Hurricane Al-Flex and the repair costs were higher after the tenting was done. And the roofer specifically told me that the workers had to have wanted to break tiles to do what was done on the roof. I tried to have this resolved for weeks calling Al-Flex, but nothing. They won't not return my calls. So now I have do decide if I will spend money and time to sue them in small claims court with the chance that I will lose because of the waiver that I signed under some duress as they knew I had to take care of my issue quickly or lose money. At the very least, I am going to leave negative ratings so that others know about this company. You can check out my review with pictures on Angie's List (http://www.angieslist.com). read more

Be warned it will be impossible to get them to honor their guarantee. Other companies will re-tent if you call and tell them you still have termites, without any hassle. Al-Flex will make you chase them, then they do inspection after inspection and will still refuse to acknowledge the presence of termites. The damage is continuing unabated and we will have to hire another company. read more

I called 5 companies for proposal to tent my house and after reading everyone's proposal. I realized that AL-FLEX offered an honest guarantee. The only company that had clear language on the service agreement that if termites come back they would re-tent and every other company's agreement stated re-treat. Sounds the same but a huge difference between a complete tent fumigation and a spot treatment. Loved them!!!! read more

Very disappointed with the service. First when you take the insurance they never check if everything is all right at your home. We put a tent last week . I am not sure it was working when we did it last time since we had to put a tent in less than 5 years and it was with them. They came and they didn't check anything. All the windows were supposed to be open. the window of and my daughter's room were closed !!!!! they didn't check that the teco Gaz was on !!. When they came they left claws in my garden.. They called me at 9PM the day before to schedule the tomorrow appointment. The tech was nice ( having all the complains). The main office couldn't call me at normal hours to let me know the time. DON"T USE THEM they are not serious. read more

We just had our house tented a month ago (9/10/2014).....and while the service of killing my termites was good they also managed to kill all my plant life sorrounding my house. They indicated some items could get damged in their waiver. They just never stated that they would die outright. Palms I planted over 12 years ago now have to be removed. On top of that....their follow is weak at best. It took them one month to tell me they could not do anything for me because I signed a waiver (10/14/2014). My suggestion is to go with a national company similar to Orkin....as you are guaranteed to at least have a voice. While local companies like Al FLex are looking to get in and get out....and not worry about the bad work and leaving you with the bill to fix the damage they have committed..... Salesperson- Miguel Cloquell-Nice and personable until I had a complaint. Never called me back Service Manager- Manny Guzman-Nice and personable but had to follow up over a three week period since he did not call me back...only to hear they could do nothing for me....because I signed a waiver. Choose Right...Pick a National reputable company read more

Their installers came to the house and started installing. The salesman was not there of course and they tried getting more money from me then agreed upon with the salesman. Once there was a conflict with how much was contracted for, the installers walked off the job and the salesman kept my deposit. worst company i have ever hired to do a job! the came to my property on july 14th, 2016 to install the house tent and the workers broker 200+ roof tiles and they say it's not their responsibility to fix them. i called the company several times to complain and no one cares to call back. i hired them because of their reputable name but i made a huge mistake. a friend of mine had the same issue while installing in her house and broke about 30 roof tiles. they don't care. read more

We recently had our house tented by Al-Flex. We choose them since they offered the best price, and their salesman was very responsive. We had lots of questions, including possible damage to the roof. The contract says that they will not be responsible, unless the damage is caused by their negligence. The salesman told us not to worry, since they have the most experienced people in the region, and they are very careful. Naturally, we figured there could be some cracked tiles, but it turned out that there were two places on the roof where it appeared that something heavy was dropped. They came and inspected, and said that it was just from their people walking. We questioned this, since if that was the case, there should have been other areas with the same damage. They said refused to take responsibility, and said that this type of damage is part of having a roof tented. This was very different than what their salesman told us. Bottom line - you may save a little money upfront with Al-Flex, but don't be surprised if you have hundreds of dollars of extra roof repairs if you use them! Next time - we'll use Terminix. read more
