Traumatic and Misrepresented Experience AirScupt I am sharing my experience at AirSculpt Chicago to help others make an informed decision. My experience was deeply traumatic and not at all as advertised. During my consultation, I was told I was a candidate for a BBL (Brazilian Butt Lift). The plan was to remove fat from specific areas of my body and transfer it to my buttocks. I agreed to the plan, and paid in full. On the day of the procedure, the doctor refused to perform the areas we had agreed upon, claiming they were "not good options" and that I supposedly did not have enough fat for a transfer. This was directly contrary to what was discussed and paid for, leaving me feeling misled and disregarded. My appointment was scheduled for 7:00 AM. I arrived on time, but I had to wait over three hours before the procedure even began. I sat alone in a cold room, partially undressed, with no explanation or comfort offered. When the procedure finally began, the doctor used a capsule-like device to create the incisions. The assistants did nothing to help -- they simply watched. Through these incisions, approximately two liters of fluid were injected into my body. The long, thick cannula tore through my tissue, causing intense and excruciating pain. I repeatedly informed the staff of the pain, but they ignored me, only saying, "Take a deep breath." The fat-removal process that followed was equally agonizing. At one point, the doctor left the room for about 15 minutes, leaving me cold, frightened, and in pain. When he returned, an oral oxygen was given that caused dizziness but provided no relief. After the procedure, I was quickly dressed, fitted into a compression garment, and handed a small bottle of water and a protein bar. I was sent home while still bleeding from multiple incision points. By the time I arrived home, my clothes and car were soaked in blood. The next morning, I awoke in severe pain, with dried blood all over my body and bedding. This experience was physically and emotionally devastating. AirSculpt promotes their procedures as gentle, minimally invasive, and safe -- my experience was the opposite. Communication was poor, the procedure was extremely painful, and postoperative care was inadequate. I felt deceived, neglected, and unsafe. Final Note / Warning: Please think twice before choosing this clinic. I do not recommend AirSculpt Chicago. This was the most traumatic and painful experience of my life. I hope that by sharing my story, others can avoid a similar ordeal. read more

I got my surgery in March 2020. Even five years later, it was the worst decision of my life. The parts of my body where fat was removed are disfigured now and do not look natural at all. I wish I could rewind time and change my mind. The procedure felt rushed and I never had any of the following appointments. It was horrible!!! I wanted to do a few areas and retouch my waist and abdomen which I had done before. During the consultation I made Dr Vagotis aware. The day of the surgery I was given 1/2 a Xanax and 1 shot of Demerol . When in the OR I felt so much pain! The gas tank wasn't really releasing anything and the pain was unbearable. I was jumping involuntarily due to the pain and the Doctor was very upset! I asked her to please give me more medication to help me not be so concilia and she refused. She said that there was a lot of scar tissue and that made it more painful, which is true. But the level of pain was unbearable ! Even the areas that had no scars were extremely painful. She said ' I wouldn't do this awake and I am not getting much fat out but we are here so might as well" very unprofessional ! She moved my arm in a forceful way since she was upset and said you are not being very good. After begging for more meds she gave me another shot of Demerol which helped but wasn't enough ! The Dr wasn't even able to get much fat out and a lot of blood was coming out, to the point of she saying take iron pills for a month. She was rushing to be done and just walked out of the OR. She never called or followed up. After spending $21k I was treated very inhumanly. Voicing this to the manager she offered me $500 off my next procedure and if I booked my arms with them I would receive a smooth treatment. Only 900ml of fat/ blood were extracted which I doubt will give me any results! I should be refunded ! Today I had my arms , thighs and hips done at Sono Bello. What a difference! First it's half the price, second Dr Flagg is amazing! I didn't feel pain at all, even in the repeated areas! When I got uncomfortable, they made sure I was ok and took measurement to correct it. I was even asleep! Later he called me to make sure I was ok, went over my questions and basic needs and gave me his cell phone number in case I needed something. read more

I waited awhile to post this review since I was told to wait 6 months from the procedure. It has now been 7 months since what I call the biggest regret of my life. I understand that it has been during covid (the operation was done the day before the government lock down). I'm writing this to hopeful discourage people from living through what I have. 1. 7 months later, I have weird bulges over my body that look like a botched surgery. I went here to try to gain confidence in my body and it ended up significantly worse. 2. I asked specific questions about the garment you wear after surgery and received answers that did not match what actually happened 3. I was told by my surgeon that my surgery would be good to go. Then on the day of my surgery (as I was standing essentially naked) they told me I would have to come back for another session 4. They talked frequently about the follow up that would happen. I have had no follow up that wasn't initiated by me. I have never felt less cared for. It was clear it was all about profit and nothing about me as a person. Do yourself a favor and stay away. I waited a year before posting this as I wanted to give my body a chance to heal. I am absolutely devastated by my experience at Elite and caution everyone to please stay away! It began with me wanting to do a min invasive procedure and doing a ton of research. I was convinced by all the marketing material published by Airsculpt and I am also a super busy professional so loved the idea of being able to return to work quickly. Here is what happened: 1. Day of procedure scheduled for 1pm, I was kept waiting 2.5 hours before they were ready to take me as they were "running late". The procedure that was said to be about 3h also took longer and it was 7h from the time I got there to when I left. 2. I asked if they would fit me into a compression garment prior to to ensure the right one would work and they said "no" they have standard ones they use and I would be put into it after the surgery 3. About 5-10 minutes right before the procedure (abs and flanks), the nurse warned me and said the recovery process was "serious" and the marketing material and everything I was told wasn't completely correct and did not do the procedure justice. That recovery was not going to be fast. It took me at least 3 months to be able to resume squats, lunges etc 4. While they say you are and can be awake during this time, they majorly drug you up and I woke up 3/4 of the way in and was screaming because of the pain, the nurse held my arms down 5. After procedure I was placed into a garnet with large maxi pads to soak the draining fluid. The marketing literature says to place a towel on your bed when you get home... my entire mattress was soaked. 6. The compression garment was horrifically tight and caused additional scaring. I complained and was given a generic compression binder. That was really awful too and I mentioned my pain and was told to keep wearing it. This caused indents in my skin/body that are there a year after the procedure. I had to do my own research and find and pay for another garment 7. Dr Bazell did a horrible job and I have been struggling with the unevenness, ripples, burned skin and discoloration. When I went back I at my 1 week, 3 month and 6 month points I was told I was "still healing". And he mentioned my option if it didn't heal as it "should" is I could pay for fat grating or another procedure from him! A year after my procure the issues are still there. Going to 3-4 other surgeons for second options they all agreed that the surgeon was not as skilled or careful as he should have been 8. My last email them the manager never responded 9. A year later I have now spent more than the cost of the procedure on non invasive methods to correct it but I may need to face re-corrective surgery due to the degree of the problems These are just highlights of my experience. I deeply regret this decision. While they say every experience is different and I agree with this, I am certain there are so so many more women and men who like me, share this common experience but were too embarrassed to post anything about it. My hope is this post helps others to decide where to go. If I had read a review like this, I would have never ever gone with this place/Dr Bazell. read more

I has the best experience at Elite! From the 1st appointment all the way through 3 months post-op, the staff has been amazing! The procedure was exactly what they describe and what you see in the IG videos. I was very skeptical, but when I tell you I am so grateful I did this procedure, I mean it! I was very skeptical coming in since I wasn't sure of what to expect coming here, it seemed surreal to be completely awake and up and running the follow day. I will have to say that when first coming here, all skepticism went out the window. Everyone is so friendly and I was assured that everything would be fine and I really don't need a whole lot of days out of work to heal. I was able to work remotely the next day after the surgery and in the office the day after. I felt sore and didn't really need the pain meds. I only had to take a half day since I decided to have the surgery on a Tuesday. I love my results and I couldn't be any happier. This following is the last email communication I sent to EliteBodySculpture's office manager & Dr. Vagotis immediately after my 6mon appt. Ultimately, I was offered revision liposuction of my abdomen only; which I did not accept. I am very skeptical at this point; especially as I no longer feel comfortable trusting EliteBodySculpture to do anything further to my body. Outside of the mediocre results attained, I had a great customer service experience dealing with the office staff and Dr Vagotis is pleasant. During my 6-month appointment while taking photos, you made mention several times that "the hotdog is gone, but the bun is still there." It was my expectation when I had the Back Bra Roll procedure performed, that the back fat --'hotdog & bun' would cease to be an issue. It was never my thought that I would still have any rows of fat after this procedure. Same goes for the Arm liposuction. My arms were the most important of my cosmetic procedures. While there is change, it is not what I believe to be optimal. I still have the appearance of 'bat wings'. There is no denying my arms are smaller, but again, I expected a leaner result. Relating to the full abdomen procedure: At consultation, you asked me to suck in my stomach, and stated I had good muscle tone in my upper abs and could expect a good deal of flattening out in that area (noting that it was protruding). You said my mid to lower abdomen will have loose skin in the areas where stretch marks appear and I should expect sagging skin in those areas where the fat used to be. Which is why in the week preceding my procedures; I decided to add the expense of the 'Tiny Tuck' procedure to address the (some portions of) sagging skin issue of the lower abdomen. My expectations were to be rid of the 'love handles', the muffin top and to have a considerably flatter stomach as presented when I sucked it in. I never expected a tight, flat "wash-board" abdomen, I'm aware this was not abdominoplasty. Dr. Vagotis, at the time you never said you thought my result expectations were unrealistic. Only now that those results were not attained am I hearing that I'm being unrealistic about my end goals. Elite Body Sculpture markets itself as yielding top quality high end results, charging high end prices for that luxury and end result. There is a level of quality lacking in my results that do not match that high end price I invested in the cosmetic procedures performed by you at Elite Body Sculpture. While there is no doubt my body has changed, I rate the overall results as being less than stellar. I am simply disappointed, especially with the considerable amount I invested into these procedures. After thoroughly looking over my Before and After photo's and examining every area of my body that received treatment, I have concluded that revision to all areas that I initially invested in is the only reasonable attempt at resolving the issues I outlined. I was super freaked out walking in and knowing I was about to get air sculpt to my chin. I only had a "virtual"consultation considering I live in another state so it felt a little foreign walking in. This was also my first time getting any cosmetic surgery so that was another factor to my being scared! The moment Kay (the nurse) brought me back I felt so much better knowing she was with me. They're all nice there but she is sooo exceptional! Very sensitive to my feelings and very attentive while I was having the procedure done. Dr. Yessenow was friendly and spoke honestly (as I wanted him to). Once in the procedure room he was all business and got right down to it. The nurse (Kay) attended to me as I had a bit of a moment in the beginning. Soooo I pass out easily (wasn't thinking this would be an issue) and was yellin about how hot I was and that I needed sugar to get my blood sugar up bla bla bla. I was so dramatic and she was so kind and sweet. She got me ice packs and Gatorade and assured me everything was going to be ok. I am so embarrassed I hadn't written a review earlier because this place is AMAZING. Dr. Iteld & his staff were fabulous, friendly and incredibly compassionate. My first appointment had to be rescheduled because of some personal medical issues that were unforeseen and what could have been an embarrassing and unfortunate cancellation was handled with understanding and respect from the Elite office. Dr. Iteld rescheduled me for when the time was right and continued to be an absolute professional. I had air sculpt done to my hips, lower back and abdomen for fat transfer to be injected into my breasts. I LOVE my body. The office is beautiful, the Dr. Iteld is realistic, attentive and very talented. Last, Jatnna, the desk gal that helped booked my consultation made me feel so comfortable and was able to answer any questions I had. The procedure itself was short, painless and honestly, kind of cool/gross to see done all while being awake. The recovery was a breeze and my body took shape almost immediately. Many of my girlfriends were worried my fat transfer wouldn't stay around for my "natural implants" but here I am, a year later, with the same beautiful breasts Dr. Iteld shaped for me. The pictures attached are my before, and my after shot almost an entire year later! I have referred so many women here because of how satisfying my results were. I had my consultation a little over a month ago and the procedure for a fat transfer from my abdomen to my breast done a little over a week ago. Dr. Bazell was my surgeon and from the beginning he made sure I was comfortable and understood the procedure from beginning to end. I went back to work 4 days after the procedure (spring break) and just felt some soreness - nothing unbearable. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful. The actual procedure was as expected. I had a procedure at Elite in April 2019 as a gift to myself. I was torn between going to the Dominican Republic for this procedure (and more) vs. having it done with Elite. Ultimately, I choose to have the procedure done in the U.S. and with Elite because of the sense of assurance that if there are complications, I am in my home country and can get to great medical care immediately. Obviously, there is a cost difference but benefit and piece of mind outweighed the cost. In terms of recovery, Elite offered the shortest time for recovery, which was my primary decision to go with Elite over another provider. Pros: Jatna (who works in the front office as the client coordinator) is great! She's the best face of Elite Body Sculpture in Chicago. She provides great Customer Service and ensures that you understand everything upfront about the procedures, the medical staff, and the cost. Dr. Bazell is wonderful! He has a great bedside manner and he delivers. In my pre-op appointment, he was very direct and realistic of what was possible. The medical staff during the procedure was courteous. The results were immediate for me. I saw results after my procedure and knew that over the next several weeks and months things could only improve for the better. I am very happy with my results! Cons: I wish that there was a FAQ's sheet given to patients before and after each procedure to help with expectations post surgery. Also, I was disappointed that I did not have an in office post surgery appointment in order for the doctor to have a physical assessment of my healing. Instead, I had a phone appointment which I had to call to schedule. Not sure why the post op team was not on top of this! The customer service on the back end (post op) could be improved. While the results are immediate, don't under estimate the recovery process; it is surgery after all. I completely underestimated the pain and discomfort that I would have felt the first two weeks. The compression garment does get uncomfortable, but you get use to it over time. I suggest getting 2 garments if you can. You will have to wash it every 1-3 days during that 2-3 week period. The fluid drainage (which is necessary) goes on for at least 4-5 days for the first week so I would not suggest attending any important events the first 4 days if you unable to properly dress in a manner to accommodate the compression garment with the padding. Recovery is different for everyone...so just be aware. Overall, EBS delivers and results are immediate! I wish that the post-op customer service was just a great and thorough as the pre-op with Jatna! Also wish that EBS could proactively help patients understand what to expect with certain procedures especially if you're a caretaker of children or the e. I'm so glad that I had help around the house and with my kids the first two weeks. read more

I had airsculpt done on Monday and it was a breeze! I was awake the whole time and didn't even need laughing gas. The procedure was painless!! Little pinch then vibration. The best part was seeing the fat in 2 liters that was sucked out! It's 48 hours and my stomach is snatched! A little bruising. The first 24 hours you do feel like you were hit by a truck and can't get out of bed. Today is 48 hours and I took off my garment to shower and I can't stop staring at my newly sculpted body!
