It was a bit try and had wished to order the shank instead. Another ordered roast lamb shoulder and another couple ordered the whole sea bass. They liked the sea bass and it was enough for 2 to share. To finish off the meal, I ordered the anise tea. It was very fragrant but light so need time to steep to bring out the flavour. The Arabic coffee was like Turkish coffee with cardamom added. Both very interesting and the server was telling us all about health benefits of anise tea esp with osmanthus flower and was so nice she even brought out the flower for us to see and smell. A piece of garlic bread with a bowl of soup. This sounded like a great compromise between salad and the much heavier David's Deal meals. So I decided to order a Chaudree as well. The others at the table ordered roasted lamb, a David's Deal Vegetable Moussaka, and a few appies for the table. We had Caesar salad, Calamari and some Kypriaki Wings to share. So...still got my salad in. I really enjoyed my Chaudree! Been to this restaurant so many times. It was great to finally try something new. Certainly would have never expected to be eating a French dish in a Greek restaurant. It really hit the spot. There was lots of seafood in it. They weren't stingy with the seafood, and it was the perfect compromise for me who had been originally wanting just a salad.
