Michael does not disappoint! I got in touch with Michael via phone and our phone conservation was lovely! He was super friendly, professional, and very helpful. I honestly did not know what we needed in terms of lights and sound, and he was able to assist with all of that. His emails and invoice statements were very clear and detailed, and nothing was confusing. Not only did Michael work with me, but also my wedding planner. He was super easy going when working with my wedding planner. My husband and I had certain songs that we wanted played during our wedding ceremony, and Michael was super receptive and made it all happen. We copied links of the songs that we wanted and he downloaded them himself with no other requests. The day of our wedding, Michael was on time with a bright smile on his face! We had never met Michael prior to our wedding, but when we did, we were greeted with a such an energetic positive presence, that we knew having Michael do the lights and sound was a great idea. The ceremony sound was perfect. It wasn't too loud or too quiet. Often times during a wedding ceremony the sound can be either, and it was just right. He played the music that we had requested perfectly (to the minute,) and it only made our ceremony that much more beautiful. Our reception was beautiful! The uplights that Michael had used were breathtaking. Lights can do a lot to a room, and the atmosphere wouldn't have been what it was, had it not been for MLS. During our reception we had a separate MC and DJ. That can be a lot of cooks in the kitchen, but Michael was super easy going. He was clear prior what his roles would be for the ceremony and reception, however he didn't hesitate to help when needed. Our MC was a friend, and when our MC friend was having some jitters, Michael said he could do it. Thank you Michael for easy our minds during that whole time. You were soo friendly in such a mildly chaotic moment, that we knew that we had been well taken care of. Our MC friend did end up MCing, but Michael stepped in when needed to help support. The reception itself was ridiculous!!! We had such a great time and the sound and lights really brought everything together when we were on the dance floor. The set up and break down for Michael was great too! He was a one man show that day, but was extremely punctual and positive. We are so lucky to have been introduced to Michael and MLS Sound Services. Sound and lights are things that can really help create a intimate atmosphere at a wedding. We didn't realize how helpful it could be, until we experienced it all. Michael was so easy to work with, professional, punctual, and super friendly! We will definitely be asking Michael to help us again if we ever need his services.

He did a wonderful job at cutting all of the songs for our ceremony processional/recessional, and played all of our requests. The up-lighting added so much dimension to our space and the photobooth was a guest favorite. His props are clean and organized, and he has thousands of photobooth templates to choose from to match the event. He also provided all of the photobooth photos in digital form. This was an unexpected bonus! During our reception, we played the 'Newlywed Game." Alan had the newlywed game theme song and the sounds for the right and wrong answers on cue. The best part about Henry was that he was always extremely responsive, usually within a 1-2 day response. We could always rely on his assistance, which made us easily trust in him completely during the wedding day. When we started selecting our Ceremony songs, he invested his time into sharing us feedback on how long songs should be and how we should go about choosing songs, whether it was for the wedding party, groom, or the bride. Henry provided us with detailed questions to assist him during the full day event. Although it could seem intimidating to have questions presented to you, it ensured that we could fully trust that Henry knew what he was doing. We had absolutely zero concerns leading up to the wedding day. During our pre-wedding day walkthrough meeting, Henry was very considerate of all our requests and was very detail oriented. He offered to cut and edit songs to fit our Grand Entrance, Ceremony, and dance songs. Surprisingly, he even created our 2-minute first dance song by making small tweaks to the beginning and end so the song flowed smoother. Of course, the day of the wedding was an absolute miracle! Henry has the best way of hosting and exciting the crowd!!! He always kept to the timeline, checked in with our planner, and we felt very comfortable the entire day! We provided Henry with a 7 hour dance floor playlist ‍ and he used it so well! The dance floor was fully filled the entire night and he read the room and played all our favorite hits! The company's light rig system was also super cool and had tons of lights and even smoke He also offered to display uplighting around the perimeter of the room which added a lovely touch (lighting makes a huge difference!!!). Yes, it was particular; class reunion. Nothing released after 1984. DJ didn't get the message. He seemed more interested in syncing beats to fade from one song to another. Maybe played a little more than half from the list? Someone had to ask him about his song selection. The response? "It's from 1989. That's the 80's." Only if you think High School and College are the same thing. Had a pissed off bartender grab me to let me know I needed to make a 'last call,' since she asked the DJ and he didn't. In fact, he didn't say anything for the duration. The biggest sin for last. Special request for last song: Don't You Forget About Me. (Yes, 1985. exception to the rule) But, how you'd want to end a reunion, right? The DJ mixed it with a Beastie Boys track. Love me some Beastie, but wrong time, wrong place. Couldn't read a crowd. Would've saved myself a bunch to rent a speaker and hook it up to Spotify.
