He would not answer questions, not even a grunt of acknowledgement that I asked a question. Additionally, he went into closed cabinets for which he would have no reason and without first asking if it was ok. Had my husband been here, I have no doubt his behavior would've been very different. I put a complaint in to American Water Resorces regarding this behavior. They are banning this company from returning to my home and have reassigned another company.

Cory set up my appointments, got me in on my time. I had a week vacation the following week from when I called and he got me in on that week. He also got me in for backsplash and post clean and paint the same week so it will all be done in a week. Cory was also fair in pricing so I was able to keep my budget with just a smidge over. Suffice it to say that the multiple head traumas I endured have been a routine part of trying to move about my basement which is barely 6' high. Recently the HVAC has been getting problematic and we were advised to consider replacing the 17 year old unit. Paul gave me multiple estimates and options. During one of his site visits, we discussed re-routing the ductwork. I was overjoyed at the prospect of moving in my basement without doing the limbo. Paul gave me a fair estimate for the furnace and the ductwork, and we scheduled the installation. The crew was very polite, punctual and neat. The work was done so professionally and the thought put into the re-routing was exceptional. I really appreciated the consideration that Kevin, Wayne and the other installer made while doing the work. All in all, I have used ITAK for about 20 years and have always been a fan of their work; now I am grateful in more ways than one. Thanks to Paul and the crew for saving me from further head trauma and backaches!! Karl

I was then told that I should consider replacing the entire HVAC system, which brought the quote to approximately $13,000. Before making such a major purchase, I decided to get two additional estimates from other HVAC companies. Both told me that the problem was only the motor and that the repair and replacement would cost less than $2,500. My advice to anyone dealing with an HVAC issue: always get more than one estimate and have the problem independently diagnosed before agreeing to a major replacement. It's worth the extra time and could save you thousands of dollars.
