I found Aim High HVAC through a search experience when I needed a new furnace to replace an aging 20+ year old furnace in an old, but renovated 1950 house. I was trying to find an honest, professional, knowledgeable, and ethical company to handle not just the install of the new furnace, but maintain the central AC system too for this house. I will admit that the search provider gave me a number of leads with well rated companies, and I interviewed and got bids from around 8 different companies ( a real first for me) but hands down, this company is the best I have ever found. They know HVAC systems inside and out and know how to advise you for what you need, not what costs the most. They want your business long term, not just for a quick sale. Tim listened to our needs and also evaluated the installation requirements for the house. This furnace has to be in the attic which did not scare him or his team at all. Of the 3 different systems he proposed, (we asked about an 80% and a 95% efficiency thinking of the environment and he had an idea for one in the middle we didn't know existed), we opted for the middle choice and could not be happier. The system runs efficiently, quietly, provides very even heating in the home and the cost fully installed was quite reasonable. Aim High is not the cheapest, nor are they the most expensive. They offer a fair price for high quality equipment. Since they are in for the long haul, they will not sell you junk. They now service this furnace each year and the AC as well. It's neat that they offer their clients a good rate for annual maintenance on the systems so that you can keep them running well for years to come (no contracts). They corrected some serious venting issues that had been in the attic probably since 1950, all in their bid, and also corrected a real issue with the near new Central AC condenser that I was unaware of when it was serviced last summer. Aim High is my HVAC company now, and for the long haul! They service my own residence too (furnace, central ac) and recently installed a great new furnace in my in-laws house to replace a furnace that was at its end of life, a shorter than normal life because the previous HVAC company sold my unsuspecting in-laws a massive system, way too big for the house and never serviced it correctly either. Aim High recommended a great system, again for a very fair price fully installed and fixed issues with venting and air flow that caused troubles in the past, all in their very reasonable bid. Tim and Glen came out to our home when our hot water heater went out. Tim answered his phone early in the morning and a new hot water heater was installed later that day. We have used Tim for our air conditioner that could have caught on fire. He saved us money and saved the air conditioner from catching fire and possibly our HOME! Tim and Glen and the entire company are outstanding. No company small or large can beat Aim High. We feel based on the two jobs, one air conditioner and then the big job of replacing hot water heater, no other company would do a job as well as the people at Aim High. After reading multiple recommendations for Aim High HVAC on both Nextdoor and a local Facebook group, I called Tim for a late Friday night repair when I thought I might have a small gas leak. Chris came out right away, took care of the problem quickly and there was no night/weekend surcharge. Fast forward 6 months and I decided that although my furnace was working, it had been showing its age (25+yrs) over the last couple of years and I decided to be proactive. I won't be able to say enough about the service and quality of work Aim High HVAC provided for me here today. (Part Owner) Glen was at my house within a couple of hours of my inquiry regarding a faulty A/C unit. I had the diagnosis and a price for the work within minutes. Fan motor and a bad capacitor. Our furnace had been failing for a month with another HVAC unable to figure out what was wrong. When the Aim High tech person arrived he was able to diagnose the problem, performing several tests. We decided after getting the cost of repairing the furnace to replace it. Tim the owner of Aim High was able to come to our cold house the next morning and go over our options for updating our furnace. The team from Aim High was at our house the next morning to replace our furnace and air conditioner. In addition we decided to add a steam humidifier and whole house filter system to complete the update. After seeing the quality of there work, we decided to add an on demand water system. The same crew of five guys completed the replacement of the water heaters in one day. We are extremely satisfied with the work and equipment, but most of all happy with the professionalism of the staff! Had a 9 am install appointment for heat and a/c, they were knocking at my door at 9:01. First person through the door was one of the workers putting down protective coverings on the floor from the front door all the way down to the basement. Nobody came in until all floors were covered. Tim then came in with his crew and went over everything that they were going to do. After removing all of the old furnace, Tim came and showed me the condition of the old furnace. He pointed out all of the worn out areas and the areas that were still in fair condition. After they were done installing everything ,Chris went over all of the controls on the thermostat, making sure that I understood how to operate it and make any changes needed. Aim High HVAC is AWESOME! Our AC was over 20 years old and was not keeping up with the heat. Chris from Aim High came out quickly to assess the situation and make recommendations. We thought we could just get away with replacing the AC unit, but he explained that the furnace that was put into our tri-level home was oversized and was not getting air properly around the cooling coils. He explained that was why our upstairs was nearly 10 degrees hotter than everywhere else in our house. Long story short we opted for a new energy efficient heat pump system that will also lower our bills in the winter. Our house is so much cooler than before. The upstairs is now only 2 degrees warmer than the downstairs without any changes to our ductwork. Chris has been super helpful with rebates and tax credits for our new high efficiency system. It was not a cheap endeavor, but it was worth it to have them do it the right way. I am excited to see the monthly savings on our future energy bills. read more

This is a long overdue review for Aim High. We heard about them on nextdoor.com. Had previously had Plumbline come 2X/year to check out our AC and furnace annually and had various work done by them over the years. However in 2018, Plumbline told us our AC was done for despite telling us the year before it would last 5-10 more years. They tried with some hard selling tactics to get us to buy a new AC and also a furnace and we literally had to show them the door. Asked Aim High to come and find out what was wrong with our AC. The technician couldn't have been nicer and spent several hours checking things out. Finally told us what we needed was a new thermostat!! We gladly purchased this and also bought the service/protection plan which has worked out well. We are proud to say we've had a totally fine working AC since. Aim High did a great job installing both a Lennox furnace and AC system for me back in June. By the way, my neighbors all appreciate how quiet my new AC condenser is, and so do I! Aim High provided me with a few different price range options, all very competitive. They answered all my questions and gave me plenty of time to decide what would fit my needs. No pressure. Also, you can't beat the no-interest financing option. After the installation, they were quick to help me resolve a couple of issues that came up and they were happy to do it. My furnace wasn't blowing hot hair, so I called Aim High HVAC. I spoke with the owner, Glen, over the phone and he was adamant he knew what was occurring. Glen offered to waive the service fee if he was incorrect (That's putting your money where your mouth is). Glen showed up just a couple hours later and diagnosed the issue. He took the furnace apart to provide the evidence of what was going on. We scheduled a replacement installation just a few days later, and in the meantime Glen showed me how to manually turn on the furnace if I needed to. The installation crew showed up on time, made some improvements/alterations during installation, and completely cleaned up afterwards. The price was more than fair and I feel everyone went above and beyond. Will recommend Aim High to anyone who inquires. read more

I wanted to replace my 22 year old heating/AC system and hot water heater with a tankless system. Move my current A/C from under the patio to a new pad along side the house. Add a humidifier and a new Wi fi thermostat was also recommended in the proposal. A good friend of mine suggested I contact Tim Evans from Aim High. I also contacted two other contractors and Tim's proposal met all my needs and budget. Tim and Glen supervised the entire installation, it was flawless from start to finish. We contacted Tim and his team at AIM High when we needed to clean our HVAC as part of sales contingency by the buyers of our home. We called and the tech was able to schedule an appointment within two days. The work was done methodically and efficiently. Because they didn't have the proper parts to complete the job, they had to schedule a follow up appointment a few days later. Which worked out with our schedule. I might mention that Tim answered all my questions and I was able to send him a picture of what the inspection said about the HVAC. His tech was keen to know exactly what needed to be done to meet factory specifications of the furnace and replace the inducer without at hitch. I will use AIM High in the future with no hesitation. We had to redo our entire house heating, cooling and water heating. Tim at Aim High gave us fair prices and extraordinary service. Unlike many companies who hyper inflate the prices, Aim High provided a great price for top of the line products. Our house has never been warmer in the winter and Tim programmed our thermostat to circulate the air constantly resulting in much more uniform temps in the house. The new AC saves us a lot of money in the summer compared to the old AC which is very satisfying (no more $300 / month electric bill, the max has been $125). We are extremely satisfied with Aim High and truly appreciate their service ethic which is often missing in today's companies. I responded to a coupon from a competitor to have them come out and do a maintenance check up. After they pulled out my heat exchange and suggested I get a brand new furnace costing anywhere between $19-$22,000. I called High as they installed my unit about seven years prior. Damian came out and took charge of the situation. Once the other technician left, he was able to utilize the tools that he had to be able to diagnose my system entirely and determine that I did not need anything done except for just a cleaning. Not only did I not have to spend $20,000 on a new furnace. Damian didn't even charge me for the hour and a half that he was here with his colleague. We we're having problems with uneven temperatures in the house. Aim High HVAC had great reviews. Tim came out and explained how the problem could be solved. Our heating and air-conditioning units were way over 20 years old. We decided to replace it all with new and more efficient equipment. Three guys came out did the demo and installation in one day. Their craftsmanship was outstanding. And best of all The uneven temperature variations are gone. The price was surprisingly affordable. We didn't pay for anything until we lived with it for a few days. After that Andy came out and did a quality inspection. We are totally satisfied with the work And the equipment. Tim was wonderful to work with and really made sure we understood everything that was going on and everything that needed to be done.
