Waste Management wouldn't haul it from my location, and even if they could have, they would have charged me twice as much to do the job! I called around and got a few quotes, and One Call Clean Out was the best by far, and the quickest to respond. Justin returned my phone call and gave me a quote within minutes, then he showed up on time and with his crew on the following day. He was courteous, and FAST! The two large piles were gone from the front of my house and my back yard within 20 minutes! Don't worry about calling the big guys like 1-800-Got-Junk when One Call Clean Out can do the job for you professionally, quickly, and more inexpensively than the competitors.

Once they arrived they managed to do the clean out fast and efficiently. What impressed me the most were the way they managed to condense things into the smallest space possible (saving me money!) and how respectful they were of the house. How they managed to do all of this without a scratch of damage to the house is amazing. On top of all that, they were incredibly friendly and great guys to have around. I can't recommend them highly enough. And for the price it's a complete no-brainer. One Call Clean Out is the best!

Having to hire a slate roofer in the Allentown area (rather than relying on our old one in another…read morearea) turned out to be a re-education about the difficulty of finding a reputable and responsive roofer. In all, I made five phone calls to try to line up estimates on having slates replaced. Two never bothered to return the call. One called back 3-4 days later. Another called back 2 days later. (That guy, the Coplay, not Bensalem Romano, said he "doesn't do" estimates on slate replacements.) Just one called back that very day, and boy, did we luck out - J & M Roofing. We already knew the rough going price of slate replacement and J & M was right in the pocket. The boss, Greg, was a charming and down to earth guy and his son (he has two in the business with him) made a point of stopping by swiftly and taking pictures that were emailed to us to show exactly what needed replacing. Greg has been in the business a long time and knows how to ration his time. Quicker jobs like ours get reserved for days of iffy weather and weekends, and indeed, the following weekend he and one son and one helper showed up and got the job done in short order. The job was done just recently so I can't tell you about durability. I can tell you that we were happy with the speed of response, and that all the workers were personable and cleaned up afterwards decently. Throughout the process, Greg was a good and consistent communicator too. If you're looking for an experienced roofer - and one who knows slate - definitely include J & M Roofing in your considerations.

He didn't overcomplicate the project or load me up with roofing jargon like other contractors did. Their quote came in customized to our project and was built to have no large "extra material " surprises when the project closed. They were always communicative and friendly about the project. When they encountered a situation that was abnormal, they walked me through the issue and offered resolutions that would've cost them money. They seem to be stand-up craftsmen who want to do a good job at all costs and don't treat their customers like just another number. If you are going to invite anyone to do work on their home especially on your roof, they are the type to get.

SERVPRO of Upper Bucks - Reaching new heights with this duct cleaning!

    SERVPRO of Upper Bucks

SERVPRO of Upper Bucks Destroyed Our Historic Home--and Still Hasn't Fixed It, 4 Months Later…read more We hired SERVPRO of Upper Bucks, N.W. Hunterdon County (Servpro Team McCabe) for what was supposed to be a small, two-day mold remediation job in the attic of the 1920s historic farmhouse we had just purchased in Riegelsville, PA. The mold was mild and limited to the insulation. We were assured the insulation would be safely removed and a clear encapsulant applied only to affected areas. We scheduled everything so the work would be completed before we moved in. Instead, SERVPRO of Upper Bucks' handling of this project displaced us from our new home and led to a cascade of delays, damages, and health concerns. What was supposed to take two days turned into over a month--leaving our attic, HVAC system, and parts of our interior permanently damaged. This was not an unfinished crawlspace. It was a walkable, historic attic with exposed beams, hardwood floors, and hundred year old woodwork. Rather than respecting the space, the Servpro Team McCabe sprayed white industrial product across every visible surface--including floors, stairs, and walls, even in areas with no mold. The application was thick, dripping, uneven, and permanently obscured the historic woodwork. Ed Hall, of Servpro Team McCabe, acknowledged the work wasn't done to scope and sent a team back to correct their mistake. For nearly a month, Team McCabe was in our attic attempting to scrape and sand the white product off of original beams and wood flooring. Their efforts failed and caused even more damage. Our home security footage captured Keith Conner, the crew lead, standing directly in front of a camera saying something to the effect of: "I ran out of the clear coating, so I just grabbed the white coating that was at the shop." Keith then cursed about our family, called one of us a "smart ass," and continued swearing audibly--all while inside our home. The environment became hostile and tense, and we were forced to endure it for the better part of a month while they attempted to fix their mistake. Additional damage includes: - Cracked attic stair treads, now unsafe to step on - Broken hardwood planks in our upstairs bedroom - A solvent stain on the ceiling below the attic from their removal attempt - Peeling paint from aggressive plastic sheeting removal - Dirt and construction debris tracked through our home due to lack of floor protection or shoe covers - Extraordinary utility bills during the month-long "correction" process - The cost of hiring professional cleaners after Servpro abandoned the job - Ongoing emotional stress and disruption to our family's daily life And then we discovered the HVAC damage. While working in the attic, the Servpro Team McCabe crushed part of our high-velocity air conditioning system -- a specialized, sensitive system common in historic homes. Multiple ducts were visibly smashed. One was "patched" with a plastic trash bag tied to the air handler. Yes, a literal plastic trash bag. As of July 2, that bag is still there, and we've been unable to safely run the system during a heat wave. Multiple HVAC professionals have told us: - The ductwork is beyond repair - The entire duct system must be replaced ($5k+) - Fiberglass ducts were damaged and may be blowing fiberglass particles into the house and onto our family. Despite all of this, Servpro Team McCabe has offered no resolution. Our last communication from them was April 28, 2025 with us asking what they are going to make this right. Since then, nothing--no plan, no apology, no reimbursement. In early July 2025, they reached out only to ask for their final payment. We have extensive documentation: home security footage, photos of damage, emails and texts with Servpro staff, independent HVAC evaluations and quotes. We are a young family who trusted SERVPRO to help make our home safer. Instead, they damaged it, compromised its air system, and left us with the burden of cleanup and repair. We're sharing this review to: - Warn other families, especially those with historic homes and young children - Urge SERVPRO Corporate to take action and make this right We never wanted to write this review. But our home--and our health--were put at risk by a company that claims to protect both.
