This location is great! The facility is spotlessly clean and very new and modern. The cryo chamber…read moreis excellent - full body cryotherapy, and the attendants are extremely attentive and helpful when you do your cryo sessions. I have done it weekly for a few months now and I see the health benefits directly and intend to keep It up. The red light tables are also great quality and kept carefully sanitized after each client sessions. Again, I feel the health benefits from taking red light and intend to keep it up. I've also tried the compression therapy and that was a pleasant experience. The only thing I have not yet tried is the infrared sauna but enough clients take these that I will try that next. Honestly, I could not have hoped for more modern, efficient and excellent service from a wellness clinic and I have been recommending it to all my friends. If you take one of the lifestyle passes, it is also way more cost effective than similar services at any other wellness center. The General Manager of this location and all the team members are really attentive and informative and make you comfortable especially if you're new to all this.

some companies deserve negative ratings and ICryo is one of them. the Grand Fairfax Corner store…read morejust rips you off. They are great at promising services, but they take your money, shut the store down without even a 24 hour notice, and then refuse to return calls. The owner is a disgrace- can't believe that he actually was in the Navy because he has no honor. Stealing your money is the thing they do best. Your best exercise is to RUN FAR AWAY from I Cryo ( unless you like throwing your money away, of course)

Scheduled a follow-up for a biopsy. Was told they could do it that day when I called until I met…read morewith the PA in person. She said I'd have to schedule it another day but they had no availability. Wasted my time and $71 with empty promises. Front desk girl (the asian one, I don't know her name) had an attitude and was making fun of clients with her coworkers.

Been a long-time patient, off and on based on my insurance and if they are considered in-network…read more They are with my current plan. I had my annual skin check today. About 19 years ago, I had skin cancer and they removed it in this office. I couldn't remember what type it was, but I could remember the doctor's name who I had seen. I said they should have the notes and diagnosis since they performed the procedure. But because there was a period of 4 years in which they didn't take my insurance and I had to go elsewhere, apparently they purged my entire medical file! They only had history on me for the last few years. I don't have a copy of my medical records, nor was I ever offered a copy before they purged it, so I couldn't tell them what type of skin cancer I had either. So that was disconcerting. Because of my history and preponderance of freckles, moles, etc., typically photos are taken to observe skin patterns over time. None were taken at this visit. But then again, with my purged medical records, what would they have to compare it to? Second red flag for me as a patient. During the exam the PA found two small skin tags that she offered to remove for me. I was inclined to do so, but I needed to know (ballpark) how much it might cost me. I knew I reached my deductible for the year, I knew my coinsurance was 25%, but I needed to know roughly what they'd bill my insurance so I had an idea what my 25% would be. Roughly $200 to snip something off, cool; if they charged $1000 per snip, maybe I'd decline since it's benign/elective. No one in the office could tell me...not the PA, the assistant, the front desk...no one! When I went to check out, I asked if they could submit a predetermination with my insurance so I could get such an estimate. The response was "oh we don't do that. We don't know what codes will be billed until after the visit." I was confused; we just had the visit, we know the dx: it's a skin tag and it'll be require a local anesthetic and a swipe of a scalpel to remove it. What's the big mystery here? Again I was told it wasn't possible to get even a ballpark estimate. I asked, "so I could be signing up for a $75 out-of-pocket expense or a $750 out-of-pocket expense, and you can't give me anything more specific?" Nope. No other industry on the planet can I think of where you'd just sign up for a procedure or a service without having a vague idea of the cost. I don't take my car into the shop without receiving an estimate of what it will cost for the services required. This isn't a "let's open her up and see what we're dealing with" kind of situation. It's clear what the diagnosis and services required will be. If you don't have a billing person in the office, surely someone can get this information from the billing person/practice used? Medical and financial transparency is severely lacking here, and best practices for long-term patient care and skin history are not followed either. Not all of us are here for Botox and injectables. Looks like I'll be looking for a new practice truly interested in skin cancer detection and prevention, and one with billing transparency.
