So I have been going to seattle for the past couple years because my brother lives there. So on a vacation, I like to relax and I have been wanting to get a legit deep tissue massage. My shoulders and neck have been very stiff and definitely needed someone to really get in there and relax my muscles (haha). So I told my brother that we should get massages and his awesome girlfriend found this place. It had glowing reviews and was not that far from their place. So this place is located in the Kent valley, not that far from seattle. This place can be hard to find. It's located in the leasing office of an apartment complex that looks like a bavarian town (haha). You will turn into the apartment complex and there are signs on the side but they can be easy to miss but just keep going until you get to the leasing office. The place is really relaxing, there's relaxing music and the office smells amazing! Michael is a very friendly person, funny, and professional guy. The massage was amazingggggg, best massage ever! Man, Michael really got into my back and it was a LEGIT deep tissue massage. He really dug into my muscles and it was a good pain (haha). I have been needing, wanting and looking for someone to give me a really great tissue massage, sadly for me he's in WA. He is very open and tells you what he's going to do so you feel comfortable. Sometimes it can be weird being naked with a total stranger, massaging you but he makes it a very safe and comfortable experience. He is the only one there because he has had a bit of trouble finding people that have strong thumbs (haha). So he can get pretty booked. I went for 1 hour and it was not enough! The massage is soooooo awesome that honestly, you lose track of time and it feels like it was not enough. The next time I'm in WA, I must book at least a 2 hour massage lol

Michael is an amazing massage therapist; I have nothing bad to say about him or the massages I have ever gotten from him.

I don't get a massage too often -- it's a special treat when I do, and I tend to have high…read moreexpectations. This place definitely met them. The room is nicely decorated, with soft music playing, and Sandi made sure to ask what areas were bothering me, and what I was looking for in my massage (what style of massage, how firm a touch I wanted, etc.). I went in there having been stiff and sore in my neck and shoulders for a couple of weeks, and left feeling like a new woman! She did a skillful job of working out all the tension from my very stiff muscles and also of seeking occasional feedback to make sure I was getting what I wanted. Looking for a great massage? Give Sandi a try!

I had my first massage with Sandi yesterday morning. The atmosphere of her massage room was so peaceful, perfect for a massage. She played peaceful/calming music during the massage that put me in a relaxing state immediately. The massage itself was incredible. She knew exactly what spots needed special focus, the pressure was just perfect, and she checked in periodically to see if it was too much or too little pressure. My comfort was her number one concern. She even made sure the room was at the perfect temperature, making sure I wasn't too cold or warm. I will definitely being go back for more massages from Sandi.

I recently went to this studio for the first time and left very distressed. Before my appointment,…read moreI filled out the studio's online intake and consent forms. On the forms, I clearly indicated two areas of my body where I did NOT want to be touched. During the massage, my therapist touched those zoned off areas three times. The first time, it shocked me because I had clearly not consented to that area being worked on. I quickly asked the therapist to not touch me there and she didn't even verbally acknowledge me--she just moved her hands. It was deeply unsettling, and it happened two more times. I couldn't believe it. In the end, I paid over $200 for a session that left me feeling violated instead of rejuvenated. I don't know if this happened due to a lack of therapist training or a procedural failure. In either case, my consent form clearly wasn't reviewed in advance. I have attempted to resolve this issue privately with the studio by submitting feedback through their Listen360 survey (which I assume is not anonymous because it collects my initials). I waited a week for a response, but none came. I'm sharing this story because we ALL deserve to feel safe, heard, and respected in their own bodies. I hope the studio takes this seriously and ensures nothing like this happens again.
