I appreciated the smaller, cozier feel and was even able to find the aisle with bolts myself - but one entire side of the aisle was drawers and drawers of a gazillion bolts and screws. I was able to find a staff member to help me pretty quickly, and he set about looking for a match. It took him about 10 minutes but he did find a match, and then apologized for taking so long. I was overjoyed and said you're amazing! No way would I have found that little piece of metal by myself. I paid my 3 bucks and went on my way. I will definitely turn to Ace Hardware first for all my weird little hardware needs!

It was a considerable expense for the fiberglass doors. The contract includes installation and the measurements for the openings were given to my contractor who followed the dimensions to a tee in making ready the three openings for the install. After a considerable long wait, over 3 months, I got notification that the doors arrived and they were to be delivered to my garage. I was out of town but I had my contractor open the garage door for the delivery and hold on to them. Only two of the doors were delivered on August 19th. Installation was to begin the following Monday. The missing front door was supposed to come on the first day of scheduled install but it did not arrive on Monday, Tuesday, Wed., or Thursday. Install started on Monday, August 25th. My contractor had prepped the openings of all three spaces according to the specs. The third door was still not delivered. I was disappointed that the installers were not careful about the dust, dirt, etc. Any extra demo they needed to do came with complaints and finger pointing. What was supposed to take two days turned into six. When the front door did finally arrive on day 5 of install but it came without the side glass. I know it is not the fault of the installers or Dale but all of us were promised time and time again that the doors and windows would be here on time. Also, the trim on one set of French doors did not match the other which was requested in the order. Still waiting to know when/if that will be changed out. My decorator who helped with the scheduling called PDD&H time and time again for weeks trying to get a firm door delivery date. The office was not at all forth coming. Because contractors are needed both before and after the door installation for the stucco and sheetrock repairs the timing of the deliveries and install are critical. Many schedules had to be rearranged and adjusted for this added time frame. I don't have complaints about the installers, other than for this job they could have used more people to move the project along. They were very committed to their break times, which I completely understand is needed and part of their contracts I'm sure. I stressed the need for keeping things clean and after much persuasion the workers did accommodate. Since Monday is a holiday this job will now be into its second week of progress. Hopefully, this review will be viewed as effort to improve the services at PDD& H.

A really nice sales associate checked with the manager and told us it was on promotion, so he had us bring the item up front to purchase it. When we got to the register, it would not ring up at the promotional price. The manager then came over and immediately started insisting the price was wrong and aggressively trying to prove it to us. After going back and forth, he finally said their system was wrong and claimed this was a model they never carry. The whole interaction was unnecessarily rude and dismissive. He refused to honor the price that was listed online, even though the store staff told us it was on promotion. We can literally still buy it online for the price that brought us into the store in the first place. Way to lose a customer for no reason. If your prices are wrong online, as your own staff said, and your team does not know what is on promotion, that is a management issue, not a customer issue. The sales associate was helpful, but the manager's attitude completely ruined the experience. Rude.

Had two AC pro heat pump systems installed during major remodel of our home. Most everything works…read morevery well EXCEPT: --The wall-mounted thermostat does not integrate with the 1-way ceiling cassettes (rectangular, fits between joists). The wall mounted thermostat is unable to command the cassette's motorized access to filters, i.e. we can't clean the filters. The "fix" was to disconnect the wall mounted thermostat and related interface box, and revert to the hand-held remotes, one each for each of the five ceiling cassettes. --The hand-held remotes do not control the temperature because our rooms are too large for the "follow me" mode to operate (this uses the temperature of the remote to control things). --Overall a strong "do not recommend" for anything over than single-room simple setups because the thermostat setups are nearly useless. --Technical support and documentation support from AC Pro has been sketchy and nearly useless. --The thermostat situation is very unfortunate because the units are quiet and efficient - all I need is a thermostat setup that is actually useable (controls temperature and allows the motorized filters to be accessed).
