I only write reviews when something is exceptional. My car lately has been giving me signs that something's wrong but I didn't think too much of it. I'm a videographer for special events such as birthdays and weddings, I usually leave two hours earlier than I need to to get to my events just in case anything happens. The other day last week I was on my way to work and my car broke down on the side of the road, turns out it overheated. Yay me. I called my sister and she suggested that I call Tinker Towing because of all the great reviews, thank goodness! Lately it's been real hot thanks to California heat and aside from not making to my event at my scheduled time I was concerned about waiting outside in the hot sun. (I burn relatively easily) Having all this happen within the span of 2 minutes got me extremely frustrated and I didn't want to overheat let alone my equipment. Brady was to my rescue just about 20 minutes after the call! (Faster than a call i've ever made to AAA...) He got straight to the point and reassured me everything was going to be fine in such a stessful moment. Tinker Towing is by far the greatest towing company. When my car broke down on the freeway, I was frightened to say the least. The lady on the phone was polite and showed empathy. A driver named Brady arrived faster than I could believe. It was extremely cold outside and he let me sit in the car while he got everything set up. Brady towed the car quickly and was humorous throughout the experience. He was extremely nice and made me feel much better about situation. Went to a show at the Glass House a few weeks ago that ended late, was ready to head home at 1:00am, but luck was not on my side and I discovered that my car was not going to get me home. I didn't know any towing companies in the area so I just searched "towing" and decided upon this, hoping that the previous positive reviews were correct. First off, I just want to say how amazing this tow company's service is. My friend's radiator blew while we were driving and needed to get the car to a nearby shop. I Yelped for a nearby tow service and Tinker Towing came up (it helped a lot that it had good reviews). I called and not long after, Bobby showed up quicker than we had expected. I had to call Tinker when my car broke down in my apt. complex. The driver was there within 20 minutes and got my car all hooked up for the tow. I had to tow it to a mechanics and the driver was able to recommend one nearby since the driver knew the area pretty well. I was by myself when my car didn't start and as a young woman, I appreciated the professionalism that the driver had at making me feel at ease during the whole process. So happy this place exists! Seriously. I don't live in the imeadiate area, and even though I know the area pretty well, I can't say I knew where a single towing place was when I got a pretty severe flat while leaving a friends house. Too far away to walk back, and by myself, I did a yelp check of places near by and hit the jackpot with this place. Got there super fast and were really professional and friendly. He put my spare tire in 5 mins and I was on my way to a tire shop. He recommended a tire shop and said they would even give me a discount because he knew that tire shop company. Towards the end of a horrible day; waking up hours later than intended, arriving late to work, forgetting my lunch on the counter, embarrassing myself countless times... The fun continues on throughout.... And as this awesome day came to an end, so did my front passenger side tire. I called a handful of tow company's and needless to say they were all an hour or more out, way out of my price range and to top it off, all shops I called turned out to be a really mean and unworthy of my business. But not **TINKER TOWING!** I felt that these guys happily answered my call, and asked me what the situation was and how they could help. A truck arrived about 20 minutes later. As the nice driver worked on my tire replacement, he listened to all the gory details of my day, and he unexpectedly calmed me down and made my day a whole lot better.
