He himself came out and provided a bid for the right sized unit needed for my house. He gave three bids for me. One was for if I wanted to change my old, large ducts for a modern smaller one for better air flow and my AC Unit along with an extra vent. One for the AC and the extra vent. And One just for the AC. I picked the middle option and a few days later it was installed and done. The total cost was $5,000 less than the lowest bid from the competitor. Ever since then (two years ago) they have given me top notch care. I called the number I thought was the office and David answered. I found out he gave me his personal Cell. I felt bad because it was late at night on a Saturday. He was perfectly fine and he stated he would get this problem resolved on Monday. He kept his word. Alex (owner) was incredible to work with. He came out to our property and did a full evaluation. He caught things that no one else did. One thing that stood out to me was his transparency and honesty around the setup of our systems. We have old suction lines and liquid lines that are not compatible with the new Trane units. He has a solution for that but he was the only one that mentioned this. Some of the other installers that I inquired from also quoted us on the exact same Trane unit and failed to bring this up. In fact, the other companies were going to install a Trane unit on old lines, which would cause early compressor failure and voided the warranty through Trane due to the units being installed on the wrong sized lines in the first place (verified this with Trane). Alex was patient with me through all of my questions, provided examples of what it would look like to replace the lines, and was amazing to work with. Even though we ended up going with a company that made units compatible with our old lines, I am forever grateful to Alex and Ideal Air Conditioning for saving us from dumping a bunch of money to potentially have a premature failure down the road. If replacing the lines was not mandatory, we would have chosen Ideal Air Conditioning in a heartbeat. We plan to use them in the future for all of our HVAC maintenance!

When confronted, the woman on the phone had the audacity to flat-out lie, insisting "I already called you and explained the fee." Worse, they totally misdiagnosed my AC problem--recommended an expensive, unnecessary repair that multiple other shops later confirmed was completely wrong. Their quoted prices? Absurdly inflated--often 2-3x higher than legitimate competitors for the same (or actually correct) work. This place is predatory, unprofessional, and dishonest from start to finish. They target people in a bind who need quick AC fixes and don't know to shop around. Bottom line: DO NOT GO HERE. Get quotes from at least 3-4 other shops first.
