If you're looking for a gym that's crawling with bro-y, unfriendly, competitive, unhelpful athletes…read morewho take no interest in your personal life and disregard you entirely if you don't have 4% body fat and a 400 lb front squat, Bombers isn't your gym. I'm not a natural athlete. Never have been. I was that kid that actually tried to get hit during dodgeball so I could be out of the game and watch safety from the sidelines. So you can understand my wariness of crossfit and the "cult mentality" that makes it so easy to make fun of on social media. But wandering in those doors one afternoon last fall (knowing no one or nothing about crossfit) was one of the best happenstance events of my life. Me before Bombers: bony, underweight, with no muscle tone due to unhealthy restrictive eating, no knowledge of how to do anything with a bar, couldn't do one push up. Terrible lack of confidence in my coordination, body, and athletic abilities. Now? I've become so much more confident in myself both athletically and as a person. I eat more. I can do RX pull-ups, push ups, and even pistols (on one leg, that is. Still working on the other leg). I had to buy all new pants because of my quad gains. But most importantly? I've made some of the best friends I've ever had. The coaches at Bombers are incredibly kind, personable, and approachable. They WILL do whatever it takes to help you succeed. They're motivating, affirming, and just downright good people. Bottom line: It doesn't matter what your level of fitness is. Don't think you can't do crossfit because you're not at a "certain point." You CAN. And Bombers is the place to do it. Just show up.

I cannot say enough good things about this gym. What stands out to me the most is not the coaches…read more All of them are very, very knowledgeable yes, but what makes them stand out in my mind is their ability to foster a community that is so supportive of each other. From my first class their as someone who barely knew what Crossfit was I felt so welcome and the coaches and other athletes in the class enthusiastically met me where I was at and pushed me at my own pace towards my own aspirations. Beyond that, going to class was one of the parts of my day that I looked forward to the most simply because I would get to see the people that I quickly called my friends and the workout was an added bonus. The only reason I'm leaving the gym is because I have to move away for work, but it will be a part of my day that I truly miss!

I love going to classes where I'm going to get a different workout in than my usual, and Studio Torch is that for me. It's typically a HITT workout, but you can sign up for different types of classes on different days like arms, cardio, or glutes and legs! I like that you can chose- but each day there is definitely a cardio aspect. The instructors are high energy and the atmosphere is intense, great for working out if that's what you like!! I always feel amazing after. There's also MANY times so you will definitely be able to accommodate any schedule.

Each class is challenging and I do believe that my strength and endurance have both improved significantly. If you're someone who doesn't like running (like me), the great thing about Studio Torch is that you won't be running more than 7 minutes max. The classes are in the form of stations with varying reps, times, distances, and number of times you rotate around the room. The community and staff are also part of why I enjoy it so much. Their weekly schedule is as follows: Monday Arms and Abs, Tuesday Total Body Circuit, Wednesday Butt and Legs, Thursday Total Body Tabata, Friday Cardio and Core, Saturday Total Body, and Sunday Total Body. If you're looking to trial the place, they do a week unlimited for $10! Hands down favorite place to workout.

He was supposed to bill the fees in 3 separate monthly payments. He billed the first payment up front and my wife took her first session. It didn't go well for her at all. Because of her TBI she found that she could not comprehend the instructions and could not keep up with everyone else. She came home in dismay. She went back for a second session and realized that it just wasn't going to work. She talked to the Owner and they agreed that she would leave the group and cancel the plan. After all this they then billed me for the second installment. When I realized it I called to complain and the Owner said he was very busy but would look into it. I called twice more and then eventually they stopped answering. They never got back to me and never refunded my money. So they stole from me with no regrets. Must be pretty desperate.
