I arrived fifteen minutes in advance at their desk located near the International Arrivals exit across from door 12 as printed instructions on their voucher states, to find no staff. No signage that the desk was closed. After waiting ten minutes, I called their 800 number and held for nine minutes before my call was answered to be told that "you need to be at door 5 for pick up and the door 12 desk had been closed..." Much easier said than fucking done when carrying a ski bag, ski boot bag and suitcase. So I missed my shuttle and had to wait 90 minutes for the next, and was beyond furious. The super nice lady at the door 5 desk was empathetic, provided dining options and rescheduled me for the next shuttle. The return ride was smoother and pick up was timely from my hotel. No issues with bus rides to Banff or return to Calgary airport. Bus drivers were nice.

I booked a hummer limo for my son and his friends for grad and the limo pulled up with flashing lights, eye balls in the windscreen and "hummer daddy" across the rear window. The limo was looking quite rough. But initially I thought oh well they'll have fun still. Before my son and his friends were dropped off at BMO Center for their grad banquet, it broke down. The driver then told them to walk. At no point did the company call me to explain, offer an alternative or even tell me what happened. They just told the kids to get out and walk. The company hasn't even had the decency to yet provide me an explanation as to what happened and how they intend to make this situation right. Their claims of safety fail every box they claim to check. Unprofessional, unsafe and not worth your business.

The night before our flight, our airline announced that our flight was delayed by 1/2 an hour. We sent a email that night to Banff Explorer requesting that our shuttle be changed from 11 AM to 12:30 PM. Laura M from Customer Service was great! The next morning, she changed our tickets to the requested time. After our flight landed, it looked like we could make the 11 AM shuttle. We requested via email that the shuttle be changed back to the original time. Laura helped us change it back to 11 AM. We were grateful for the excellent level of customer service. Based on the language on the ticket, we weren't sure how flexible they would be. We were happy that they were able to accommodate flight delays. The pickup and shuttle ride all went smoothly. We checked in about 10 minutes prior to the shuttle. It was a comfortable ride, with 9 passengers in a small bus that seated 11 people. We used their services a second time for our return trip from Banff to Calgary Airport. It went very smoothly. The shuttle was there early, left on time and arrived on schedule. We highly recommend their services.

I went there for insurance, car and house some months ago. Told I must join, so did that. Complained, and was told the insurance manager would phone me, but it never happened. Was told when I went back, to buy insurance elsewhere. Went in to complain to the manager of that location and was told she wasn't there that day but she would call. Never happened. Went there today to but a license plate for a vehicle I had just purchased, and now there is no lineup like there used to be, but was told to register and sit in the waiting room where people had been waiting for better than 20 minutes just to talk to someone. In my opinion, this location has reached bottom and has started to dig.

The worst rental car experience I have ever had…read more We were scheduled to pick up two standard SUVs at 6pm after we arrived from our flight. Our flight was slightly delayed and so we did not end up making it over to the rental car counter until about 7pm. Once we made it to the counter, the lady estimated that it would be a twenty minute wait. We waited about 40 minutes and then went up and spoke to her because we started to talk to the people around us who were saying they had also been waiting over an hour on a car. When we talked to the lady at the desk she told us that someone had to go over to the other location to pick up our cars and that they were on the way. Another twenty minutes go by and we wait. We ask her again and she then says that she is unsure if we will be able to get our size of car that we reserved. She asks if we can accept another car. Unfortunately, even with the standard SUVs, it will be a tight squeeze, so we cannot switch. Also, she told us previously that the car was on the way? So this must have been a lie. In addition to the initial lie she told us that it would be 20 minutes until our car arrived (since everyone around us waited at least an hour and a half). Another 25 minutes go by. By this point, everyone in our group is cursing Enterprise's name and saying we will never rent from them again. We ask to talk to a manager. And magic! Somehow, five minutes later, when we go back to the back, the manager has gotten our cars ready and is waving our keys because he knows that he was about to deal with some very angry customers. I would also like to note that when we went to the back, there was a big tray of sushi and about 5 people sitting around, not working. Very confusing because the manager, when explaining why things took so long, told us that they were low staffed. But it just looks like the staff were too busy eating sushi to do their jobs, and the manager was fine with us waiting an hour and a half while he had plenty of staff sitting around. They're conveniently located at the international Airport, which was great for customers traveling with luggage. The staff that assisted us with the vehicle were very professional, but we were a little surprised that our vehicle had some damage upon our pickup. So of course we took photos and videos, so we won't have any issues upon us returning the vehicle in a few days. I've rented cars on multiple occasions during our travels, and this was the first time in the last 10yrs that I never received a receipt after I returned the vehicle. It's now been 10 days since we returned the vehicle on June 1st, and we are still waiting for our receipt to be emailed to us. Our overall experience was good, and we were eventually charged correctly based on our reservations. I'm not sure if this enterprise location is just super busy or if they're under staffed, but we've definitely had better customer service with other companies.

Needless to say, with the recent wildfire evacuations and travel advisories to not travel to Kelowna (two days before our flight), we were disappointed to have to cancel our trip. As we were coming from the U.S., there was simply too much to chance in making the journey. An overnight host in Kelowna told us not to come as he was evacuated, as well. The strict cancellation policy is completely understandable, but perhaps in this new normal of constant wildfires and the consequences of global warming, an updated, more flexible policy is in order, especially when emergency/national warnings and evacuations are implemented.
