I needed emergency care this AM and made a trip to Pinnacles Emergency @ 9:30. The receptionist was cheerful and efficient in processing my paperwork. The doctor was attentive, professional, and took the time he needed to answer my questions. My total waiting time was a reasonable two hours, given my situation. (Though I needed attention today,my case was not life-threatening). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this clinic! read more

Been with them for a year now. Terrible service. I'm trying to get an appointment and have been put on hold after being told to just come in and wait my turn. Called tice...same both times. DO NOT COME HERE. Getting anything done takes forever, which makes zero sense because they have a million people working there, all talking and getting zero done. Especially answering the phone or helping folks. read more

I live OOS and my son goes to school nearby. When he sprained/broke his ankle, I Googled urgent cares and this was the closest. I called to ask if he could get an X-ray there and specifically asked if he could be seen, even though he's just a college student and his injury wasn't work related, and the gal I spoke with said that they typically only see patients who are injured on the job but that they do offer urgent care to others. She even checked to see if they would accept my OOS insurance. When I had my son Uber there, because he can't drive (right ankle injury), he was told that they could not provide care because his injury wasn't work related. What a waste of time. The employees there need to be better educated about the services they CAN provide to folks who call to inquire. I should have read the reviews and sent my son somewhere else to begin with. read more

The wait is horrible! I take 8am appointments right when they open and I still always have to wait. It's almost 9am and I'm still waiting.

Don't come here if you don't have to. Anyone the Agile locations ! Everyone is very unprofessional they don't know what they're doing. The girls talk to as if you're dumb but they don't know how to speak professionally. It's sad management doesn't train them properly. Especially working with a patient who is in need, they don't value your time there you'll be waiting hours just to be seen when they're doing nothing in the back. read more

I'm sitting here in the patient room, I've been here since 4:00. I came at 10.05 for an appointment but waited an hour so I left and said I'd come back. This is the worst urgent care Ive ever been too. If I could give zero stars I would read more

Horrible service! Took over a month to get appt when I was seen by nurse they had no records of me, I was seen by dr Pampon very unprofessional and didn't read my file or mri. In his own words "Im acting like a bay and treat my injury like a baby that's why my knee is hurt me " , will not go back .will not recommend. If u get a referral pleas go somewhere else waste of your time go see a professional orthopedic. read more

I've been here over three times now for different reasons and each time I've come they been super helpful to my needs. I live out of town but work in Salinas and I prefer coming to this place than any other Dr. Office or hospital in my own town. I'd rather wait to come to Pinnacle Health Care in Salinas because the wait here is a lot shorter than any where else. Its very clean and not overwhelmed with clutter or junk. The doctors here are good and above average. The front office girls are straight to the point and call you in the order you came in. That's all I ask for it to be fair and so far it's been all that and then some. I will always come back. read more

If I can make this review a lower than a negative star I would. Very poor communication with front receptionist staff. It would be good if they communicate and let patients know time waiting frame. I tried to make appointment prior to coming in, they said no same day appointments available. I was in so much pain, but not only did they say it was going to have to be a walk in, they have had me waiting for almost 3 hours. Then they state there's different station and reasons for people being seeing. I overheard people waiting with appointments, who had been waiting for over an hour. Save time! Would not recommend to be seeing here, your best place would be Urgent Care Doctors on duty on Abbott st. The longest I've ever had to wait there was less than 45min as walk in. read more

If you have a choice to go else where, do so.. we had no choice. This place is so outdated it looks dirty. The staff is kind of mixed you have super friendly ones and then there's the ones that clearly don't want to be there as they're very rude. They have some of the front office staff doing stuff that they have no business doing. We had a nasty cut that was oozing and they had someone from the front (receptionist) coke clean and bandage the wound. This girl put on clean gloves touched the wound then went and started touching all the cabinets the sterile bandage drawer literally touching everything and then tried to touch the wound again. I had to ask her to wash her hands and change her gloves. She literally had no idea what she was doing. So unsterile for sure. They take so long even when there's no line the waiting room can literally be empty and it takes them 3-4. Expect to be there a long time.. no I don't recommend. This place need to learn time management honestly Drs and all read more

Very slow. Blamed wait times in limited rooms due to some renovation. When I finally got seen 2 hours after my appointment time, lots of empty rooms!!! The doctors however are great 5 stars. read more

Honestly worst place to go, regardless if you have an appointment set they still allow others ahead of you and make you wait longer than your appointment time which should not be happening! Why set an appointment if you end up having to wait longer than you should? Also if you see that we are in the waiting room getting a bit frustrated dont be unprofessional and go to the back and laugh loudly at the fact that we are irritated! read more

I wish I could give a negative star. My mom is from out of town. She needs an EKG. Her insurance called there to make sure they would see her. We get there at 5 something mind you they close at 6. They now won't take her insurance so I say I'll pay cash. Then they come back and the doctor suggested we go to the hospital. I said you just don't want to see her. It's almost time to go. You just don't want to work. They back pedaled and blamed it on the X-ray tech saying he left already. Bad care! read more

I walked in for a covid test after being exposed. I was told that since I had no symptoms that they wouldn't test me because of a shortage of tests. I completely respect and understand that. My issue is that I was there an hour and a half, had 4 conversations with at least 3 different individuals there, AND I paid $30 before I was told I couldn't be tested. If asymptomatic individuals can't be tested at this time, let everyone know from the start so no one's time is wasted. Getting charged for a 60 second phone call with the doctor saying I can't be tested is ridiculous too. Be honest and open up front and please don't waste people's time and money. read more

Pinnacle health care really tested my patience. If not for my pre-employment physical I would have left. They have a terrible wait time & the front desk isn't friendly. I said I was checking in and gave her my name when she asked "for?". She actually meant for what? As in why am i seeing the doctor. Don't they have a list? I had an appointment at 1pm, an hour passes by and I see people come and go. I finally go up to the front desk and they said I was next to be called. Lies. Three people went ahead of me. I was finally called at 2:40pm. I still had to wait 40 minutes to see the actual doctor. Fast forward... nearly three hours of my life wasted here. read more

I guess I should have checked the reviews before I went to this clinic. They over charged me and never returned my money even though I gave them many weeks to do so. How are they staying in business if they have such bad reviews?? read more

Was hurt on the job and went in under workers comp. The physical therapy practitioner was great, the doctors were not. My injury still needed more time to heal and the doctor stopped my workers comp and was told to return to work. I advised the doc that i was still in pain and needed more time to heal. I have a very physically demanding job and was not able to work at my full capacity/ability. Luckily my job understood my situation and took it easy on my until I felt strong again. I have intermittent pain still till after almost a year. If my pain continues I will be filing another claim noting my lack of care from this place. read more

This is place is one of the worse urgent medical care place I've been to. They are incompetent and beyond poor customer services. The staff are rude and are not trained, can't do their job. If I can give them a zero or negative star I would. This place has potential because they have good doctors but their office manager, medical assistants and receptionist need to be trained on customer services. I would never recommend anyone seek services here and business to use them for workers compensation service. read more

Last Thursday my boyfriend went here with flu symptoms and coughing up pink sputum/mucus and been having 103 temperatures for several days on and off with extreme fatigue. They didn't take X-rays or any test. They said it sounded like he had the flu and gave him two Tylenol, then told him to go home and rest. Friday night he's coughing up bloody mucus all night, Saturday first thing in the morning I take him to the ER at a hospital. They found he was positive for influenza A, but he also had double pneumonia and sepsis!! I'm very angry that they didn't recommend the ER, he had pneumonia when he was there! He is still admitted in the hospital and has a very long recovery for his lungs. He's so lucky he is still with us today. This was our first time going to a urgent care clinic and I will never go to pinnacle health care again. read more

We came here to get an injection need for a bone marrow donation. Made an appointment at 9:00 and not waiting for over an hour in a room filled with sick people coughing away. Mind you if we get sick we will not be able to donate later this week that the person will need to survive, at that point as their chemo will be completed. The injection is literally a 5 minute process by a nurse. Ladies at the front desk are unorganized and rude. We are trying to do a good deed and do not deserve to be treated like this, it is a total disaster. read more

I'm a bone marrow donor for a leukemia patient so I have to unfortunately come here every time for a physical. Not only are the nurses at the front desk rude, but u have to pry basic information out of them because they speak in single word sentences. Your better off choosing an afternoon that u have free and doing a walk in and waiting a few hours, because if u actually make an appointment they still make u wait hours after (happened to me waited 2.5 hours after my appointment to be seen and missed the first hour of my shift that day) ALSO they don't bother to actually fully read instructions on blood work kits or injection kits when they get sent them. My donor program sent them a medication that would increase my white blood cell count. I can take needles but I won't lie, those injections were the worst part of donating (and I donated for 8+ hours straight) and that was because they did them wrong. They picked the underneath of my arm and injected two shots in the same spot. The entire back top half of my arm bruised up, I could barely move it, turns out those injections were needed in my shoulder and my stomach. Thanks for always making going for a check up the worst fucking thing that ends up ruining my entire fucking day. read more

This review is for the Watsonville location. Terrible, horrible, unprofessional, rude, and arrogant. Nurse named TERESA was extremely rude when asking about my issue. Wouldn't let me talk, constantly interrupting to tell me I wasn't explaining it right. Lady, the left side of my face is swollen, my jaw is locking, and I can't swallow. How much clearer do I need to be? Arguing with me about everything I said. My blood pressure skyrocketed and they had to take it multiple times because I was so agitated. Doctor wouldn't listen to me either. I pointed at the obvious swelling in my lymph and all he did was give me antibiotics and nothing for the pain or swelling. Acting like I'm some drug addict. Dude the only reason I'm at your stupid urgent care is because that's the closest one my insurance will cover. No compassion here so don't expect any help. read more

I called asking if they take workers comp cases. they said they are taking new cases and I would have to have the paperwork sent to them. I had the workers comp insurance do so. I followed up the next day with a phone call and was sent to the voicemail of the workers comp coordinator. I left a message. And I heard nothing. Several days later I left another voicemail and still nothing. One week later I still haven't heard from them. In customer service terms that is poor service. I could have at least received a call that they did not want me as a patient or that it would take longer to figure out. But just nothing. read more

If only I could give this establishment a ZERO rating I would. Please spare yourself, DO NOT go over here if you have any other choices. I waited for 3 hours when I came (Oh by the way, it's a walk in basis when I went there. I was 2nd on the line.) read more

The absolute worst service ever. The receptionists are rude and the doctor is lazy. I will never come back here. They weren't closing for an hour and they turned us away because they said they were closing. No patients were in there and they were sitting in the back laughing. The Dr. Poked his head out and looked at us and told the receptionist he couldn't see us. If you don't want to help people, you are in the wrong profession. read more

After making me wait for about 4 hours the unhelpful Dr who doesnt listen to my problems tells me to go to ER

As a healthcare worker myself, I trust my professional judgement to know when I should go to the ED or I can be seen at the Urgent Care. It is frustrating when, on top of an unempathic front desk clerk, the doctor if this Urgent Care made a decision for me to go directly to ED when he has not done a medical evaluation on me yet either physically or by phone. I left frustrated and went to to another Urgent Care whose clerk and medical staff, including the Physician Assistant, were pleasant, respectful, and accomodating. read more

This place has the worst doctors ever. Went in for an earache. After making a rude remark about the color of my hair, the doc looked in my ears and my throat and said all healthy. Did not feel or look behind my eras or feel my throat. Pronounced me well and left. Spent less than 5 minutes with me. Went to my real doctor this morning. Have an infection and swollen lymph nodes. Got antibiotics. Last time I went there the doctor barely came in the room. He was wearing a mask so as not to get contaminated. WORST place ever!!!!!! read more

This is the worst Healthcare facility throughout Monterey county. I just seen Dr. Diaz, this doctor refused to assist with any of my medical concerns or pains. My big toe was swollen beyond double the size and all he did was touch it and say "There is nothing I can give you; I believe this is gout but all you can do is ice it and take Tylenol". Very short, abrupt and visually irratied must be a long Monday for this doctor? But apparently to Mr. Diaz's (short) diagnostic and in his experience there's nothing he could do for me. The front desk staff is laughing and having a great time while people wait at the front for 5 to 10 minutes until they stop playing around and actually stand up and provide paperwork to fill out. So unprofessional especially being a doctor? You are dealing with another humans life and health and this is the type of treatment that is provided. Every employee sitting around having a fun time at work while patients sit in the waiting room and doctors only appear for 2 minutes to tell you "There's nothing I can do". (GREAT HEALTHCARE SERVICE) This facility should be shut down and put under new management and Dr. Diaz, you should just retire and allow the medical field to be ran by actual doctors who abide by their oath they take when receiving their doctors degree. If I could review as 0 stars I would. If you don't care about your health and want to just pay them your money this is definitely the place to get your treatment! Dr. Diaz especially, you make the Healthcare system the joke it truly is becoming, you are doing a terrific job at continuing the worst Healthcare service I have ever experienced. read more

Are you kidding? I and several co-workers have gotten referred here by employers out of necessity. Let's be clear and to the point: Why they exist is beyond our comprehension. Most of the front office staff either have hearts of stone or trained in presenting dead-panned looks. And be sure to follow orders without question or you'll be set straight before you can say, "But..." We think all urgent care places - at least in Salinas - share these awful practices. If you have genuinely had a very positive, friendly, caring experience here, get on your knees and give God thanks. read more

What can i say about this wonderful place? I recently had a health scare that required the care of a cardiologist, i was scared, panicked an did not know where to start. See all

Disappointed in the wait time and lack of customer service. If they know they move slowly seeing patients then be more communicative. I literally left after waiting near 2 hours and seeing several people come and go. If not for the fact this was a pre-employment physical I would have made other arrangements. Not sure why they do not have their act together. read more

I've had a great experience at this clinic, the staff is great and they work quick! I've been here twice in the past 6 months for medical exams and the staff and providers have been great. Through and through this is a great set of staff and providers. read more

Does not even deserve a star. I called them 20 minutes before I arrived to see if they could see me. They put me on wait the entire time it took me to get there. I hung up and walked it in 10 minutes before they closed because my eye was closing up pretty badly. The receptionist had me fill out paperwork and told me she would check with the doctor. Came back and told me that the doctor couldn't see me because "he already made up his mind that he was seeing his last patient" but he could see me in the morning. Mind you, at this point it's not even closing time yet and they have already discharged his patient. I understand that you want to go home, but at least close at the time you claim to do so. This is definitely a doctor who got his MD for money and not to help people. read more
