Hands down the best ice cream I've ever had. I got the kids size sundae with banana ice cream, coffee syrup and chocolate "jimmies", which I thought it was so funny to see sprinkles being called that because I thought it was only an east coast thing. The whipped cream was amazing. I love that they come to the table to take your order and serve you. So fun!

Ice cream is probably my favorite dessert food, so I was truly excited to visit. As soon as you walk in, you are transported back in time to an old time ice cream parlor. You have the option to take your ice cream to go, or to sit down and order from the table. On both visits, my husband and I ordered a large sundae to share. The sundaes are decadent and delicious. If you like ice cream (or love it like me) you definitely need to check it out!

Longtime favorite, where I've been taking my children for years. Whether you're yearning for an assortment of yummy chocolates or an ice cream sundae, they've got you covered! You're always guaranteed service with a smile. And the old-school feeling inside will make you feel like you're in an ice cream shop from many decades ago.

Just looooook at this darling space!!

The world needs more Aglamesis Bros in their life! The sweetest little ice cream and candy shop you ever did see! Retro-pink cutie overload in all the best ways! But the ambiance is just the start! Homemade caramel sauce, sundaes served in metal bowls with metal spoons (it's the little things!) and gourmet chocolates and candies galore! I felt like my much-younger self! Took a hand packed pint of coffee ice cream to go so I could revisit this little outting for late night freezer visits to come! I can't wait to come back! See ya Saturday, Aglamesis!

What a treat! Same Americana atmosphere you remember - staff that has been there for decades, fountain sodas, malts, shakes, ice creams and homemade candies - wonderfully done They offer a substantial sundae list and handcrafted ice creams as well as the perfect banana split! Stop in for your new favorites

Such a cute date spot and sweet treat destination! The ice cream is delicious, and the shop has the most adorable decorations and cozy seating. The staff was so kind and helpful, which made the experience even better. My only downside was the bathroom. It felt makeshift, a bit sketchy, and not very clean. Other than that, everything else was wonderful, and I'd definitely come back!

Run! Don't walk to Aglamesis Bros if you are looking for one of the best ice cream sundaes in Cincinnati. The store is packed full of sweet treats. There's something for everyone. They offer excellent table service and have small cafe tables inside and out. Take a step back in time for a vintage ice cream experience worth every penny!

Mint chocolate chip with rainbow sprinkles, a double dish of butter pecan and Dutch holland chocolate

Visited this cute shop in one of the evening's leading up to Valentine's Day and it didn't disappoint! The smell of rich chocolate and sight of pink, hearts, and classic decor were the perfect winter pick me up. Julia provided exceptional service and made the trip one to remember!

What is it about the summer where every night you need a little sweet treat? I'd never been to Aglamesis so had to try it. It's an institution. Walking in is transporting back in time. The ice cream was good, and has a nice texture. I do wish they had more flavor offerings. The waffle cone was good, not great. I'd never had a chocolate soda so I had to try it, and it was refreshing. Service was quick and friendly. Definitely worth trying this place and the vibes are nice. Parking could be tricky if you can't find a spot on the street.

I couldn't believe it - an old-fashioned ice cream parlor where you can sit down at a table, order your confection and have it brought to you! The menu has lots of variety: scoops, sundaes, sodas and floras, banana splits- you name it! We sat at the cute tables in the back of the shop, which was decorated with mirrors and pink and white wallpaper. We both ordered single scoop sundaes, served in a traditional cold metal dish. His was hot fudge with nuts, mine butterscotch and sprinkles. Good stuff! And our server was very nice and quick. Street parking. I'm gonna be honest though: the 4 stars are mostly in respect for the history of the place, the ability to sit and order like the "old days" (note: this was even before my time -- and you can order at the counter and take away if you want here now too), and the cute, old fashioned decor. And because of the dad who brought his little daughter in and were having a "fancy" ice cream together. Ice cream wise, I would normally want cold, firm ice cream (ours were tasty but a little melty). And our server mentioned they make their whipped cream in house every day which I really like the idea of! But it too was melty, more like a heavy cream on top of our sundaes. Maybe need to re-whip the whipped cream before serving, or make smaller batches multiple times per day. But what do I know! I'm not an ice cream shop operator-- I'm just an ice cream eater! Anyway, this shop is a definite must-do for the old fashioned experience!

Hot Fudge Sundae

YUM! First time coming here and soo many options. Vibes were so cute in the restaurant and felt like I was transported somewhere else. You can either order at the front or they will sit you down to order. A bit busy so service took awhile, but overall great place. Got the sundae with hot fudge and sprinkles and it was delightful!

We used to watch their roaster in their store stir and tumble the raw cacao beans they import directly from farmers and co-ops around the world. The aroma was subtle and warming. On this visit (Dec 2025), we realize they had recently moved production across Ohio River to the Eastside in Covington KY :-( The store had a sweet lovely aroma. It was filled with chocolate products that they make themselves. Bars of white chocolate, milk chocolate, flavored, and as dark as 80%, assorted candies, ground cacao, drinking chocolate mix, and even a cacao & chai & adaptogen beverage mix. We went for dark chocolate bars that we hadn't seen before. $14 Limited-edition 70% Thailand Dark Chocolate, sourced from the 10-year-old family-run Khun farm and harvest-station for about 40 neighbors. It had a subtle fruit sweetness and slight acidity, balancing the intensity of rich deep flavors, more savory than bitter. I think that Maverick's methods smooth the bitterness of the darker chocolates. A number of family-members found a bar of Dark chocolate under their tree this holiday season :-) Founded in 2014, Maverick's is a treasure. Next time we get here, we're gonna plan a drive 15min south of here to take a tour (with samples :-) of their factory and soak in that roasty aroma :-)

I also purchased some truffles to take home, and I purchased enough to get a box but they were out of the small boxes. I told her I was traveling quite a distance and was concerned they would not make it. She said they would be fine and put them in a plastic bag. She could've offered the next size up in box! And indeed they did not make it. Hate I wasted money on these.

The store itself is so aesthetically pleasing and very cute! Lovely decor and very picturesque like you could just sit down there for a bit and hang out with some girlfriends. The lady running the store also was very friendly and kind. She explained all the different types of items they have that were the chocolate peanut butter thdnet, with a lot of appealing options. But we ended up just going for the classic buckeye balls. As far as the taste - phenomenal! The chocolate and peanut butter flavor went perfectly well together and they were not too sweet or peanut buttery or anything. Everything was perfectly balanced. Very yummy! It also came with an Ohio shaped chocolate in the package, which was very thoughtful in my opinion.

I dare anyone not to overbuy at Ruby's. Furthermore, I dare anyone to walk out with just one thing or even have an easy time deciding what to take home. I've prepared tax forms easier than trying to make the decisions I had to make at Ruby's. So here are some examples of what I brought home: Milk Chocolate Turtle Bark Dark Chocolate Turtle Bark Cookies 'n' Cream Bark Milk Chocolate Covered Rice Krispy Treat Red Velvet Truffle Cake Mint-to-be Truffle Maple Bacon Truffle Cake (you will never find a cuter confection in your entire life!) Carrot Cake Truffle Cake Bacon Brownie Truffle Cake Cookies 'n' Cream Truffle Cake Milk Chocolate Squares Truffle Sampler Box Gummy Worms Joy Sticks I believe my take home list illustrates my personal lack of self control and how good Ruby's is. It was actually somewhat embarrassing and shocking to actually write it out. If you're looking g for something specific, and you don't see it, ask for it. If you're looking to do something specific, personalized or creative - call them. They will be more than willing to work with you. Beautifully and creatively decorated, Ruby's is a cool little spot to visit. It is a candy wonderland with a little bit of something for everyone. Whether you're buying a treat for the kids or want to bring something different and really make a splash with a gift, you need to stop in. You won't be disappointed. Would I go back? Yes, but..... In speaking with the owner Sina, we connected that there is another location closer to me in the Liberty Township, OH area. This location was about an hour from me, in rush hour traffic. So I may not frequent this location, I was very happy to hear of the other location in my area. Myself, my dentist and future endocrinologist are all looking forward to my return to another Ruby's Chocolate's location!
