As someone who's very particular about sound, I know there's a lot of noise and many different places I can go to get car audio upgraded. But not everything goes as planned, and I noticed distortion from one of the installed speakers, which ended up being a warranty claim with the manufacturer. There was no question from the shop, Joe scheduled me, removed the speakers and worked with the manufacturer to remedy the issue. Upon reinstall, had dynamat applied and I'm very happy with how clean the installation was (no corners cut here), and very happy with the improved sound. I can tell they care about the customer experience, and hold themselves to high quality standards. Check the pics, I'll definitely be back with my next vehicle. read more

My speakers didn't even last me a year. I installed them last year and they are already sounding like how they sounded before I installed them. The standard speakers that came with the car lasted me at least 8 years and these can't even last a year?? I don't even listen to my music loud. Go else where. They take forever & tried to pass on horrible quality/product for the amount of $$ I paid for until I complained, & even than I was still required to pay more on top. Ridiculous. After complaining Ed also wasn't friendly as when I first came in. End product was still not the best for amount of money I spent. It was a two day ordeal. Wast of my time. I had something going on w my aux in the car. I called and was told to come by. I saw they closed at 6, so I figured I had time. I got there at like 5:45 but they were closed. The guy (I didn't get a name) was walking out and told me the hours on Yelp were wrong O_O he still took the time to help me diagnose my issue! It required a new aux adapter, and I'm back good as new. He was totally off the clock and could've been like sorry, but he didn't. I'd def go back for any further issues. Again, I have taken my brand new cars to Al and Eds for the installation of dash cams on three of my cars, and radar detectors on two of them. Business hours published say open at 10am. The guy managing the shop turns up at 9.58 and seems incredibly bothered that I walk in at 10am to buy something. He explains that he needs "15 minutes to get ready" flailing his arms in every direction. Why not turn up at 9.30am and prep your business for the hours you claim to be open? LOL, people! THIS GUY PROMISES AN EXPENSIVE UNICORN AND DELIVERS AN EVEN MORE EXPENSIVE JACK ASS. EVERYONE READ. What he says takes 3 days of work was made to be 3 weeks because he doesn't have anyone working 6 out of the 7 days? What kind of business only has 1 guy working 1 out of the 7 days, so the car was kept from me for 3 weeks because the technician only shows up on Mondays. Fine. Whatever. As long as I'm getting quality sound, I'm good with that. but this isn't even a fraction of the nightmare with this guy Joe He had to keep the car for 3 weeks, not because it was 3 weeks of work, but because the technician only shows up Mondays? fine I'm thinking it must be a really good technician and is good at what he does since he must clearly be so busy not to be able to make it at his job more than 1 day out of the week. He installed a ridiculously poor quality system (focals) that he charged me $7k for. I told him he had to make it right, and he lied and says the speakers alone cost 15k. I reached out and asked him to uninstall it and install something that actually had an iota of base. He didn't uninstall the focal, he just took out the speakers dog piled them in a box and gave it to me and put a 50lb box with 2 12 alpine speakers and installed the system for that. on top of the focal that was installed previously. Doesn't even bother to uninstall the first unit. Btw, after i finally got done dealing with the 50lbs box that would barely allow the trunk to close and was yet of poor quality. Just got tired of dealing with it. Who wants a huge box in their trunk, I trusted this guy. Then I was stuck, after 1 year, I called him to uninstall and just put the stock system back in. I asked him how much the alpine speakers would go for if I try to sell them, he said 100 dollars ea. See text below. This is the quality you're getting for the 1000s upon 1000s you're paying. And he's rebuttal is that they go down in value. Not by 99% lol. Who are you trying to fool? This con man will con you to your face and repeatedly insult your intelligence on cruise control. Deliberately add insult to injury. He has no limit See below, this is all coming from him. This is how this man talks in circles and keeps changing his story and cost at any given point. The new system he installed didn't cost a fraction of what the focals actually costs, so he installed something of even lesser value, and didn't refund me anything for the flop system. The new system actually had some base. But that's it. No surround sound, it actually disconnects it, if you can't do a job that yields the value and sound congruent to what a 135000 dollar AMG sound system should sound like, then you simply don't take the job, and you sure as hell you don't reem someone for 7k for ABSOLUTE FING GARBAGE! For 7000 dollars you'd think it would have surround sound at the very least and it sounding epic. It actually disconnected the surround sound option from what the car originally has and the new system which just makes noise with base that required 2 12s to make it sound not even close to what the car had originally. The reason I didn't keep my cars original system because Mercedes subwoofer kept going out, factory defect. Long story short he just left the old garbage that was in there, and tossed the speakers he claimed was 15k in a box all piled on one another, sort of what you treat trash like and let me keep it. Clearly that's what it was. (so much for it being 15k, see below what everything cost as per his text a couple years later, guess you forgot your lines when you're lying) He puts a 50lbs wooden box with garbage alpine 2 12 inch speakers and adds all this weight to the car with no other room left in the trunk while the trunk hits the corner of the box everytime I close it. mind you, it's a AMG gts, it had plenty of space in the back, he just filled it up with a 36 inch wide box and just completely ruined the aesthetics or what he needed to deliver on. Someone that's in the business that saw it and said he would have done that level work for a cheese burger and this guy charged me 24 hour labor at 125 dollars an hour!!!!!!!! 3 grand! I tried to deal with it for as long as I could, but the quality was so poor i had it uninstalled and this parasitic excuse for a business charged me another 300 for uninstalling it. Look at the texts below, with the new system he installed both systems focal and alpine with everything it comes with that comprises the entire system plus a cerwin Vega whatever that is doesn't even come out to 4k. I asked him 4k so you charged me 3k for labor? He says yes it's 8 hours a day 3 days that's 24 hours of labor and what does he charge an hour he says? 125 an hour. 125 an hour for a stereo installation? I tried and I tried for this leech to give me some sort of credit back, he wouldn't give me a nickel back for clearly ripping me off and all the headache it caused. This guy is a rl s bg . The owner was talking to someone at the front desk and ignored me for a good fifteen minutes after I arrived. He didn't greet me or tell me he would be with me shortly. I just stood there for fifteen minutes while he ignored me. Had it been up to me I would have left, but my husband pulled up and I let him take over. My husband will go back. I will not. I have an 2002 Lexus SC430 in mint condition. Problem was it had a great Mark Levinson stereo in it. Best for the day. BUT.....NO aux plug, no Bluetooth and no update on the navigation system. Walked in just to see if anything could get done without costing an arm and a leg. Man was I pleased. Manager suggested a unit that compliments the Mark Levinson power amp, speakers and kept the aesthetics of the Lexus dash. I added a back up camera that was well hidden in the rear bumper (no holes drilled) that uses the new unit screen. Been using it now for 180 days and no problems whatsoever. Installation was clean and delivered within the time promised back. I was worried about the dash being 20+ years old and things breaking....nothing like that happened. I brought my car to get a new radio in. The guy was really nice nothing against him. But they broke my plastic pieces and he said the weather can make it more fragile over time which I guess it could be it. But then the pieces didn't all fit in properly. Parts are crooked and he told me that's just how it goes In. It was all perfectly nice and straight before the new radio. So maybe her a new technician guy because he did do a bad job on it. read more
