Now the banana pudding, wow, some of the best banana pudding I've had from places around here. First, let me say, this place gets BUSY on a Saturday. Parking can be challenging at times (I circled the block twice before a spot opened up). They have two patio areas so you can sit outside when the weather is nice. They have a pretty standard coffee menu, with seasonal offerings, and a lunch and breakfast menu as well. Let's talk about the coffee - I tried their blackberry blossom latte - and if I was wearing socks, they would have been blown off. Best latte I've ever had, and it's not even close. I also tried a half order of the Nest, which is a small skillet with hash browns, eggs, sausage, cheese, and gravy, with a side of toast. The perfect breakfast ensemble! It was delicious, and was scarfed down in short order. I can't recommend this spot enough. Worth the trip out to Plain City!

They served my food on a plate that was chipped on two corners! As for the food--the Miso soup was cold, mediocre at best as the sesame chicken, you're eating cold sticky breading of something, (dare I say, it doesn't taste like chicken!) and the white rice was cold, hard, not fully cooked. I could barely take 3-4 bites and we decided to leave. My friend had Tai Curry chicken and she took two bites, pushing her plate away. We couldn't take another bite. I was afraid to even take a drink of my water that was replaced. I assume it was the manager that asked if we cared for a to-go box as we sat there with our plates untouched, we said no. Explained that everything about our lunch experience was not good; he adjusted our bill slightly and asked for us to come back and give them another try with a different dish. No thank you.

For my entrée, I ordered the 8-ounce sirloin cooked medium rare. It arrived exactly as ordered--perfectly seasoned, incredibly tender, and soft enough to cut with a butter knife. The sweet potato fries were the best I've ever had and were the perfect complement to the steak. Overall, my meal was a 10/10. I ordered the mild mushroom flatbread and it was okay. So heavy on the lemon vinaigrette that I was wishing I could taste the mushrooms, goat cheese, and arugula. I also ordered a side ceasar salad which was decent but again, so heavy on dressing. Others in my party said their food was fine but it wasn't anything special. It was quite underwhelming overall.
