Julio came to inspect the area the next day, explained everything that was going on patiently and carefully and sent me a quote with the different alternatives and offered a detailed timeline that same day. He was very attentive to the time-sensitive character of the work and walked us through all the technical requirements of the job. The price he offered was basically the same a the one we ended up going for. We did not end up working with Julio because he did not have availability this week but we had an excellent experience and his opinion fully coincided with the one of the company we ended up working with (given that their schedule was more compatible with our needs). I really appreciated Julio's profesionalism and I will definitely keep Castillo's Hardwood Floor in mind for future flooring jobs.

I would not use this company again. The salesperson told me the boards needed to be replaced and…read morequoted me for that work. When the installer team came out, they did not replace the boards and told me new boards were unnecessary. I was still charged for the board replacements anyway. I disputed this directly with the company on March 19th, the day of the installation, and did not receive a follow-up. I had to reach back out on March 31st to continue addressing the issue. At that point, they asked for photos, despite my earlier explanation that photos would not prove anything because of the nature of the work. Today, they responded by saying the pictures were "not proof" and agreed to issue a refund, but only after I pushed the issue. At that point, it's no longer just about the money. It's about integrity, poor internal communication, and how a legitimate customer concerns are handled by this business.
