I found Audio Dreams through Yelp and decided to move forward with them since I had a positive interaction with Sam as I asked questions about the service and the pricing was more than fair. Among best of the businesses I contacted. I was able to make an appointment for the following Saturday at 10am for both my dad's car and for my car. The day before I called and asked if there was a seating area. They mentioned there are 2 chairs in the sales floor or an IHOP or Starbucks in the same plaza that their customers usually go to. That was helpful for me to plan my day. When we arrived Ferris welcomed us in. He was very nice and thorough with his explanation of the device and where they planned the placement. All sounds great. I left my number with Sam and Ferris, and my dad and went for breakfast at IHOP. I received a call from Sam in about an hour and a half that both cars were done. Wow that was so quick. We walked back over. When paying I saw that there was also a 1 year warrantee with the services. What a deal! Afterwards Randy, who I believe was the installer, showed us the devices in the car and helped us connect it to an app where we can see the front cam and back cam. The installation was very professional and tucked in strategic spots so they don't disrupt your view. It was hard wired in so I didn't need to plug it into the outlet/socket. Staff here is all so kind and helpful. They were very professional and patient with us throughout the whole experience. After much consideration, I decided it was time to replace her stereo with something that had a few more bells and whistles. I wound up putting a project out and collecting bids with the best experience coming from Planet Stereo. Gilbert offered a great price, now let's go through the actual installation. I was quoted $500 out the door for a mechless receiver and all of the aftermarket parts to install. It was quite a steal. After looking up the specific stereo, I figured this was acceptable and made the drive. Gilbert suggested the install would take about 2 hours, so I planned for a good amount of time for this. Now, it did take longer than expected. However, I was warned of that when I arrived, as they were busier than normal the day I opted to drive over. They do have a lounge area where you can sit and watch TV while you wait. I would suggest bringing something to snack on. There are some restaurants somewhat nearby, but refreshments while at the store are lacking. That said, I was comfortable enough watching a Rams game while they worked away. The result was a perfect install. They did apologize for the length of time, but I was okay with that, since I got to watch the entire game. The gentleman working the floor (forgot your name, sorry!) walked me out to check out the job and show me some of the basic functions of the new deck. They did need parts that they didn't factor into cost, and included them at no additional charge to me. And the deck, while an off name, did have some very important features like wireless Apple CarPlay - a huge win at that price point. They even have a finance option, which can amount to 90 days same as cash (with small processing fee) or longer terms if needed. Great install, and great staff. Higher end options also available if you have the budget, which I did not.

Also bonus, the voice command button on steering wheel activates siri when using car play! I only say that because my 5th gen 4runner (2021) that comes with carplay from factory, button does not call siri on stock radio. Still enjoying gigantic display! Only reason i am keeping at 4star: car comes with multiple usb output. Headunit will not engage in carplay (even if i am using correct designated usb wire for carplay), if another iphone is connected at same time to other output. Fix: just use one USB!

Fast forward.... 12/11/25... No radio nor email updates! I phoned Phoenix Radio and spoke with a Filipino woman. This woman told me the radio had just passed testing and was ready to be shipped. She could not provide me with an actual shipping date nor reason for the delay. I requested to speak to a supervisor and was told one would contact me after they arrive to work at 10 AM. 12 PM and no phone call. I again phoned Phoenix Radio and spoke with a Filipino male. I advised him of the issue and told him I would be leaving for a vacation and I would not be back until the beginning of 2026. I asked if they could rush shipping to arrive before 12/15 as that is a day I am leaving for my vacation. I told them that after that date there would not be anyone to sign for, nor receive the radio. I also told him if left on the doorstep for three weeks, the radio had a good chance of being stolen. I told him I wanted to speak to a supervisor about my missing radio. He placed me on hold for over 20 minutes!!! I again found Phoenix Radio and spoke with the same Filipino male. His attitude was now rude and surly. He now told me the company did not have a unit in stock for my truck!!! How could this be?? I told him his company held my payment funds for over two weeks when their company did not have a radio in stock. I told them this was fraud! When I ordered the radio and Phoenix Radio took my payment, that indicated to me they had a radio in stock as their website implied!! Anyway, in my opinion, Phoenix RadioRadio is a scam, has zero customer support, lies, and has rude staff! I would think twice about ordering from this company!
