I had just picked up my new truck and was just 10 miles down the road when I got a check engine light, I didn't even make it home without a problem. I called the next day and they got my truck in for service. The service department said it was road damaged and not covered by the warranty. The front facing sensor bracket was broken and the service guy tried to prove that by pointing out two blemishes on the plastic cover which on close inspection by me look to be mold marks not damage ( I worked in the mold department of a local factory), I know what a mold mark looks like. A quick search turns up that a major cause of damage is pressure washing. The service department pressure washed the truck as prep for the undercoating they did. I argued with them and got no where, the charged me 900 dollars. They lost my confidence and my future business.

There was some sort of hard bone-like object in my tire with some white gel like substances. CLEARLY someone tried to plug my tire up. I called the same day to see if it can be repaired or get a new tire. JUST ONE TIRE! My vehicle is a 2020 with 6800 miles. I was told that they can get me in on the 30th of August! WHAT? I checked the website for the next available appointments and the next availability for tires was on Friday, August 20th. A bunch of liars at this dealership. I won't be returning. So shady! And they refuse to take any responsibility for their mistakes.

Nobody from that dealership ever called or emailed, but we drove up the next day nonetheless. We were told that the vehicle we were interested in was "on order" and that customers that had ordered in March of 2025 were just getting their vehicles. They had a limited inventory, and I did not like the color choices available. I was told unless I wanted to wait months, those were my options. I was also advised that nobody had inventory on their lots, and if their website said they did, it really meant the vehicle was on order. My husband phoned Bob Johnson Lexus in Rochester, and we were given an appointment for the same day. Before we drove out, we asked if they actually had inventory on their lot, or if their units were on order or in transit. We were assured that they have several options to select from that were available (not on order). Our salesman at Bob Johnson Lexus was Greg Palmer. He was absolutely wonderful. He answered all of our questions and showed us several options with all the features we were looking for. Greg was knowledgeable, fair, and just a great guy all around. Our appointment with Greg was at 1:00 p.m. and the team at Bob Johnson was able to wrap up everything, including a 1:1 tutorial on how to operate all the new technology, and we were pulling out with our new 2026 Lexus NX 350h the same afternoon. Greg even gave us his personal cell number and asked us to text him to let him know once we were safely home, since it was a 4-4.5 hour trip back. I was really impressed by that. This is the 3rd Lexus I have owned, the first was an 2020 RX350, and the second was a 2021 GX460 both purchased when we lived in Arizona. This is my first hybrid, and so far, I am loving the gas mileage. The team at Bob Johnson Lexus were all friendly and knowledgeable from sales, to finance, and the wonderful gal who showed me how to use all the new bells and whistles that Lexus has come up with since I owned my last one. I am very disappointed with the service I received at Mini of Rochester (New York). I brought my…read more2003 Mini S JCW in to the shop because I was concerned that the engine might have overheated for a minute or so and I wanted them to check the radiator thermostat to see if it was working correctly. I also needed them to address a problem with the power door locks. They indicated that there was nothing wrong with the thermostat, but that the radiator fluid might have been compromised. Close to 2 months later, and over $4,500 poorer, I got my car back from the service station. They upsold me on a need to replace the oil pan gasket, which was the bulk of the charge. I didn't see any issue with oil leakage or loss to justify this, but went with their recommendations since they were the experts. They also damaged the oil pressure sensor during the repair and couldn't figure out how to fix it (we compromised on them installing an external oil pressure gauge, which I had to purchase). I now found out that they also damaged the wheel speed sensor (which per a repudiable outside shop showed signs of being removed and reinstalled with a pliers). This has resulted in the classic "Mini Trifecta", and has cost me an additional $400 to get repaired. I was afraid to bring my car back to the Mini Dealership for repair after the last mess they made. Now I know why my brother in law (who also drives a Mini) drives an additional 100 miles one way to get to Buffalo to have them work on his. As my Mini is starting to get old I was considering getting a new one. With this kind of local support I certainly can't justify that.

After several years with the our first Mini, we looked to acquire another Clubman, but the sales tactics used against us were overtly predatory, especially for someone that was already a customer. This included withholding information from us, like equity in our vehicle, until we signed an agreement and gave them a down payment for a new vehicle. They told us that they could inform us of the equity only when we came to pick up the vehicle in several weeks to several months. We asked several times for them to at least provide a range, and they refused. This pushed us to look elsewhere for a vehicle, and no other local dealers put us through that during the process. BMW of Rochester, Audi of Rochester, Ide Volkswagon, and others, were all wonderful to deal with and were very transparent about the entire process and the costs involved. We decided to not pursue another transaction with Mini of Rochester due to this experience. We did however turn the vehicle in to them, and when we did this, they agreed to cover the disposition cost, as a courtesy, as we were 15k miles under the lease agreement. It was our fault for not getting this in writing, as we've now received a bill from Mini Financial for the cost of the disposition, as the dealership never paid it. The dealership has now admitted that there was a miscommunication on their end and that they would no longer be covering the disposition costs. So we are left footing the bill due to their mix-up, which is inappropriate at best. Our experience with multiple salespersons, managers, and customer service representatives at Mini of Rochester have all exhibited a complete lack of care for their customers. If you're looking for a Mini in the WNY area, you'd do yourself a favor by heading to Mini of Buffalo instead.

I showed up for the appointment on time this morning and was told that they did not have the replacement air bag. The truck gets very poor gas mileage and at today's price I paid almost $20 round trip to Farnsworth for nothing and will have to make the trip again. Would seem like they would have known they didn't have the material when I made the appointment or could have at least called me to reschedule.

( I haven't had issue with brakes at all not a noise and grind) I tell them ill wait. I also had inspection a week ago. My brakes had 30% life left I leave dealer ship notice my tires are covered in black brake dust. Also just washed it across street before i went. (Proof) and 5 miles done road my brakes are grinding like Metel to Metel. Whoever drove my car after service check stood on my shit . they had too. So today I go change brakes they didn't put my set bolt back in I'm done with them. Great costumer service at desks but screw the garage

Sal works hard to sell a decent car at a decent price. I bought an older vehicle which runs great, and looks super nice after the detail work.
