Good morning everyone! Ok, if you are reading this review you are probably having a termite or pest control problem right? Well so did I! Unfortunately, as I was looking in to several companies I found that many of the name brand companies like Orkin, Terminix, etc. really left a lot to be desired. Why you may ask well good question.... So for some of us that have opted to have spray foam insulation installed in our homes at some point, as it is some of the best insulation out there, it seems these companies (especially Orkin) have absolutely no interest in helping us out or even discussing any options with me. They flat out just said thanks but no thanks... Enter "The Termite Guys" and boy am I very glad I called this outfit. Let's just say they really know how to provide excellent customer service. Spoke to both Matthew and Eddie and both were knowledgeable and worked with me to treat my house for both dry wood termites and subterranean termites as well. After some discussion we coordinated getting the house treated at the same time I replaced my roof so I could treat all the new wood being installed. I can tell you that there are not many companies that are willing to do something like that but the Termite Guys are willing to work with you and do whatever it takes to get you taken care of. After treating my home, I opted for a maintenance plan where they come back periodically to inspect and retreat if necessary. One thing is for sure, here in South Florida all our homes are subject to getting termites at one point or another. When you do do you want to work with a national company that cares little to nothing about you and your home or do you want to work with a local company that cares and will work with you to put a plan together and get you taken care of. From my perspective, this company was a real pleasure to work with and I highly recommend you give them a call if you are looking to treat your home for termites. From a cost perspective they were very reasonable as well and offered me a great deal to perform a full treatment at my home. Incredibly unprofessional workers. Driver of one of the trucks wouldn't move his vehicle so we could pass and proceed to cuss out my father-in-law, calling him stupid and a "bitch". We had the right of way, and instead of just backing up so we could pass he proceeded to park and not move, blocking multiple other cars from exiting. If this is how they treat you on the road in front of other people, imagine how unprofessional they are behind scenes. read more

Don't waste your time. I used Yelp to begin getting quotes for an extermination and this company was one of the ones that replied. Javier replied promptly and I called the office to make the appointment. The appointment was for today (Friday) between 12 and 4:00 p.m. I have had quite a bit of work done on the house over the past year and I have not had anyone who needed a four hour window, but these guys do for some unknown reason. I made the appointment and gave them all the necessary information. On Thursday I turned off my phone for work and after work I go to school. I often don't turn the phone back on until the next day. On Friday I saw that they had left three voicemails confirming my appointment. First of all, a service call does not require a confirmation. I gave them my address. I had agreed upon a ridiculously large window. All they had to do was show up. Again, I have had a lot of work done and I have had close to 20 service people at my house giving me estimates. Not one of them ever confirmed the appointment. Later on I saw they had texted me, confirming my appointment from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. That was not the time I had agreed upon. Either this was a mistake, or they had changed the time of the appointment without checking with me. Either way it looks like incompetence on their part. I waited all day and they never showed up. At 3:00 I texted Javier again and let him know that I had an appointment and asked if he knew what time they planned on getting here. He never replied. The end result is, I wasted an entire day waiting for a company that never showed. I assume it's because I did not confirm the appointment, but I did confirm it. I confirmed it when I made it. That is all the confirmation that any company needs when they have my address. It's not like I can sneak out on them. They know where I live. Instead they chose to be highly unprofessional and simply not show up. This is inexcusable and a poor way to treat a potential customer. Particularly when that customer was brought to you through Yelp. They should have realized that it would end up with a bad review. read more

I've had two occasions to call upon the services of this Termite control company. To date I can only say they have provided results and proven very satisfactory. The lady who runs the office is also very nice and helpful for coordinating the specialists who come out to treat the infested areas. I recommend them highly! read more

Instead of the "Termite Guys", this business should be called the "Termite Middlemen". They are merely a front for a subcontractor, who is a completely different company. In fairness, I think the sub did a good job fumigating and clearing the house. The "Termite Guys" only real responsibilities were communication and coordination, which they did poorly. Long story short, I wasted an entire workday waiting for the crew that showed up at 4:50pm to tent the house. Then we wasted another entire day waiting for the tech that clears the house. Also, they require full payment in advance before any work is done. Next time I will hire an actual fumigator directly. read more

Got the number from my mother in law who was very happy with their service, so I decided to give them a try. Spoke with Maggie and set up an appointment to have both my house and my moms fumigated. Maggie advised that service agent will call me about 30min prior arrive. Here we are at the appointment date, got a call from Eddie that he was about 30min out from my moms house and that he would call me prior to arrival to advise my mom. After Eddie finished my moms house I got a call from the office and it was Maggie regarding payment. I asked if after my house get fumigated can I pay both of them together? Maggie did not have a problem with that, that she call after my appointment was completed. Eddie arrived fumigated, I has worried it would affect my dogs. He told me they would be fine, he is a breeder on the side and the chemical does not affect the dogs. Eddie was informative and even suggested a resolution for my mosquito problem in my yard. The solution was not costly, and they used it on the owners property because he was having a similar issue and has had great results. After Eddie left, about 30min later, Maggie called regarding payment. She gave me a few option, online invoice, Zelle, or she would take payment over the phone. All in all, I had great service and dealing with Maggie and Eddie was a pleasure. Oh and by the way, Eddie was patient with my mom and went a little out of his way to accommodate her. read more

These folks are the real Thing. Got many estimates and inspections from several companies (including the ones you see on TV). The Termite Guys follow through and do it by addressing the termites' life cycle. Plus a very reasonable price, avoiding the Tent. Make sure to call Matthew Vanriel for the inspection and quote. I called on a Monday, they sent out an estimator the next day and he was knowledgeable and on time. My house was being completely renovated so the woman explained that's the best time for treatment. I told them during the home inspection before buying they had found some termite residue outside and I wanted to just tent the whole house just in case, instead of her just saying yes and taking my money she told me that wasn't necessary. Not to mention they actually do tentless treatments! And all eco friendly! The 3 guys who showed up were very good with communicating they ran a little late but notified me which I greatly appreciate. They really took their time to check everything. Honestly I have no complaints at all. The person answering phone calls and request has been great, the people coming to spray my home have been great. I have had them come multiple times as I see wings and termites sometimes lingering and they are always happy to come and spray again on any places that I see termite droppings or termites themselves. I had several inspections. And I chose this company. They were quick and response and were very attentive when they assessed my termite problem. They went through every room.They sealed all the holes. They put the poison in the wall. This is a very tedious job. When I say they sealed all the holes in the ceiling in the walls they did!!! The first night I seen two termites. I have not seen ANY sense and it has been a week. I am extremely happy about this service. They cleaned up everything after they left and even vacuumed up any debris that was left behind. They were on time which is very important for me.
