Salmon build your own bowl and miso soup
Daniel C.

The bowls never disappoint here! Crammed full of healthy ingredients, and for such a low price ($13) for a decent-sized salmon, you feel good after eating here. The music is always on point, and the vibes are casual. The staff work quickly and efficiently, and overall the experience is typically smooth and pleasant.

I was at Costco gas and decided I would try this for lunch. It's similar to Chipotle, where you get to pick a lot of things, and you get in a bowl. I'm used to having a little more authentic Korean food with a little more spice. Even the kimchi was not really very spicy. But I'm thinking it's for the audience in the area they're in, so they gotta make it really pretty gringo friendly. It was nice to get things to go and be able to sit outside and eat it, but I doubt that I would make this a destination restaurant. I think young people probably like probably like it. It's just realistic to know that authentic Korean food would not be appreciated by the average gringos because of the spice. Yum yum sauce is an American mayonnaise spice; even sushi restaurants spread that mayonnaise spice on their rice rolls, just weird for me and not real Asian style.

This is pretty much the only location I go to now as I have always had a positive experience and they have always been very friendly! They actually fill the entire spoon when adding vegetarian/vegan proteins to the bowl and if I ask for more scoops of any of the other toppings they are more than willing to add. Many other locations and in general build your own bowl type of restaurants tend to not fill the entire spoon when it comes to a vegetarian proteins but when it comes to chicken it's an over flowing scoop. One scoop of meat protein is not the equivalent of one veggie/vegan protein. Pro tip 1: Egg is not considered one of the 'proteins' you choose from for your bowl. Therefore you can get tofu and egg in your bowl without being charged extra for two proteins + you can ask for double scoops of egg without being charged extra and get more protein as a vegetarian. Pro tip 2: Every Monday is Meatless Monday so if you order a vegetarian or vegan bowl you get 20% off and that is every week! These two tips are some of the main reasons I come here as opposed to chipotle and other similarly styled restaurants.

In brief: fast, cheap, healthy, hip and hipster. TL;DR: I've been waiting for this to open. Not because I particularly like Bibibop, but because this area needs more food options, and when I fill up at Costco I have been watching the "coming soon!" signs for months. It finally opened last week, but I couldn't get in because of my work schedule. I dropped in yesterday, starving and ready to give them another chance (I've eaten at another location, and wasn't particularly impressed.) I love Korean food. Love, love. And this ain't it. The name implies it, but really it is more of an Asian fusion Chipotle. Which is fine, for what it is. I mean, I love authentic Mexican but still go to Chipotle if I'm in a hurry, or even occasionally Taco Bell. They aren't Mexican, but they're good at what they do. Bibibop is good at what they do, I'm just not that into it. The place is smaller than you might think, and was crowded at 2pm on a weekday with hipsters, teenagers, and soccer moms. Service was super fast though (not real friendly, but I guess they were rushed.) Pick a protein, a base, veggies, and sauce. I felt rushed and wasn't sure what some of the stuff was, but I picked interesting things and froze at the sauces. Unsure, I picked yum yum. There is a sauce bar on the side so you can add your own. Anyway, I got noodles, spicy chicken, assorted veggies. Add a side of kimchee and a drink, and it was barely $10. Which is cool, till you realize you're hungry and the portions are not all that big. Maybe they need to have two bowl sizes? Still, it's a decent amount, so if you don't come in famished you'll be fine. The chicken was actually slightly spicy. The kimchee, not really, but it tasted fine. The noodles were pretty generic, the veggies were fresh, the whole thing blended pretty well. You can get free miso soup, which was decent. The whole experience, from counter to tall tables to stand-up bar, was geared toward fast eating. There's a place for that, and I'll be back when I need a light lunch in a hurry. But faux Korean, and hipsters and soccer moms, really don't do it for me. I just wanted more from the food, and even for a "pan-Asian" place it didn't measure up.

Bibitea- located in the restaurant. This is the strawberry milk bubble tea
Kevin C.

Excellently priced, Korean food in a bowl, yes! If you like Korean food you will love eating here. The concept is similar to Piada and Chipotle in that you pick your protein and then move down the line and have them add the ingredients to your bowl that you want. Order Purple rice, spicy chicken, and all add ins. Topped with yum yum sauce and ginger sauce On the other side of the store is a Bibitea where you can order bubble tea. I ordered a strawberry milk bubble tea. I like this particular tea, it has the right amount of sweetness and the drink is very delicious.

Strawberry green tea! Sooooo good

Best BIBIBOP yet just because of the new BIBITEA station! If you like bubble tea you'll LOVE BIBITEA, they use REAL fruit in their drinks! They're still a little limited in terms of their menu selection (non-dairy milk tea where you at??) but I was told in a few months they'd be adding even more options to the menu, meaning they're pretty much going to crush the competition. By far the best quality bubble tea I've ever had, so so yummy and refreshing! Oh yeah, and the food is great too. Overall, a great place to go for fast, cheaper dining. Take your food to go or eat in their beautiful, very clean dining room. The staff is so friendly, the food is very healthy (you can add tons of tasty veggies to your bowl), and there's flavors and foods everyone will like (there's also a kid-sized bowl so you can bring the whole family). Great for vegans and meat-lovers, those with food sensitivities (almost every item on the line is gluten free), those following special diets, trying to eat healthy, or just looking for some yummy food! If there was a sixth star I would give it to this place.

Beef, white rice, with all veggies and Cucumber Wasabi Sauce... Free Miso Soup

I gave it three stars because I want you to give it a try by yourself. "Bibibop" would make me think of Korean Style Food... Tonight, we finally gave this place a try. It was not as what we expected at all. My first thought after seeing the plate was this is not Bibibop. Where is the stone bowl? This is pretty much a rice/noodle salad. Asian version of Chipotle Grill.... I had a white rice salad bowl. Very healthy which means the Food was boring. No excitement... it was just food. Please don't get me wrong. It was not bad, just out of my expectation of the Bibibop should be. I actually like the free miso soup. Very asian soup.

I was coming back from Urbana on Sat. and thought I'd stop for dinner here since I would be driving…read moreright past it. I'd heard good things and it was on my list. So glad I did. It was around 4:30 and wasn't busy yet. I sat at the bar in front of the giant screen showing a golf tourney (don't mind at all). Derek was one amazing bartender. I had the Clockwork Orange cocktail that had coconut on the rim, with the Burrata starter. Perfection. I asked Derek about the Farmer's Salad and the Green Goddess Salad. One is more fruity and the other is green with peas. Both sounded delicious. I chose the Farmer's with added salmon. I'll get the Goddess next time. I added a glass of the House Red, which is a light Cab. I loved my meal and my visit. It's very pretty and the service was excellent. Can't wait to return. I just read it was voted Best New Restaurant in 614's Best of 2026.

Beautiful space and very allergy conscious!…read more I was part of a private party that rented out The Clocktower Kitchen + Bar upstairs area. The downstairs was closed when we arrived (Monday evening). Both the downstairs and the upstairs are very spacious with the downstairs having a large bar too. We had a great staff supporting our event - kept our drinks and bellies full. For appetizers we had a beautiful charcuterie board with a great selection of meats, cheeses, fruit, olives, artichokes, hummus and Gluten Free crackers and crostinis that were delicious!! You wouldn't have even known they were gluten free. Also had bacon wrapped dates and baked feta bites. The bacon wrapped dates were so good! For dinner we had chicken piccata, mahi, veggies, strawberry spinach salad, scalloped potatoes and a spaghetti squash dish that was vegetarian and vegan. Very clear signs on allergies that is much appreciated! Dessert we had flourless chocolate cake, mini cheesecakes, and one of my favorites - buckeyes! The space we had was great - mingling area for appetizers, buffet of food in the center of the room that separated the appetizer area and the seated dinner part. Plenty of room. Having a few more high top tables would have been great in the mingling area as holding your beverage and enjoying appetizers can be tricky with no table. Believe we had 40-50 people. I didn't get to take any photos, but a great space for what we needed - lots of windows and lights upstairs as well.
