The design I had in mind had tons of colors, was a little complicated and I wanted to tweak it a bit and she spent a good bit of time with me picking out the perfect colors to bring my vision (well, insta's vision) to life. I'm so happy with the outcome! I am so glad my friend introduced me to YOLO! Also, the new location (just upstairs, lol) is a whole vibe. The space is large, has natural light and the decor is gorg. When I initially texted the salon, I inquired about a refill but I ultimately decided on a full set because I noticed several nails lifting. I booked a "hard gel full set" and called the salon prior to my appointment to confirm that removal of my existing set was included. I was assured that it was. At check-in today, I asked again and the receptionist confirmed removal was included. However, once the service began, they refused to remove my existing set--even after I repeatedly asked. Instead, they insisted on working over a set that was done at a different salon, saying it would "save me money" and that my current set still looked good. I never asked to save money and did not want to work over my current set. While, I appreciate them giving me the option to keep my current set, it's ultimately my choice if I want to keep the set or remove it. The pricing is clearly listed on their website, and I booked accordingly and paid the $90 deposit. I knew that I'd be paying more for a full set. I specifically wanted a completely fresh set to start the new year, which is why I booked this appointment in the first place. Additionally, one of my cuticles was cut too deeply and it's bleeding. On a positive note, I did receive the color I requested, and the gel application itself was neat. However, I was disappointed that the service I booked and confirmed multiple times was ultimately not honored.

The salon is always welcoming and professional and I've never felt rushed. I especially love is their loyalty program, where you earn rewards after 10 visits, which is a great bonus !

I was in a rush and she got my nails don't in less than 20 min and still had time for the filing and hand massage! Truly she was amazing and they came out looking spectacular. The space is very cute and calming! Really enjoyed the set up and experience. Would probably recommend staying longer than 20 min just to soak it all in. Vibe was chill too, and thankfully two hours of parking in the garage makes it easy to visit. But they undid my partner's acrylics without warning. In fact, when she let them know she has them, they acknowledged and then proceeded to work on removing them anyway. And since they're a "non-toxic" salon, they handwaved it away saying they couldn't fix it. It's unfortunate too because given the price paid, if they had at least asked her if she wanted her acrylics gone before proceeding to unglue them, she would've backed out of having her nails done and we would've enjoyed our time otherwise. But instead this happened and there was no effort made to make it right. I wasn't keen on raising a fuss after I mentioned that it "could've gone better if they hadn't removed the acrylic without asking" and they didn't make an effort to make it right, so I ended up just paying the bill. If you're doing anything more than basic work and especially if you already have anything preexisting you'd like to preserve, avoid this place. There really will be nothing in between them and your nails, whether you want it or not. Worst part was, it was her birthday. --- Edited to add before/during/after photos (before and during were impromptu, so they're not the best, but they were the day of) showing the outcome as well as an image of their listing where they certified that they do acrylics, which was why she picked them in the first place. So to see that they advertised acrylics and then claimed they don't do acrylics after ruining hers boils my blood. They even advertise nail repair and nail fill-ins here on yelp but couldn't be bothered to do either. Don't really know what to do here, so I hope you enjoyed reading I guess.

I called to get it fixed but they don't have any availability to fix my chipped nail today or tomorrow after work.... I can't imagine one nail would take that long.
