I had a couple of nasty chips on my 4Runner's windshield yesterday while in Calgary for a trip…read more I could have waited till I got back home to repair them but I didn't want to risk them spider webbing and become unrepairable. These guys were very professional and got me out the door within 20 minutes. And the price was very reasonable as well. If I lived in Calgary I'd go to them again. Highly recommended.

Great service and nice people but they put a totally crap Benson windshield in my car…read more It cracked on the way home, which to be fair they fixed. But then it cracked shortly after and became WAY more damaged than normal during the timeframe. When getting it replaced again the guy was shocked that they didn't use the right kind of glue, it made a huge disaster, and it wasn't sealed right and now my car has rust. In spite of that, I was charged the same as the next place which put in a much better product. The tech there said it was THE WORST work he's ever seen, and they must have used the cheapest products available on earth. Look at my 2021 car rusting out where they placed the windshield! Terrible. Suffice it to say, I do not recommend this place!

If I could give zero stars, I would. On August 6, 2026, I dropped my 2020 Toyota Sienna off at…read moreCalAlta Autoglass for service. An employee who did not have a valid driver's license drove it and got into an accident, something I only know for certain because of the police report, not because anyone from CalAlta Autoglass told me. Then came the real problem: silence. Seven weeks of it. No call, no update, nothing. The first time anyone from CalAlta Autoglass actually reached out was their general manager, and only after their own insurance company insisted he respond. To this day, I still haven't gotten an apology. When they finally made an offer, it covered about half of what an independent shop quoted for a proper repair, and it relied on recycled parts pulled from other wrecked vehicles plus generic aftermarket parts on my suspension and steering. They described this to me in writing as "OEE" parts, which is a real term, just one used for glass replacement (their actual business), not for collision repair, and it doesn't even appear in their own estimate. A certified collision centre expert confirmed their offer wouldn't actually restore my vehicle to its pre-loss condition. On top of that, no rental vehicle, and no commitment to cover any further damage found once repairs start, both completely standard after an at-fault accident. Their insurer's own Director of Claims later confirmed in writing that the number CalAlta Autoglass was offering doesn't reflect what they actually owe. Worth asking them yourself why their insurer denied coverage in the first place. I'm now over eight weeks without my own vehicle, and I'm taking this to small claims court just to get it fixed the way it should have been from the start. This is where things stand as of today. This is still ongoing, and I'll update this review as it develops. Don't let their other reviews fool you. Find a shop that actually stands behind its work.

Disaster of a sunroof repair. Brought my vehicle in to have the exploded sunroof repaired. Looked…read moregood until I went to open it and it had not been reattached properly with the side rubber guards not attached and the mechanism not siding. When I brought it back, service staff quickly went to show how some parts were only partially attached and left grease marks on interior of the car. Manager came out to say he would go to the dealer the next day to get details on parts and would call me. 2 weeks later I called and he still hadn't gone. Called back a week later and he said I had to stop quick by so he could get part numbers first. Stopped by then he said he'd need to schedule me in for a longer appointment. Brought it back again, and he came out saying they found parts "just laying in the window track" which made no sense as they weren't just laying there when I had it before. Then said he didn't know how to reattach it, but he checked and it would only cost me $250 to take it to the dealer to finish the job. Asked about getting them to cover the cost and he said that wasn't their job, but I could schedule something for them to clean the grease off the fabric. Had husband call and describe what our mechanic said and left a message for the owner to call. It's been another week and nothing.

I believe in writing reviews to spread the word about businesses who are a step-above the rest - so…read morehere it is. Windshield Surgeons don't advertise as others do - they simply rely on Word-of-Mouth; and clearly they don't need to change this model because they're always busy. Why? Because as far as Customer Service and Autoglass services go - they're phenomenal (and no, I don't have shares in this company). I was lucky to have heard about them through a couple of my Cousins who had gotten their Windshield replaced by them weeks earlier. However, being the stubborn person I am - I still called around and collected quotes from 5 different Autoglass Shops to compare. In the end, it didn't matter - Windshield Surgeons came in with the lowest price for the work I needed to have done. Not only that - what impressed me was their impeccable Customer Service. From the moment I called - their Call Centre Reps were extremely friendly but not fake. They were efficient and though you could tell they too were swamped - they patiently answered all my questions and didn't rush me off the phone. They booked me in as early as possible which was for the next day! Then, when I arrived at the shop (South Location in Calgary, AB) the team welcomed me and didn't treat me like another number. Thus causing me to feel relaxed as I waited for my Windshield to be replaced. In the end, their work was perfect and I couldn't be happier. The only reason why I am here now is because of course I got a chip in my windshield the day before last driving on the freeway :-( but my mind is at ease knowing the Windshield Surgeons have my back. I highly recommend letting them have your back too. :-) And look at that - in and out in under 20 minutes! Such a no-brainer! Choose Windshield Surgeons!
