Honestly, they took care of everything quickly and efficiently. Explained my invoice in good detail, no additional damage to my car, and even gave me a friendly and solid recommendation on where to get a smog check for my registration. read more

Customer service is HORRIBLE! Guys there have an attitude and are disrespectful. Retrieving our vehicle from them was such a shit-show. CHP needs to call a better towing company. read more

I was following up on a stored vehicle notice i received from the Pomona P.D. and our uses a recorded line for calls going out/in the recording states that you are on a recorded line the person answering would just hang up finally on the 3rd call the GM answered and stated that they don't like to be recorded and that I have to call on a unrecorded line because they don't have to be recorded if they don't want to...how are we to call on a police impound if they don't want to take our calls? Maybe the Pomona PD should look for a more cooperative storage facility. It makes you think that either they are hiding something or trying to retain the vehicle or increase the cost of storage. read more

Ridiculous. CHP called them to tow our car to the house (couldn't use AAA). I hand the driver my card for a $400 tow and he says cash only our internet isn't working all weekend. Did he tell me cash only in advance. NO. Did he apologise for the inconvenience. NO. When I called did dispatch try to charge me an extra $1000 towing the car to their yard? Oh ya. Rude. Patronising. Unprofessional. read more

Paid $550 for getting out the same day it got towed only was in there for 3 hours and it was 550!!! Plus police release form $220 good luck THEY TAXIN !!!! And my car came back with the bumper falling off good luck you been warned !!! read more

WARNING!!! WARNING!!! WARNING!!! my son was in accident where a stolen car went through a red light and total the car. My son was hurt very bad. Being a Friday the car was kept over the weekend I was charged for Saturday and Sunday storage because they are closed so you're obligated to pay for the weekend. I'm sure that was planned! They tried their hardest to keep the car longer! I paid close to $900 dollars, $500 was for cleaning the accident site which my son was not at fault! $250+ an hour! To add injury to insult they stole everything of value that was in the car including children's Christmas gifts! These people are SCUM OF THE EARTH!!!! read more

Terrible service and charged me for a full day of storage even the the car was picked uped before 24hrs. Customer service was rude and not good. Not allowing multiple people view the car even though the police tow paper directly authorized multiple people to go see the vehicle in the yard. In total I was charged $518 dollars. read more

This is my second time using Al & Son's Towing. My SUV died on the 10 FWY near the 57 FWY interchange. I had to have my SUV towed and stored at Al & Son's facility since I was catching a flight from the Ontario Airport and had no choice but to deal with my situation until I returned. This time around, I had another FANTASIC PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE getting my SUV towed. As I read some negative reviews about Al & Son's Towing - I want to mention what I witnessed from three people explaining their situations at the service window while waiting in line to pick up my SUV. Situation #1 One man was at the window trying to pick up his car - who was later identified not to be the legal owner and was not authorized to pick up the car. When asked where is the legal owner, he claimed the registered owner was out of the country. He was screaming and making threats. Situation #2 A female who had received a DUI did not obtain the required release paperwork from the CHP. She was extremely rude to the staff cussing at them. Situation #3 A man came to pick up his car but could not since the car was registered in his wife's name. This guy was caught with a prostitute in his wife's car (arrested and car towed). He was told his wife is the only one authorized to pick up the car as the registered owner. He was pleading at the window to let him take the car so his wife would not find out. Al & Son's Towing operates at the request of a CHP call and when you think about it - they are responding as a Service Provider helping the situation. I shook my head listening to these people in their troubled situations - passing the blame on to Al & Son's Towing who only provides a service. Both times, using this company - I have never had anything removed from my Motorhome or my SUV. So, when I read these negative reviews - I don't give these people much credit since their situations are already unfortunate. AL & SON'S TOWING PROVIDES GREAT QUALITY SERVICE !!! read more

He quoted me $380 for one hour he goes around and came up with more time charged $463, not truth worth tow company and I don't recommend to anyone. read more

This is the absolute worst type of tow yard or service to exist. They do not have an 'open office' over the weekend to release vehicles, so you are obligated to pay the weekend, disregarding they have somebody on site to take vehicles in. If you lose any paperwork, they charge a $55 fee to get a copy of an invoice. Absolute scam and the worst kind of humans to exist. Do NOT utilize these people for any service that you have the choice of. It's no surprise that the majority of the other reviews are one star when this business operates as scummy as they do. read more

WARNING. Dishonest business w/ predatory practices. The woman at front window tried to pressure me to leave keys with them. I also noticed the older guy who walked me to my car snooping through other multiple peoples cars and stealing items. Also tried to pressure me to leave valuable items and musical equipment that I need for work. They were also dishonest and attempting to add under the table illegal additional fees. read more

Zero stars. They play games with my insurance telling them they can't be recorded and hang up,thus not allowing my insurance company to get my car that I rightfully released. I call them to ask for fees for my insurance and they lied and said they had phone issues. Yet I was on the line one of the times they just blatantly hung up on my insurance. Then refused to tell me breakdown of the charges, which seems illegal. Horrible horrible horrible company. Consumers beware this is a scam of a tow yard. read more

If I can give this place zero rating, I would. They charged my son $603 to store his motorcycle from 2 am until 10am, claiming they took 1 whole hour to collect the motorcycle that was in two pieces onto the tow truck, while another tow company Sanders took 5 minutes to get the job done! They are big scammer, they pray on people's trauma and tragedy! Stay away if you can! read more

Al &Son's Towing - Please tell me how does it take over 2 hours to put these two pieces on tow truck! Scammers stay away from this company - Towing Near Me - Pomona, California

Thiefs!! after an accident I had to use their towing service since they have a deal with the chp. Owner is rude and enjoys profiting of others suffering and on top of that will steal Christmas presents and personal belongings from your vehicle. Please whatever you do stay away. A report will be made for the stolen items. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. read more

Thieves! This man kept denying and denying he didn't steal a whole cologne bottle from my car. I'm glad I have proof of pictures and CHP report. I don't think they will like the lawsuit that is coming especially since everything in my car was a mess once they literally dug through all my personal belongings. read more

Very rude person on the phone. I was try to confirm an appointment time and hang up after 30 seconds.

i wish i could give zero stars.. $300 for a 5 mile tow is crazy... just use pep boys it's $85 for the first 10 miles. or literally any other tow service read more

Needs 0 stars. They gave me such a hard time with trying to get information on my car being impounded. The woman? (I think) acted like the phone was "acting up" for about 15 minutes before she told me I wasn't able to grab my things from my car. When I called the first time they refused to give me a deadline , then when I called back they said it was too late and that I needed to pick up my things by the 6th... todays the 14th. Disgusting people with ugly souls, making life harder than it already is. Find God. read more

worst ever service received I'm not sure why they still in business the lady and the guy in charge at the office they are so rude and useless. not willing to help and provide the service they are getting pay for. they were mad of me taking my stuff out of my truck, they wanted to keep my truck at their ridiculous place for more days to make more money ........ if you are looking for a towing company not even consider to call them read more

CHP had my vehicle towed here after an accident.. the workers ransacked my vehicle and items are missing. I will be reporting them. I also had Amazon returns in my truck and they opened all of my packages to see what was inside, so that they could decide if it was worth stealing. Absolutely despicable behavior. Not at all surprised, considering the location. read more

Very helpful and kind ppl. I Had my car towed and kept over the weekend due to a car accident. The gentleman that helped (Adolfo) me was very helpful in guiding me as to what I needed to do not only with them but with my own insurance. I had a very easy transaction with them. And overall extremely happy with their customer service. read more

I was in a horrible accident over the weekend and was transported to the hospital. I was super concerned with my valuables that were left in the car, I had several items that were very expensive! But, after speaking with them over the phone I was able to relax. From the very first phone conversation with them and till I went there to retrieve my personal belongings they were very professional kind and courteous. All me personal belongings were in the car and accounted for! From the office personnel to the yard guy, they made my experience very smooth and easy. Thanks Al & Son's I would definitely be using them again! read more

Very bad service. The guy is rude. Won't give any information to tow truck drivers or to car owners. He thinks he owns the place but he's just a worker. Has no customer service. They take forever to answer at the front. Very bad place. If you ever get your car towed here you're out of luck. The tow truck service is horrible too and they charge an arm and a leg! read more

Negative- I have placed a complaint against this establishment with Better Business Bureau and the California Department of Consumer Affairs towards race and sexual discrimination because I am Mexican and a female. They were very disrespectful while conducting business with me, everyone in their were men and I felt harassed by Erik being rude and throwing my drivers license, and receipt on the floor. 0 professionalism trying to belittle me as a women. read more

Rudest customer service . From the beginning. Towed my car per sheriff's request without my authorization due to an accident and when my insurance called they were extremely rude and not helpful at all . I'm from out of state and the declined to be of any service or accommodations. read more

My motorcycle lost all power while on the 57 south. I made it to the side of the road at the 57 South and 60 West interchange. I called three other places before I called these guys, I had no clue about their Yelp profile, but they were the lowest cost for me to tow my cycle nearly 30 miles to Costa Mesa. The guy that showed up, Isacc, was polite, friendly, and really made me feel like my bike was in good hands. We talked the entire way to my destination and shared some stories about growing up. All i all, it made what was turning into a rotten day much better. I'm not sure what happened to these other people, but my experience was nothing like theirs thankfully. If this ever happens again, I'm asking for Isacc. read more

My mom's car had been towed here, and the workers were very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Admittedly, it wasn't something I expected from a towing company. We were thankful for their help, and their recommendation actually ended up saving us lots of money. Super friendly and kind! I had a problem initially with getting my car back and Olga was super helpful and worked with me to find a solution. If you ever have to deal with towing (which is never fun), make sure you use Al & Sons!! read more

Not sure if this is family owned, but everyone was so nice and patient with me. I got into an accident they towed my car to their lot. They kept it on their lot until my insurance was able to come get from them. They respond pretty quickly and try to help as much as they can. Would recommend this place to anyone. read more

By any means, avoid this towing spot. It's family operated place, so the parents own it and their ""kids help with the towing. They purposely left my vehicle lights on to make my car battery die. Then didn't wanna pay to take it to my house down the street. They will do anything to keep your car inside as long as possible, and will avoid any responsibility of the car. They're completely rude, unprofessional, and sketchy. They even wrote down all my credit card info (front & back) on a piece of paper, causing me to have to change my credit card info. I think the only reason they're still in business is because they work with CHP related car incidents, so they feel they can take any action wanted. AVOID AVOID AVOID. read more

My husband and I met the nicest people at Al & Sons. My car was stolen then recovered and impounded by Al & Sons. I spoke with Olga on the phone before coming down with the paperwork. She was so pleasant and helpful. Even more so in person. Others we talked to were just as kind. If I could give 10 stars I would. read more

This company charged $390 an hour to tow a big rig vehicle 25 miles. It took them 4 hours to tow the vehicle that far. They then threatened to impound the vehicle when the price was stated (and was never stated prior to towing the vehicle). This company is allowed to extort and charge exorbitant prices because they have a deal with the chp. The chp should revoke their deal with this company. Its clear from their yelp reviews that they are only interested in ripping off customers who have no other choice. If they charged for water, they would have no problem charging $10 for a bottle of water. In comparison, the same vehicle was towed over 300 miles for $1,300. read more

My fiance has a Nissan GTR (fancy sports car) and asked his shop buddies who would have a flatbed that worked with sports cars before. They referred Charlie from Al& Sons in Pomona. My fiance's car had a flat but because it's SO low, we had to arrange a flat bed to come get it. we were all the way in Thousand Oaks and they came and took us to the El Monte area. Charlie was gentle with the car putting it on. it's extremely low so you need to be careful. he tried putting air in the flat tire to help lift the car but it didnt do much. the tire was gone. Charlie was really talkative and friendly. There were some problems taking the car off. The kit was slightly hit (scratched on front side) but the fiance is getting a new kit so he wasnt as worried as I was. Overall, good experience. 24 hour service read more

I got my car towed on sudsy 3am and because Monday was a holiday I had to pick it up today , Tuesday right when they opened. I was nervous about going to them and having a hard time cuz of all the horrible yelp reviews . So I called ahead asked them all the documents I needed in order to pick up my car and if my car was on a hold or not. When I got to the place I handed them my papers and then they just had me pay the fee and I was in my car and out. Not a bad experience. I payed close to 350 . Something like that . Wasn't too upset and I'm just surprised how smoothly it all went . read more

Olga and her pleasant attitude and smile at the window made a difficult situation as pleasant as possible. Our car was totaled and towed to Al & Sons the tow truck driver was super nice also.
