And as I left I asked again, very specifically if the underbelly covers were re-secured and I was told yes. We entered discussions regarding the sale of our 2024 Tesla Model Y. After receiving what we believed was an extremely low-ball offer, we decided not to move forward with the transaction. The situation became even more concerning when a check that had been issued was subsequently subjected to a stop payment. As a result, we repossessed and retained possession of the vehicle. Months after the vehicle had been back in our possession, we were shocked to discover that the dealership had reportedly caused the vehicle to be flagged as stolen through law enforcement channels, despite the fact that the vehicle had never been fully paid for and had already been recovered by us. This created significant hardship and disruption. Being associated with a stolen vehicle report can have serious consequences, and it negatively impacted our ability to use and enjoy a vehicle that was lawfully in our possession. The entire ordeal has felt unnecessary, retaliatory, and completely avoidable. What should have been a simple failed business transaction escalated into months of stress, inconvenience, and uncertainty. Rather than resolving the matter professionally and moving on, actions were taken that created additional complications for everyone involved. We have repeatedly requested that Marina Chrysler contact the appropriate authorities to immediately correct any stolen vehicle report and ensure that all records accurately reflect the status of the vehicle. At this point, our only goal is to have the matter resolved properly and to cut ties amicably so all parties can move forward. Businesses are judged not only by how they handle successful transactions but also by how they handle deals that fall through. Based on our experience, Marina Chrysler failed that test. We expected professionalism, transparency, and accountability. Instead, we were left dealing with unnecessary complications that should never have occurred. I was pre-approved to purchase vehicle. When I finally decided on the car I wanted. I showed the car salesman my pre-approved letter. They verified the letter but proceeded to re-run my credit report anyways. That created a hard inquiry, dropping my credit score. In addition to this, the car needed an alignment. I followed their protocol and scheduled to have the car fixed. They gave me an appointment for 2 weeks later. To add to my experience, they kept the car for 2 days. I had to uber to and from work. When I picked up the car from the repair work. They indicated there was nothing with car. They wrote me off and indicated it was the "crown of the road." I have 2 other vehicles and when I drove them, I was not experiencing "no crown of any road." So, I took the car to Firestone and $207 later they indicated an alignment was needed. If you go there, you can see first hand the incoming calls going unanswered by anyone. They have a text messaging system they will reach out to you with and says to respond back on that, but again no one ever follows up on this as well. read more

Not happy with this place friend has gone round and round trying to get car fixed 4weeks after purchase it has problems with motor and training and they have bullied her the whole time. She is now scared to go in there by herself but this is where it's covered so not much of a choice, they are unprofessional and lack of any help, a good dealership is one that helps when there is a problem after purchase and how they handle the problem. Salesman was very new but very friendly. Van Ram 2500 was on the lot, I drove it had lots of questions which he didn't have answers for.. But he was friendly! I specifically asked about remote start which it didn't have the key fob version. I asked if it was like a Subaru where you can start it from your phone.. He said probably, Well since he never got an expert to properly explain the features I'v spent almost 2 weeks trying to figure out the dam thing. I subscribed to to $18 a month (free for 3 months) service and that didn't give me the remote feature. But I have wi/fi and can remotely lock or unlock my doors, neither of these features I need. What pisses me off is the fact that the van has an option that is called (Upfit) which lets you easily connect rear speakers. I spent considerable time figuring this out. No instructions no connecters provided. I purchased the connector on Ebay. Speakers Don't work!! I called the Service department first thing in the morning and no one was available to answer the phone. I did get a call back about 8 hours later and Dave told me that since I already had the speakers connected they could activate them.... FOR $180 (+tax I'm sure..) Is this a RIP off or WHAT... Not the dealers fault probably but after spending over $50k they could have said we'll take care of you... NOT. I never want to go back there. read more

Asked them to fix an issue with my transmission. I even gave them the Service Bulletin # with the exact instructions on how to fix it including part numbers. I get a call saying We can't duplicate the complaint so we recommend no action at this time. Additionally, I asked them to fix an exhaust leak. After the callback, I ordered them to follow the Service Bulletin instructions and to fix the exhaust leak. Now, instead of the car getting stuck in gear at stop lights it won't go into reverse and will not go through the gears at a stop. The exhaust leak is still there even though they charged me $80 for a $8 clamp. I just crawled under the car today and found the cause of both problems in less than 3 minutes. read more

At first I found the add for my car on Craigslist. I was assuming it was going to be a bait and switch... I show up to my appointment on time, I'm greeted by a friendly receptionist, then I met Phil. Phil showed me pictures of his daughters who were about my age and we shared stories like we were best buds. His desk neighbor joined in because it was slow because it was snowy outside, therefore slow enough to chat. We took a test drive, I was shown most of the features and I fell in love with the car. As a single female in a city over a thousand miles from home I called the mechanic who worked on my prior car for a few years. Turns out they've known each other for many years and used to work together!! CONVERTIBLE purchased around the end of February, everything has checked out beautifully and that's why I am confident in sending your business to Phil. A vehicle needs a little while for me to make an honest review and I'm still beyond happy with my purchase and I have actually had to use my extra warranty on the air conditioning. $100 deductible, so thanks for explaining the benefits of that!!! I just came on Yelp to post this review because what I have dealt with from Marina was so shocking. After what was an incredibly pleasant and seamless sales experience in June (Juan was FABULOUS,) I noticed in July my previous lease that they had committed to paying off and closing out was still active and I was charged my July lease payment. Upon checking with that finance company, they notified me that they never received the final payment or any notification from Marina. At this point I was not super alarmed, understanding there was some kind of error. Upon reaching out to the finance director, Jay, via phone and email, multiple times over the span of a week - and receiving ZERO response, I started to get nervous. I finally - after leaving 3 voicemails and 2 emails for Jay and other members of the finance team - asked the front desk to let me wait on hold until he was able to answer. When he finally did, he was shockingly dismissive and rude - especially considering my emails and voicemails had been nothing but polite and friendly. He told me the check had been sent and to call the lease company back. No apology for not answering or responding and no offer to assist me. The finance company again confirmed the check had not been received. Upon trying to get in touch with Jay or anyone from the finance team again - no answer. I called the front desk again for help and eventually she (very obviously) just let the phone ring and ring upon seeing my phone number. Eventually on the website I found the phone # for the business office manager who has been trying to help (even though it completely falls out of his role) and has been very communicative and I am so appreciative. It is so unfortunate because like i said, the sales experience was really great and my experience with the office manager has been good as well. I only wish I got through to him originally. I am just completely appalled by the finance team and front desk. All it would have taken was 5 minutes for them to say "hey, i am so sorry this happened and I will work on it and get back to you." I paid two weeks later to have the tire replaced. Didnt notice the front headlight assembly has moisture in it. I sent a message to the salesman asking if that would be covered, I never received a response. The vehicle needs brakes and rotors only after 4000 miles. Where to start with my experience at Marina Dodge... Everything started off pretty well - our salesman was brand new (started 4 weeks prior), so he was a little green, but very motivated, friendly, and eager to help. On the first night, I was told by the salesman and the used car manager that the dealership would write me a check to pay off my final two lease payments. We "signed" a deal that first night (on a handwritten line, no actual contract or agreement) and put a down payment on the car - no major complaints. The next day, I called the used car manager with some questions regarding how much I need to finance (because I wasn't given a purchase agreement), left a voicemail and never got a call back. The next week, apparently the car is ready to be picked up, but I still don't know how much I have to finance. Call the salesman and he tells me he can't tell me a final price until I meet with the finance director. But I'm not financing through the dealership... Few text messages later, I finally get a number that included taxes, title, and other fees. Apply for the loan through my bank, bank gets back to me that the purchase agreement the dealership sent over was $2K higher than the number I was told by the salesman. What happened? Someone "accidentally" added in a warranty that I did not approve or agree to. Get back on the phone with the salesman and says the first number he gave me "did not include taxes, title, and other fees." Now that's interesting. Few heated minutes later, all of a sudden "there's an error" and he realized the warranty was added on. Get that taken off. New purchase agreement is sent to me to review before it goes to the bank. Why is the final vehicle price still $490 higher than the retail price of the car? Because instead of giving me a check for my final two lease payments like I was told and "paying off your loan" like they advertise, they're going to roll those last two payments into the financing amount. So they're not actually doing anything for you and now you're paying interest on those payments. FYI used car manager still hasn't called me back at this point. Now we have to go to the dealership to sit down with the used car manager and the salesman in person and try to get this straightened out. The used car manager is one of the most unprofessional people I have ever worked with. Very rude and seriously lacks customer service skills. Kept aggressively pointing to the paper I signed on the first night and instead of calmly explaining why there was confusion just kept saying "but you signed, this is your signature, you signed this." Yeah bud, I know my signature, but the lease payoff was not explained correctly and was purposefully misleading. On top of that, he added, "why would we do that" referring to paying off my lease. Um maybe because that's what you told me what you were going to do and also what the entire dealership advertises. After feeling so frustrated at this point and almost pulling the deal, I finally go to pick up the car. I'm told to be there at 4:30 to meet with the finance director to sign the final papers and after waiting 50 minutes for the guy we finally sit down to sign everything. Wouldn't you think they would have everything printed off and ready to go before you arrive? Apparently, that's not how they do business. Oh, and they only put a half tank of gas in used cars before you go home? Cool. Despite all of the frustration and issues, the salesman has a lot of potential and could really thrive at a different dealership. My advice is for everyone to stay clear of Marina Dodge due to several bad bad experiences beginning going back a few years 1) My 2015 Jeep Compass then only 2 years old kept dying on me Marina wanted 90.00 just to analyze the problem so I took a different route , AutoZone analyzed it for free sold me a crankcase position sensor for 12.00 and Howard Rd Garage put it on for 80.00 at Marina they would have charged me 350.00 2) I needed an inspection and tires to pass inspection so I went to Dunn tire they sold me Vrydestein tires (great btw) passed the insp. The following week I went to Marina for my free oil change whereby they said I needed front tie rods and the job 750.00 mind youit had just passed inspection at Dunn tire so I took it back there and told them what Marina had said they took it in looked again and said on a scale of 1to 10 the tie rods wear was a 1 and to come back in march or April of the following year their price when I did 450.00. 3) The next free oil change at Marina came and took it in when the job was done I left drove about 3 miles when the oil light came on I drove it back another 3 miles, they didnt put any oil in I wouldnt trust Marina to even do an oil change correctly but after all they were free and now to the most recent like in today 4) 3 months ago I had a blown engine or so they told me when it was running really rough so they replaced it with a used engine the good news Jeep Corp not Marina after my pressing them hard did it for free which brings me to today my car quit on 490 I could only do 20mph very dangerous they had it towed in problem diagnosis or so they claimed electronic throttle control which is attached to the engine price to replace 750.00 just 3 months after they replaced the entire engine . Now I checked online for an electronic throttle control they can range anywhere from 80.00 to 150.00 Marina was charging 350 for that part IF IF it was actually what was wrong instead of say the pedal sensor . I've had my Mitsubishi outlander for six years and love it more every year. It drives as nice as my friends Audi and uses regular gas. I got the VIP package when I purchased it at Marina and still get the oil changed for free every six months, which is a huge cost savings over time. Went to Marina a few weeks ago. My lease was almost up and I wanted to see if they would buy my truck that I leased from them 3 years prior. The truck had under 12K miles and did have some scratch's and dents in it but it had been appraised for around $32,000. I wanted Marina to buy it for that much, I pay off the lease at $23K and put the $9000 toward a new purchase. They told me it would cost them $39,000 to buy the truck which is confirmed with Ally. I said they could buy it under my name. They just front the money. I needed the $9000 for a down payment and did not want to give the truck back without getting the equity from it. Marina said there was no way they could do that. Absolutely not. After checking with a few other places it seemed that buying out leases wasn't something people were really doing anymore so I looked for used cars and found one my Marina Used Cars. Monday I picked up my new car and left my truck. Tuesday they call me saying I had to sign papers for turning in the lease stating the mileage and condition of the truck. When I go into the main Marina store there is an offer to buy my truck at $23k. Now they wanted to buy my truck for $23k because they knew I had almost $10k in equity in it and they could sell it for a nice profit. They wanted me to tell Ally I was buying the truck and they would front the money so they could get it at my price ($23K instead of the dealer price of $39K). Just weeks ago I asked them to do this and they wouldn't do it to help me out but now that they thought I had no cards to play since I already bought a different they were going to try to buy from for $23K. I couldn't believe it. I told them I would sell if to them for $28k, then they give me $5000 and they can sell it for $32,000 and make $5000 and everybody is happy. Nope. I would recommend this dealership to no one. I had been to at least 4 other dealerships prior to this, however had not found "the car". In my search, my Jeep trade in had been appraised for $5,500-$7,000 each time. They lowballed me and refused to give me more than $4,000 for it. When we noticed it only came with one key and asked at least for the several hundred dollars it would take for me to go replace the spare on my own, "not our problem".
