I have been going to Dr Natividad for years and I think she's an amazing doctor. We've recently…read moremoved and I still fly/drive back to see her periodically. I have had to navigate health issues at times and found her opinion and care so helpful. She is willing to take the time to listen and I've never felt rushed by her. I've also experienced really helpful encounters with the office staff at times.

This has been the worst experience I have ever had with any Dr's office. I would give zero stars if…read moreit were allowed, but I would not recommend this office to anyone. To not refill medication which can be life threatening because the PA wants lab work. I explained that my financial situation prohibits me to do any additional testing ( I've had several test, Scans, bloodwork) all normal, at this time the money is needed for my medication. They do not care. The PA has placed it in my chart she will not refill until I make an appointment. Then they told me in order for them to print my records to move to another office I would have to PAY. To speak to the PA I would have to schedule an appointment. I have sent a message, no response. However, the nurse/ receptionist stated that my only option was to make an appointment. I asked if this could be documented in my records and she kept stating that what the Dr said was documented. I explained that I want it to be documented that she is refusing to refill my medication and of course nothing! Very unprofessional and unacceptable. I hope no one has to experience this. Other patients can use the appointment more than me I just need my medicine.

I met with Dr Zahalsky as part of his Direct Care patient experience. He has chosen to contract…read morewith SignatureMD for a portion of his primary care practice. For younger patients, he told me that he is still accepting insurance. They way it works for direct care, is that for Medicare patients you pay SignatureMD $1800 per year. Due to the crazy rules of Medicare you can't give him the money. They do. He also will bill your insurance-Medicare and secondary. With the direct care agreement, he will call you and/or text you the very same day. With the money conversation out of the way (isn't it sad that medical care is first about money, then also about care), I think that Dr. Zahalsky does a very good job. FIrst of all, I think he's smart and thinks things through. Second, he genuinely cares. Next, he will make sure that if you were to need to see a high quality specialist, he'll make sure that you obtain an appointment. There is not much more I can ask. The medical care system is broken. Everyone recognizes this. Everybody feels like a insignificant cog in a money system. Doctors and nurses all seem to be burned out. I chose to spend some money so that Dr. Z can afford to spend some time with me-I had a full one hour appointment. I was able to ask each and every one of my questions and have them answered. Paying $1800/yr is not something that everyone can afford. I know that. But if you can pony up the dough, I think it's worth it.

Dr. Zahalsky is nice enough. He does the blood work himself, and after a few days it's easy to…read moreaccess your information on the online portal. The wait wasn't bad to see him. I probably won't go back, because I wasn't a fan of how he handled the fact that I had high bp. He took my bp, noted an absurdly high number, but didn't take the time to check it again later. He ranted about "protein supplements" without any detail on the supplements or even about when I use them, which I rarely was at that point. It's possible that the high blood pressure was due to dining out about 20 times a week--I am on Yelp, after all. He didn't even ask, or let me explain my poor eating habits. I solved the issue myself by watching my sodium intake and eating more fruits and vegetable I won't hold it against him that the two specialists he recommended were not helpful. I should have done my own research.

I've been a patient of Dr. Walsh's for five years now. I appreciate his focus on preventative…read moremedicine, and his excellent bedside manner. I don't have particularly complicated medical problems, but when I do bring a concern he resolves it without provoking unnecessary anxiety. He's also referred me to a couple excellent specialists, both of whom spoke very highly of him as a primary care physician. Only point for improvement (and this has nothing to do with Dr. Walsh himself, and everything to do with VHC's scheduling staff) would be a little more flexibility with scheduling annual wellness exams. It's easy to get a 15-minute appointment for a concern that arises during the year, but the 30-minute annual wellness exam has to be scheduled a year in advance. If you cancel your wellness exam for any reason, then you can't get another one until a year after the date on which you cancel your original appointment. That's completely okay, and that's why I make extra efforts to keep my appointments--I figure a cancellation on my end is my fault. But if the doctor has to cancel for any reason (and there are lots of good reasons that he might have to cancel), then the scheduling team kicks you to the back of the line, more than a year from the date on which they cancel your appointment. This happened to me recently, and caused me to miss the annual wellness screening I had scheduled for January 2026. The first available make-up appointment was November 2026. Dr. Walsh is a great doctor and totally worth the wait, and since I have only minor medical issues that I can monitor on my own I'm just going to use blood tests at CVS in the interim. And again, this is a criticism of the admin team and not Dr. Walsh.

Just had my first physical with Dr. Walsh and the experience was phenomenal. He picked up on things that only specialists had picked up on previously. He went the extra mile to counsel me on things most internists wouldn't. Highly recommend him and his staff!
