Was in Manhattan and this is relatively new it appears so we stopped in. Very modern appearance and has a very nice patio area. The waitstaff greeted and sat us fast and very pleasant and had a few laughs with use. Now for the fun part. Had fresh fried pork rinds with a good seasoning on them. It came with a cheese dip with a bit of jalapeno and another oil in it. The pork rinds were outstanding and we ate almost all even with them popping and cracking coming out of the fryer. Now for me I'd do just the cheese sauce and tell them to hold the rest. I had the beer brat and it was good and favorable with fries. I enjoyed the brat and with what I'm going to say is one of their brewed beers flavor I'd get it again. I'd like to see an option of a spicier brat if possible but it was still great. Great, chill spot in MHK that had some local brews and other great cocktails. They have a back patio and small stage for local bands during the summer. Portions were perfectly sized and the fries were so good. Crunchy on the outside and warm and soft on the inside and stayed that way for the entire meal. read more

The young girls (maybe college aged) working here were very polite. There was live music being played outside which could be heard from inside. The ribs were nice; not much fat and plenty of meat. Quick pit stop here while visiting family in town and it did not disappoint! We just had a beer flight and the dip trio. Our favorite beer was the Hefeweizen and the queso/guac was better than anticipated. Went there with friends and found out that they no longer had the slider dish where you can choose the meats. Very disappointed. The portion got smaller and the burn ends sandwich had three pieces of the meat. The salad bowl with salmon added was so fishy because they mushed the salmon rather than just having a piece of salmon grilled and added to the top. The server was professional and recommended a IPA for us. The only highlight was the fried donut holes. Don't think we will return. read more

Best beer in Manhattan, KS! We stopped by for beer and dinner when we were in Manhattan for a few weeks and had a great time. Loved the lively and friendly vibes, and the quick and friendly service. I ordered the beer flight and another beer during the nightly happy hour, which was a great deal! All the beers I tried were excellent. We also ordered the wood wings, avocado caesar salad, and cheesy grits. All were solid, although we were anticipating avocado on our salad, but it was sadly absent. Highly recommend stopping by for the beer, and having some snacks while you're there! read more

Why can't restaurants leave out politics? Just noticed at the top of the menu that they won't use "industrial seed oils", then add more nonsense sourced from RFK about nutrition. Taking advice from that guy means they have little critical thought about my healthy food. The food tastes good, beer is nice, and patio is great. Why can't businesses leave out politics? Second trip and updating an earlier review. The food and menu have improved remarkably. Really enjoyed my barbecue and left full. The other dishes ordered by our large group got very positive remarks and the amount of food served in each meal was much more commensurate with the price. Service was OK, not great. We had a good laugh at the hand formed hamburger patty on my burger-the shape of Florida. The burger had a good flavor, perhaps a hint of rosemary (like a good steak)? The wings were generous, well cooked not over, not under. My fellow lunch companion very much liked the queso dip topped with pico de gallo. Suggested that next trip we order the full size portion. Tried the new place after the ballgame and I'd give it a mixed review! The service once we were seated was awesome! The hostesses need some tweaking! One called us for our seats while another one gave them to someone else!!! However, the delicious food made up for that! I had the brisket sandwich and my friend had a burger. We were both happy and enjoyed our meals. I also had the jalapeño margarita which was yummy! The only downside to our meal was the price! I paid $28+tip for the sandwich, fries and my drink!!! I thought that was a little steep for the amount of food and drink! Quality was there and we will definitely go back but probably not as often as we would if prices had been a bit better! Went here for the first time with my family. I went in with no expectations but was hopeful and honestly they beat my expectations. First of all I have to say the salmon dip was delicious, I would recommend this to anyone going! For mains we got the smoked platter & Cajun shrimp, with the sides this was just the right amount of food for 5 adults. The flavor of everything was great, our favorites were the pulled pork and sausage. My only knock off comes from the dryness of a few of the meats, the brisket and ribs. We ordered a few beers and even better we were able to taste test them before, our waitress was very kind in helping with this! We sat outside and it was great, my biggest suggestion would be to add some tiki torches and citronella to help combat some of the flies and mosquitoes. Overall for what just a couple meets lacked in moisture nothing lacked in flavor and we really enjoyed our food, the service and the atmosphere, we will definitely be back! read more
