We purchased our hot tub exactly 2 years ago from February 2026. It was leaking so we made a service call. Our hot tub is under warranty and per head of service operations... Our chemicals & water are is great shape. Our leak is a known hot tub issue. What upsets me is fact that this leak was not any fault of ours on AND trip charge is $149 up to 20 miles and $3.0 every mile after! ( sorry but we purchased from you; if traveling is an issue then I'd say DO NOT SELL out of you area! Our trip charge was $242 + service charge 1 hour $120 and part $35... total $424.79.. that is not a price you'd think of receiving when it's under warranty! After making a few calls and explaining this, no one seems to care! With that said I wouldn't buy from them nor recommend! I bought this for health reasons; I'm in total shock And very upset! I purchased a spa in September. 2024. The purchase went great but after the sale support has been lacking. They are very short staffed with technicians. Our twenty year old hot tub died and since it came from Aegean, I decided to start there for shopping for a replacement. Jenna greeted us and within 45 minutes, we had a new hot tub all picked out. She was super responsive to our texts with questions and coordinating everything. Delivery by Mikey and his crew was the same week. They were super friendly and efficient as well. Unfortunately, we had a small issue that turned out to be a loose fuse that prevented the hot tub from working. I texted Jenna and within hours Ethan arrived on the scene like a super hero. He was able to diagnose and fix the issue in 30 minutes and we were back in buisness. I'm pretty impressed with Aegean so far, seems like buying from a small, family owned business was the right way to go. We were in the market for a hot tub. Alan greeted us as we walked in. He was very friendly, informative and really knew what he was talking about. We ended up buying a Nordic Stella MS plug n play because of the warranty it has. One of the best I've seen since we started looking for a new hot tub. It was delivered within 5 days. Delivery guys were great. There ended up being a mistake though and no plug in cord was sent with the hot tub. So they had to have someone go back and get it and bring it to me. He came back within 3 hours. Then found out we needed a special adapter for the plug because it didn't just plug in to the normal socket. Wish they would have told us that before hand or included it with our hot tub. So we had to run to the hardware store for that before we could get it plugged in. We were super thrilled that it came with everything else that we needed to get started, like, cover, steps and even a starter pack of chemicals! They also gave us detailed instructions on how to get the new chemicals started and when to add chemicals from there and such. We are loving the hot tub and it's very easy to take care. read more

Very dissatisfied with aegean after sale satisfaction. We bought a shower base which was 1/4 inch too long...just enough so it would not fit space. They said they would trim it after some discussion. However, the bigger problem was that the drain hole didn't line up with our plumbing. They had told our contractor that it would fit a 60 x 30 tub opening...no problem. However, there was no advice to measure where current bath drain was. Plus it was chipped. No problem there. However..... Once tub was removed and contractor tried to fit in the base, the drain was off and could not be moved. We explained the problem and said we need to return the base. Response was repeated numerous times...no return policy.....after much debate, Amy agreed to give us half credit toward a new base if we returned the one we had bought (for $900!). We decided we did not want to deal with them anymore so we are just eating the $900....lesson learned. Tiled instead! Very unfriendly after the sale! One good thing. The designer who helped us (Angel) was extremely helpful. Too bad she works for such a non customer friendly company! read more

My husband just told me of the conversation he had with Chris... asking us to change our rating. And THEN had the audacity to say he felt the chip was our fault!!! Unbelievable!!! I have contacted the BBB and kept transcripts of every conversation. I have been 100% forthcoming and have nothing to hide. The incorrect information and constantly changing excuses have only come from Chris. I'm disappointed that a company would stoop so low as to insult a customer. Let me tell you about their customer service. We purchased our hot tub in March and they were great. I had to purchase some chemicals today so I went to their showroom. I needed quite a few things. I brought up some of the products, I said, "this is only some of it" and went back to get more. When I returned to the counter, the lady had brought me a box. (A little thing, but still, very thoughtful). Then it turned out, I brought up the wrong product. I went to look for the correct Frog Ease refills (I needed four). They were out on the shelf but had one box of three left in a different part of the store. One of the employees asked how many I needed, I said four, he told the lady to sell me the one box with three refills, then open a starter kit and take out the refill from that one so I could get the amount I want. He said just charge him $10 for the extra one. This way I didn't have to go back. The lady also informed me that if I spend over 100 dollars, shipping is free if ordered from the website. There was an initial miss as our in stock hot tub was not on site and had to be ordered with and 8 week wait. On the last day of the 8th week we got a call to schedule our delivery. (They were not kidding!) The delivery team was awesome by calling ahead when they were to arrive, arriving 20 min after the start of the delivery window, and helping me move a fence that i had dug out so that the tub can be placed where i wanted it. Since this date of this posting we did get grey steps to match our hot tub. The TUFF hot tub is a wonderful product. There was a 100 dollar discount for the repair of our pool light switch and I was asked to edit my post... so, this is my edit. I have not heard if the delivery guys have received any kind of training for customer service which was the real issue. But, I was asked to edit my post because it is a family business and they try to make things right. The sales process is wonderful until after the sale. Guidance and information on site prep were mis leading and caused a collapse of an insufficient platform built to specs that were misleading on their contract. The delivery was handled by a bunch of young men who tore up our back yard and drove over our leach field and were completly unprofessional bad mouthing Chris the entire time. We ended up helping with the delivery and fixing of their trailer on site. And the owner, Chris, refused to reimburse even in the slightest for having to tear out and rebuild a platform to the correct specs. BUY BEWARE!! take your business elsewhere read more

Where do I even begin? Ordered a hot tub in July- initial order the color was incorrect. Glad I called 4 weeks later to follow up when no one had called me and they had the tub there in their back room. So then we fixed the color and I waited for order to come in. Delivered today- delivery guys do nothing except put it in its location- but not really because in order for me to plug it in I have to unscrew a bunch of panels myself and then push it back into place later. But don't worry it's only 450lbs and I can slide it across my patio- they say. Also came on the wrong day for delivery. I was out of state so asked if they could come back the following day (the original agreed on date.) then they were not available for 2 more days. Then said they would come at 1 that day and came at 3, after I called to inquire if anyone was going to show up. Spoke with manager at company and he said 1 was not the agreed upon time. But rather he was looking at the agreed upon time for the original delivery date. It was a hot mess. Anyhow finally got the hot tub and realized the salesperson completely mislead us about the tub and it's maintenance . Was pressured from the manager (when I spoke with him for 30 minutes because I was refusing to sign the delivery form and complete the charge) and told I had to because the delivery people came late just for me- not my problem since they didn't come at the agreed time of 1pm. Couldn't even forfeit my deposit and delivery fee. So I had to pay in full and now have to take care of a hot tub that I was mislead about in the beginning. I'm in the process of contacting the original salesperson because he gave me the original info, so that's not Agean's fault. But I am not happy with their inability to relay or communicate information accurately or timely. read more

Our topside went out and much to my surprise the owner Chris handled my warranty replacement. They can't get someone out to my house for weeks so the Panel is being sent to my house for me to install... but he was quite condescending and rude through the whole process for service. I won't have my part until the end of next week as they will only ship it by our wonderful post office and i am unable to make the hour and a half trip to pick up the part that they have at the location only it's missing the overlay. I did not realize until today that he was the owner. I called the location after my first round of his condescending messages and asked to speak to the manager and he answered and said he was the manager and person that was texting me. Two days later (today) I go through another round of rudeness and call again... get him again and then ask for his manager to which he tells me there is no one above him he is the owner. I'm completely shocked that he would talk to customers this way. Apparently he was the one who sold us our hot tub as well. That experience was great. Instead of listening to me he was again rude and just kept talking over me on the phone. I get that covid shut a lot of things down and that things take time but maybe instead of being rude and condescending to your customers you should see what you can do to help make it a little less of an aggravation when a product they bought from you needs serviced or fixed. We bought a Maxx spa from Agean in July. It hasn't worked correctly since day one, which they were aware of. Lights stopped working again after being repaired once. Called in early November and was told they must have put in a "bad part" It is December 16, after calling numerous times and being told that the repairman had "more important jobs", he was supposed to come out today. I was told that there would now be a $55 service charge since we live "so far out". This is all ridiculous. Basically, they refuse to stand by their products and make things right. We will never shop there again, and will not hesitate to share with everyone. read more

After bringing in the measurements for our bathroom, Chris insisted that I had an extra 2" to work with than what I had measured costing me a small fortune to have my contractor cut down the shower base. When this was brought to Agean's attention they refused to compensate for their mistake and gave lots and lots of excuses. We had to beg Chris to come see the consequences of his mistake and even then he was full of himself and more excuses. This past summer I decided to completely renovate a bathroom. Every contractor I spoke to indicated that I would have to go to various suppliers in order to decide on the various tines I wanted such as shower walls, shower door, shores nozzle, sink, vanity, toilet and on and on.and they I would have to purchase each item and arrange for its delivery . It appeared that I was in for a long summer until someone told me about Agean Bath & Spa. In one stop I was able to view, decide on and order each and every item I needed for the renovation. The. Owner, GaryBolte, spent a considerable amount of time showing us the various items and making what turned out to be extremely useful suggestions all without our feeling any pressure whatsoever. He was immediately able to give us a written estimate for each and every. Item. And, as it turned out, his prices were either better than prices we had gotten from several big box stores. He also recommended a contractor, Mapes Builders, who turned out to be the contractor we all dreamed about. Their prices were the lowest of the several estimates we received, they started and finished as scheduled and their work was without fault. To make things even better they ordered and picked up all items we chose from Agean at no additional costs to us.
