I have two AC units that cooled my house well and being the end of summer wanted to get a tune up. We called this company for a tune up and they sent out a technician. The technician kept asking what's wrong with the AC And over and over again we said nothing, they work well, just wanted a tune up. He checked the upstairs AC first and said it's blowing out room temp Air. (I literally just had on this morning and it cooled the entire second floor). He then said he needed to run a diagnostic which I believe was just a money grab. He refused to look at the upstairs system without us paying for a diagnostic. So from then the upstairs unit was left alone. He then went to the downstairs unit. He spent over an hour outside tinkering around. He then proceeded to come back with a list of items that needed to be fixed and just said we should just get a whole new unit. After he leaves, we go to turn on the AC and it doesn't turn on. The fan outside isn't turning on and no air is coming out. We called the company back to tell them this. No one answered. We call back the next morning and we tell the woman everything that happened. She said the tech is busy, she can send him back out to us in a couple days. In the meantime, she tells us to turn the breakers on and off, which did nothing. She calls back later in the afternoon after getting a hold of the technician. She relayed the message that the tech says that he is not surprised that the air-conditioning doesn't work. She then proceeds to say we can send them out for an additional fee. After that poor interaction with this company, decide to cut my losses and not bring the person back who initially made the system not work. read more

I would call that not good but the old natural gas heating system was due for an upgrade. had my AC installed on January 27 of 2026 shortly after I had it installed found out that the downstairs was not heating the installers that installed. It did not replace a filter that was really dirty and did not turn on the valve so I was getting no AC thankfully I had called and they sent me Jose who is absolutely just lovely he found what was the problem replaced all of the filters that were not done previous time explained how to use the air-conditioning unit gave me quotes on things that I may need in near future but also said to just make sure to keep up with the filters. Contacted Air Pro when my ac went out this summer. The unit was over 20 years old so we decided to replace it in full. Ac and furnace. During the process we met with 4 different providers and Air Pro ultimately won our business. It started with a great consultation with Angela where she walked through the installation process and made several different recommendations for a new system. Including ducting. Our home is a split level so there is ducting in the attic as well as under the home. Air pro and one other firm were throughout enough to check both the attic and crawlspace. They also noted that my air returns were too small for the size of our home. Essentially our system was starved of fresh air. During the install process our returns were repaired and enlarged to make sure the system was getting enough air. Even reopening an older return that had for some reason been closed off. (Under the stairs no less) We were shown different combinations of ac and furnace units and went with a slim ac unit and gas burning furnace. The ac unit is rated over 35% more efficient than our old unit and we hope to see energy savings next summer when the heat returns. On instal day the crew showed up promptly at 8am with Romero leading the crew. He has over 25 years of installation experience and it showed with how the crew conducted themselves. When they first rang the doorbell I was introduced to each individual team member and shook all of their hands. Something that honestly stayed with me. There is only one chance to make a first impression and Romero and his team made a lasting one with me. Angela our consultant came by in the morning to do a walk through with the crew to make sure they understood the ins and outs of our home. Another small touch that was appreciated. They completed the entire install in one day ducts and all. We have our new ac up and running by 2pm! They walked us through how to use the new ecobee thermostat and were very friendly. Pricing wise air pro was very competitive. What I learned in my short time shopping a new system is that price alone should not be the final determining factor. Some companies only offer a 2 year warranty on labor for example. Air Pro offers 10. From consultation to install the Air Pros team was great. We had a problem with our seldom-used Lennox HVAC system, it was dead in the water. The system would not start up. I called Air Pro for help, they sent out Jose who is one of their technicians. Jose diagnosed the problem in a very clear headed and logical manner. It turned out that despite the very infrequent usage this Lennox system has logged, this piece of junks' blower motor had failed. Jose changed out the motor, thus restoring the unit's ability to run. Very unhappy with Lennox, will never buy one of their very service-restricted units from them again, but very happy with Air Pro. I moved back into my apartment in San Diego and it had the original Trane air conditioning unit from when the place was built in 2005. It worked great but was a little noisy and 12 SEER. I wanted to upgrade as I knew the original system would only last so much longer and decided to try and get something more efficient. I got 3 quotes and the Air Pro wasn't the lowest and it wasn't the highest, but was sold on the company offering a 10 year labor warranty. I picked the 18 SEER AC Pro 4 ton system. I was offered another discount to go with them over the other company I've used in the past that only offered a 2 year labor warranty. The day of install went smoothly and the new system was installed within the first half of the day. Everything went smoothly and the system worked great and was quiet compared to the older 20 year unit it replaced. After the install I requested the AHRI certificate to verify that the correct SEER rated system was installed. It took numerous follow up and phones calls to get the number. 3 weeks later I received the AHRI certificate and noticed it was a 16 SEER2 system and also it was 24,000 btu. I knew they had to downsize the unit to 3 ton unit due to limitations of the ductwork in my apartment. I am not sure how to resolve the issue of having paid for an 18 SEER2 system and having a 16 SEER2 rated system in my apartment. I have already verified with the financing company that the installation was completed so will follow up with the company to figure out where the miscommunication occurred. read more

My nest thermostat would say that it would reach the set temperature in ten minutes, but after running a few minutes it would change, saying two hours, and the unit would just keep running with the air not as cool as when it first started.
