The foods pretty good. The service isnt the best, but i got my food so. The ambiance is nice if there would be more people, its always empty.

Lentil soup

Authentic Indian fare with great food and wonderful soft, pillowy Naan (homemade on site). Even better, Agra Taj Mahal is open late and delivers! Service is a bit laissez faire, but I appreciate the personal space. I recommend getting one of the several specials. I ordered a special with lentil soup, 2 meat samosas, and chicken tikka masala. My partner ordered one with 2 vegetable samosas and a lamb platter. Both come with rice. They provide complimentary papadum (think crackers) and a chutney trio if you dine-in. Be sure to request it while you wait! It's gratis and sometimes they forget. I forgot to take photos before eating them, but the chutneys are in these shots. The chutneys are so good, use it on the Naan too! They are Indian classics: 1x green chutney, 1x brown tamarind chutney, and 1x red pickled onions. Menus attached

Mango lassi. Saude!

Great spot. Have been ordering delivery from here for years but finally went in person and it was a great experience. They're busy so the phone rings off the hook in the background. The tikka masala is excellent with garlic naan. And I recommend the mango lassi.

Pieces of what looks like stucco wall that was attached to the bread they gave me.

I ordered lunch today from here. I ordered the vegetable curry as well as the coconut soup. The vegetable curry came with what looked like the blade of a top of a plastic knife which I found while I was eating it and the bread came with what looks like piece of a stucco wall attached to it. Plaster almost - see below. I threw the food out and requested a refund from delivery.com.

Piece of wood from my dish

Food tasty but found a literal piece of wood in my dish... no idea where that came from

Missing true Indian flavors. But the nan/bread were awesome. This is not Indian cuisine, it appears to be halal Bangladeshi based on the environment and menu. The dishes tasted like they had canned tomatoes instead of the fresh. I'm sorry but this is not Indian food. The malai kofta was too sweet for my taste, it was like desert. No tadka here.

Took almost 1 hour 45 to get my food delivered. So definitely don't order from these guys for that. Not worth the trouble.

Had to go when I saw this on my favourite tv series and it lived up to the dream in my head. So delicious, cozy atmosphere.

If you are at all interested in Covid prevention, do not bother with this place. No masks, completely casual.

Masti Indian Grill & Chatt Bar - Butter Chicken

As far as Northern Indian cuisine, Masti Indian Grill & Chatt Bar elevates the dining experience…read more Since my first review, I've been here several times and every experience was better than the previous. My friend was craving Indian cuisine as part of a belated birthday dinner and Masti came to mind. I've tried other restaurants within Brooklyn and although good, there's something about Masti that allows them to outshine the others. Upon settling at our table, a very frigid Saturday evening had us craving a hot Ginger Chai Tea, unsweetened and very good. Pappadam along with the tradtional three chutneys were brought to the table on the house. Our order consisted of: *Chicken Tikka. As a starter, it was excellent. Having ordered it in the past, we knew it was solid and satisfying. Chunky grilled chicken smothered with onions and peppers. *Lasoni Gobi. Deep fried Cauliflower, tangy and sweet. I tasted one delicious floret, but it was my friend's decadent treat to savor. *Roti. Plain. Charred and Grilled. The healthiest bread to order at an Indian restaurant---thin and so delicious. Complemented the dinner very well. *Rogan Josh with Chicken. A first for me (and frankly unfamiliar), this dish was a home run. Chunky pieces of chicken in a yogurt based sauce. Outstanding. *Bricklane Curry. Again with Chicken and made with fresh Curry leaves. Excellent with a spicy kick---highly recommend. What I love about Masti Indian Grill is that they'll substitute any protein or even make it vegetarian from a menu selection. For example, Rogan Josh was under the lamb category, but prepared with chicken instead per our request. Service is always attentive. Staff--hospitable and food is on another level. Excellent, made with passion and precision. A go to spot you can count on for a great meal. One of my favorites.

The entire time it was being prepared, he argued with a man in the kitchen. It was an unpleasant experience, though the restaurant itself was clean and inviting. The meal itself was tasty, but a bit too oily for me. Naan was bland.

The cute restaurant was empty, but people picked up their orders or for delivery. The staff gave me a snack that had fennel seeds and was a savory snack while I waited for my order. So sweet. My lunch special was $13 and included chutney, tomato soup, meat samosa, and curry lamb entree with naan and rice. I think it's a pretty good deal. I really enjoyed their rice which is basmati with fennel seeds; this adds so much jazz to the rice. The naan was nice and soft. The lamb curry was ok, and will probably try something else next time.

I got the chicken lunch special at $12.95 pre tax which comes with chicken tikka masala, one vegetable samosa, naan, soup, saffron rice, and 3 difference chutneys for dipping. The chicken tikka masala had a lot of seasoning and a lot of sauce. The chicken was very fresh, chewy, and chunky. I love the chutneys which made everything better. The naan was very soft and warm and easy to chew. The samosa was very starchy in my opinion filled with a lot of potato. Overall the meal was very affordable with a lot of appetizers to go along with the chicken tikka masala meal.

We at this on the sidewalk so it was still fresh when we got it. But for us the food just didn't hit. I recognize it's fusion, but maybe the way things were meant to be balanced didn't mesh. The (impossible burger patty) lahori felt quite bland. Maybe because the burger patty was so thick, but it just kind of was overwhelmed by generic beef patty taste which wasn't what I was expecting. The nihari had some really good flavor, but I found the bread was somehow both quite dry and soggy at the same time. It's hard to describe, but I felt like it was working against the actual nihari flavor. Sadly I do think something like naan or basmati rice would've been better. The fries were pretty unremarkable, too. Just tasted like fries you'd get at your local bodega. I don't expect the wheel to be reinvented when it comes to fusion restaurants, but I just felt nothing actually balanced themselves well (at least for what we ordered). For $50 pre-tip, I'm a bit disappointed. This place has been on my hit list for a while, but I can't see myself wanting to go back. Staff was friendly and the space, albeit small, can fit groups of 2-4 pretty easily. I have a few friends that really like this place, so maybe I'm just the odd one out.
