Our AC unit stopped working during a heat wave on Sunday. Joe was able to come out and make the AC like new in less than an hour. Go with Joe. read more

Incredible, thoughtful and gracious service. Joe Hunt came when promised, assessed, recommended an appropriate AC solution for a small apartment and did the work himself. My tenants are thrilled and so am I. read more

Worked directly with Joe, all of the correspondence was very timely and professional. He was very straightforward and ensured that I was only getting the services that would actually benefit me / fit what I wanted. My attic was poorly setup to install an air filtration system and he spent extra time sourcing parts to install it without changing my originally quoted price despite having valid reasons to do so. Definitely earned another unwavering customer, I would very highly recommend using Air Support Heating and AC. read more

Joseph is very knowledgeable, professional and courteous! I'm a real estate agent and I highly recommend Joseph and his team! My clients had recurring issues with their HVAC system. Joseph went above and beyond to identify , explain and correct the underlying causes. Very professional and efficient because he didn't leave until he knows for sure the system is operating. Very highly recommended!!! read more

Stood me up. Was supposed to arrive between 4:30 - 7:30. Finally called around 8pm to let me know that someone scheduled my appointment by mistake because his son has football practice during that time. Did offer to give me half off the service call, but we couldn't work out a time. Feel bad about posting this because they have such great reviews, but seems like they should have checked their schedule to let me know they couldn't make it before standing me up. read more

My family has been loyal to Joe Hunt at Air Support for over a decade and will continue to use his services far into the future. He is honest, thorough and his work is incredibly high quality. He installed heat exchange units in our 7 unit complex in 2012 and the units are still functioning great, thanks to his maintenance services. He has also installed furnaces in two different properties of ours along with smart home thermostats. Clearly, we like Joe's work, a lot. He responds to calls and texts very promptly and payment is easy through his invoicing service. read more

Joe and his crew are top notch. He obviously has a comprehensive knowledge of his job, but moreover is a problem-solver who was able to do a superb install in my historic house. He's not cheap. He's not over-priced. He is the best. I see he has a flat-out 5 star rating on Yelp. When I see that I normally figure someone is rigging the system with favorable reviews. In joe's case, I believe all of the 5 stars. read more

I asked Joe to go to one of my customers houses for a new AC unit. I loved the whole process. Joe double checked the address, verified the meeting time, and waS extremely thorough. The apps and software he uses to communicate are state of the art and absolutely make a better experience for customers. I have started to look into adding that same software to my business. I'm definitely not looking forward to the time it would take to set it up as well as Joe did. Highly recommended for honesty, quality, and customer experience. read more

Joe helped us with our AC system that wasn't adequately cooling the house like it once was. Joe was prompt and professional. When he arrived, he investigated several potential causes of the issue while he assessed the whole system. He offered several suggestions in how we could improve our cooling situation and make our system run more efficiently. As he worked, he was meticulous in leaving the area cleaner than he found it. When he was finished, our AC was blowing noticeably colder and I had been educated on how to keep our system running smoothly in the future. He was courteous and patient with my many inquiries, even responding to questions I had after he left the job. Joe was determined to ensure that he provided first-rate service and that I was completely satisfied with his work. His dedication to giving classic, outstanding customer service was something very unique in our society today and warranted a stellar review. I would definitely recommend his services to my friends and family. Jason O. read more

Joe came to my family's rescue on a day he didn't really have time and worked late because the part needed for our wonky A/C was not a common version, requiring him to drive from Chula Vista to Pacific Beach and back. We originally found Air Support about 5 years ago and Joe was the first person we thought of when our AC died last night. His service is top-notch and he is truly committed to the best service at the best prices. Also, in these strange times of COVID, Joe wears a mask, practices excellent hand hygiene, as well as keeping a safe distance. If you need HVAC service, big or small, call Air Support ASAP...you'll be so glad you did! read more

Joe came highly recommended by a few family members who have used his services in the past. I had the pleasure of working with Joe directly on our AC unit that stopped working in the middle of a heatwave. We had a leak coming out of an upstairs light fixture whenever we turned our AC on. Joe came out to inspect the leak and our unit, which is almost 20 years old now. Joe was able to fix the issues and in the process he also made several suggestions on what we could do to cool our house better and more efficiently. Joe was personable, polite and very professional especially with me asking so many questions. His customer service was outstanding and I would definitely recommend him and his company in the future. Joe, thank you so much for everything! read more

I called Air Support last year because my AC wasn't cooling properly and Joe came out to take a look. He spent the time going over the system with me and let me know I likely had a leak in my system. No pressure to get it fixed, just told me all options. I couldn't get the fix then, so he went ahead and filled my refrigerant for me and it lasted for a full year. Fast forward to last week and the ac isn't cooling again and I know it's time to get it fixed. I call again and Joe comes by. Once again, he is the most kind, respectful of people. He explains every last detail and never pressures me to do more repairs than I can handle. We decide to chase the leak and add an additional air intake to boost my ac's air flow. In less than a day, my AC is cooling better than it ever has. His work is flawless. The new intake is in my bedroom and not a single spec of dust can be found anywhere. I'm 1000% happy with my choice in companies and I will definitely be calling again for any other work on my unit. read more

Our AC unit broke down on us during the middle of the heat wave. I was going to go to the original business that installed our AC but decided to do some research. I came across Air Support & read all their reviews & saw the owner was a previous Servicemember so I wanted to give them a shot. Air Support came to our home, determined the issue, & come to find out we had to replace our unit. They were able to change our unit w/ a great deal within days. Not only did they offer a great deal on my unit, they offered great customer service & were very flexible with scheduling time. Thank you to Joe, Carlos, & Lorena for all your assistance. Our home is nice & cool :) read more

My AC died last night right in the middle of a heatwave and I found a great company that fixed it today! I had used another company in the past but they couldn't come out until Thursday. So I used Google and found this company and the ad said they could make a same-day call. AND THEY DID. The tech came out as scheduled at 2 pm and discovered it needed a new pump. He bought one, came back, and installed it. The house is cooling down as I type this. I highly recommend this company: Air Support Heating & Cooling www.ACLeader.com / 619-204-4251. Thank you Joseph Hunt! read more

First time customer long term client. I called this morning as our heater wasn't working and it's cold in San Diego. Joe was here within the hour. Joe was great he explained everything in detail to us. He charged his regular service fee and fixed our problem and didn't add any additional cost. Joe said I would rather have a long time client and I'm only going to charge you my service call fee which was very reasonable. Joe checked our system out and worked his magic and let me tell you people we have heat!! Joe will be the only person we call from here on out. Joe showed us that true customer service still exists. read more

Joe is the best!! We were selling our house and needed our AC looked at/fixed at request of our buyer. I called Joe and he made time for me the next day to come by and look at it. He was honest and fair in his pricing (even offered us a military discount) and quickly fixed any concerns. He also gave us a detailed report with pictures to show the buyer what was done! We would recommend Joe 100% to anyone looking for Hvac services!! Thank you Joe!! read more

Joe recently installed a Trane 2 stage AC system in my home. I would never again consider another HVAC provider. He is honest, professional, neat, respectful of property, communicates extremely well, has the most extensive knowledge base, and is a veteran! Joe's quote was not the least expensive, but his expertise quickly separated his from the other 4 bids. Speaking of the other bids: one illegally tried to tell me my AC could be deducted from my taxes with solar, another was using non-Trane equipment to give a lower bid, a third installed my 2 stage furnace with a thermostat that could only run the furnace as a one stage furnace(Joe discovered this). The final quote I did not choose used the same installer to tap into electrical instead of a licensed electrician ( as did all quotes except the one from Joe- he used Jesse Keegan as a separate licensed electrician per code requirements and Jesse did an excellent job as well! Joe also was the only contractor to perform load calculations to identify if I needed additional ducting to balance the cooling in all rooms in my home. I did need more ductwork and expect the heating will be more even this winter. Joe discovered the incorrect thermostat, corrected ductwork that was not properly connected in the garage from my prior furnace install, put tarps down in the house and cleaned up meticulously, communicated thoroughly throughout the process and even met with the inspector. He also fixed a hinge on my closet door which was not at all part of the job, but he saw it when accessing the attic. I would highly recommend Air Support for any and all HVAC and solar needs. read more

I had a Trane A/C system installed by Joe several years ago and could not have been happier. I received several bids before selecting Air Support, but Joe was the only one who assessed the correct load and ductwork for each room. He also identified installation problems with a furnace that had been installed by a previous vendor. The prior company had also installed a single stage thermostat for my 2 stage furnace. Joe did remedy this at the time of the A/C install. He also has performed yearly maintenance and is prompt, professional and very personable. I also like supporting Veteran owned businesses. I would not hesitate to recommend Air Support for any services! read more

I met Joe about two years (2017) ago while he was working on my neighbors house. After talking with him I knew he was an honest person and I just got a good feeling about him. Today (Jul 2019) my A/C isn't working correctly and the first person I think of is Joe. I called him and he came out and started to trouble shoot the problem. He took his time in trouble shooting the problem and let me know what could be going wrong. He spent four hours working on the A/C system, but when he got done with it, the A/C was blowing colder air in the house like NEVER before. For the short time it was running, my told him it got too cold in the house, ha ha. I can't say enough good things about Joe, he's honest, has great work ethics, great customer service, you can't go wrong with him. He even pointed out a problem with my hot water heater copper pipe (not in code), which he wasn't working on. So before I sell my house next year, I'll have to have Joe come out to put the pipe code. Joe, thanks for doing a great job and I'll recommend you anytime we hear anyone having issues with their heating/AC/solar. read more

After trying a few other companies I got it right with this one! I was very PLEASED with the urgency, the service, the expertise, and the explanation of all questions that I asked. I got great customer service from Joe at Air Support. It was easy to schedule appointment, and he gave me a call when he was on his way so I didn't have to sit at home and wait for him. When he arrived he was friendly and professional. He replaced my broken thermostat, and recommended new registers to approve the airflow. I had the best night's sleep in weeks, thanks for the nice cool air that was finally making it into my bedroom for a change. I'm having him back to service my air conditioning unit, and I'm sure he won't disappoint. I would definitely recommend Air Support. Thank you, Joe! read more

HONEST! Great experience from beginning to end! We called after hours and Joe arrived within minutes. He diagnosed the problem quickly and efficiently and answered all of my questions. He explained what was going on and what he was going to do... he was able to fix our AC the same day!! He took his time and made sure everything was working. Thank you for being extremely professional and personable as you entered our home. Joe the owner is such a great guy. Not only does he have over 20 years of experience, he also is very patient and understanding which is a great trait to have in this line of work. I can't say enough good things about Joe! There was some mis-communication and a booking error. He arrived an hour early for an inspection that we needed for a home we are purchasing. He kindly waited until myself and the realtor could get there to let him in. He is very knowledgeable and has many years of experience. His inspection was extremely thorough and he explained everything in detail, unlike our regular home inspector. You can tell he takes great pride in his work and safety is one of his top priorities. Once we close on our house we plan to use Air Support Heating and AC again! Thanks Joe! read more

My worst fear happened my air conditioning went out on a very hot day. I knew it would be almost impossible to get someone out to fix it at 4 pm. I went on yelp and started calling everyone on the list. My number one criteria was they had to come that day. I knew I was going to pay through the roof but, excessive heat makes me do things I normally wouldn't. I called Joseph at Air Support and he said sure he'd come over. I was relieved that I found someone but, like I said before I knew I was going to have to pay a "is a hot day at 4 pm" charge. Joseph showed up at the promised time of a half an hour. He was nice and showed me exactly what was wrong. I could tell what was wrong because I could see by looking at the part that the wires were fried. I was expecting some kind of bull like since that was fried the "whatever" had to be changed was well. I had ASI the white glove guys out a year ago for preventive maintence they went up into the attic (that's not where my air conditioning is) and they told me my whole system needed to be rewired. I called his supervisor and complained so they sent out another technician. The second guy told me a bunch of crap too. It was so obvious that they were trying to rip me off because I'm a woman and therefore I wouldn't understand. Joseph was nothing like that he didn't try to feed me a line he didn't try to charge me for a bunch of stuff I really didn't need. He was like that guy that most people pretend to be. Everone knows a guy, you know that guy that is honest, warm and friendly, just a great guy, that's Joseph. He was very knowledgeable he found the problem right away. He didn't talk to me like I'm some kind of idiot. He fixed the problem quickly and charged a fair price without the "it's a hot day" surcharge. My husband even liked Joseph and he doesn't like anyone. Joseph is now our air conditioning and heating guy. We've already scheduled a heating maintence appointment in the fall before it gets cold. It's simple if you want a honest, knowledgeable, nice, warm, friendly guy who won't feed you a line of bull and will charge you a fair price call Joseph at Air Support Heating and Air Conditioning. read more

Very happy with our service today! Joe was the 2nd person we called to fix our leaking air conditioner. The first guy spent 2 minutes looking at our system and told me it would cost $7,000 to fix! I said no way and called Joe. He came right away, spent time figuring out exactly what our issue was and quoted us a very reasonable cost. THEN, he said he could save us even more with a second option. I truly felt like he was honest and knew what he was talking about. He took pictures and showed me exactly what he was going to do. He fixed everything right away and stuck around after to make sure the job was done (that it wasn't leaking anymore). I highly recommend calling if you need anything done with your AC. read more

Excellent service!!! Our AC unit went out during the hottest week. A few places I contacted either couldn't get out for a few days or their estimates were a ridiculous amount. When I sent this company a message through Yelp, I received a prompt response. I spoke to Joe on the phone & he was able to come out the very next day for a free estimate. He was very nice, pleasant & personable. No price gouging & only informed us of what we REALLY needed. Definitely recommend this company. read more
